Support Atlas in my efforts to bring America to her senses. I am starting a new organization with Robert Spencer. We will be doing our first event at CPAC this year. It will be a killer.
There is little to no money in blogging (know any bloggers? ask 'em), so its incumbent upon us to keep Atlas going.
Last year I organized my first event at CPAC. It was a triumph. I brought Geert Wilders to CPAC (for those who were there it was a night to remember). I had to turn away hundreds. Mind you, I did not charge for that event and we will not be charging for this year's event, either.
Plan to be at CPAC this year, or at least in DC, and set aside Friday, February 19th from 10 am to noon (there will be more on that to come). Look for an announcement at Atlas and Jihadwatch later this week. But I need your help getting it off the ground. I will not be charging for attendance, but it costs.
When I travel to cover events, it costs.
When I organize rallies, it costs.
When I attend CPAC (or the RNC or any conference) as an official blogger, it costs.
When I organize, events or conferences, it costs.
No one underwrites me. No one. Not a penny.
All of these right wing organizations have donors, big donors, small donors .... and fund raising arms. They are, by their very nature, fund raising machines. Not Atlas.
Madison Avenue does not support right of center bloggers, and frankly they do not know how to buy new media. Their business model is old dinosaur media, and they wouldn't buy right of center websites even if they knew how.
In the interest of capitalism, free markets, work = pay, and free speech, I ask you to contribute or take a voluntary subscription to Atlas, whatever it's worth to you. It's not charity. It's remuneration for my hard work.
I rarely do this, but It's time for the Atlas contribution drive. Atlas does not live by words alone; contribute to the damn thing!
It takes enormous time and effort to build this new media news source, so help Atlas run. Go here and keep the blog on fire. ACTION, baby, ACTION.
