UPDATE: Shlep Smith has the jihadi's cousin on the phone, Nader Hasan, and Schlep is lapping up the lies and he is doing the taqiya. Nader is saying the Malik was a great American. Hasan is saying that the mass murderer "was harassed" and that's why he methodically planned and executed this massive attack on a US military installation.
He was not a convert. He is a devout Muslim who joined the army with a purpose.
7:16 pm UPDATE: Malik Nadal Hasan, the jihadi who led the attack on Fort Hood, was quoted as saying "Muslims have the right to rise up against the US military" "The Muslims have a right to stand up against the aggressors" "Maybe we should have more of these where people strap bombs on themselves and go into Times Square" - this according to Col Terry Lee, who worked with Muslim convert.
No word on the two other suspects ..... something tells me they are not scientologists.

This was "not the act of a crazy". This was not the random act of a
nutcase. It was execution style, close range. He shot 44 - 50 rounds -
that's a lot of ammunition to come out of those two guns in such a

A civilian policeman shot the Muslim terrorist Malik Nadal Hasan. The hero who shot him dead was killed in the ensuing gunfire.
Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, R-Texas, told Fox News that military sources informed her that the gunman was about to be deployed to Iraq.
The shooter was killed and two other suspects, who are also soldiers, have been apprehended, Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone said.
The general said there were "eyewitness accounts of more than one shooter," and the others were tracked to an adjacent facility.
Cone said that a gunman entered a facility known as the Soldier Readiness Facility, where soldiers who are preparing to deploy go for last minute medical check ups and dental treatment. Sources told ABC News that the soldiers gathered there were getting ready to deploy to Iraq.
The gunman used two handguns, Cone said. He wasn't sure if the shooter reloaded the weapons during the attack.
"The gunman opened fire and essentially due to the quick respond of the police forces was killed," said Cone.
The shooter was killed by civilian law enforcement and one police officer died in the shootout, Cone said.
The gunman's suspected accomplices were taken into custody in an adjacent facility known as the old SportsDome Complex.

One gunman was in custody and another was on the loose, local media reported. One station said there was a third shooter involved. It went down during graduation ceremony.
At least seven people have been killed and 12 others injured in a shooting at the Fort Hood military base in Texas, according to US media reports.
One person has been arrested and at least one more is reportedly on the loose. The base has been locked down.
NBC News network said the two suspects were in military uniform and that the shooter-at-large was believed to have a high-powered sniper rifle.
Fort Hood, located near the town of Killeen, is a large US military base.
Home to about 40,000 US troops, it lies halfway between Austin and Waco, about 60 miles (97 km) from each city.
It is not yet clear whether those reported killed and injured are civilians or military personnel.
Local congressman John Carter, speaking to NBC News, confirmed that there had been a shooting at the base, saying the gunfire had erupted during a graduation ceremony.
The BBC's Adam Brookes in Washington says there are military police and Swat teams on the scene, and the FBI is on the way. Schools in the area have also been locked down.
