Under cover of darkness and treachery, a stunned and grieving nation, reeling from the largest terrorist attack on a military base in U.S. history, was victimized and terrorized again -- but this time from a different enemy within, our elected officials. The snakes pulled a fast one on a Saturday night. Despite overwhelming and unprecedented opposition to nationalized obamacare (tea parties, town halls, 912 rallies, Bachmann's call for action) the craven statists in the House of Representatives passed the homicidal healthcare resolution. One more shackle on our necks to enslave the individual.
Instead of passing emergency legislation to protect the American people (the only real purpose of the government) from the infiltration of jihadists in the crucial institutions of national security.
Whatever happens, remember that your elected officials whom you voted for, whom you stood behind, whom you trusted, stabbed you, your children, your country in the neck.
The health care bill hands over 20% of the American economy to the quisling bloodsuckers running the country.
Ayn Rand wrote: A “mixed economy” [socialism/capitalism] is a society in the process of committing suicide.
A nation cannot survive half-slave, half-free. Consider the condition of a nation in which every other social group becomes both the slave and the enslaved of every other group. Ask yourself how long such a condition can last and what its inevitable outcome will be.
Statism is a system of perpetual civil war. And that war in a “mixed economy” takes the form of “pressure group" warfare, each group fighting for legislation to extort its own advantage by force from all other groups.
STATISM is nothing more than gang rule.

This is crazy....
RECRUITING TERRORISTS FOR THE U.S. MILITARY..
14th Annual Arab International Festival, which was held in Dearborn, Michigan from June 19 to 21
Representatives from the all branches of the U.S. Military – – Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force Armed forces – – promised American citizenship to every Mid-Eastern immigrant willing to enlist – – as long as they were Muslims – – Christians and Jews were excluded from the offer. G.I. Issued uniforms were emblazoned with Arabic script in case prospective recruits could not understand terms such as “United States Army”.

Just a "shout out" to my fellow patriots.
Thoughts please.
I was just wondering what would happen if 52% of the US voters and taxpayers "BOYCOTTED" Pelosi's pork project?
think about it.......
what if we all just......
refused to pay for it?
thoughts?

Laura:
IN order to make your idea work, those 52% would have to stick with it for a long time.
Remember Operation Rescue? The idea was to have so many people being arrested for PEACEFULLY protesting at the clinics (violence was NOT tolerated, in spite of what the state-controlled media told you) and clogging up the jails, that we would shut down the system, and they would be forced to confront the abortion issue.
The government wore down the protestors. They didn't stay with it, because the cost was very high. A friend of mine lost his job because he was in jail for peacefully protesting, and he therefore couldn't go to work. He was single. Think about the breadwinner of a family. If he (or she) spends much time in jail, and therefore loses his job, his entire family will suffer. You could lose your house due to the resultant financial pressures.
Now think of the kind of pressure they will put on someone who doesn't pay, after they have incrementally gotten everyone used to the idea of government-run health care, and dependent on it. Then they start squeezing you for the money. It will be very costly for those who persist.
I am not saying that we shouldn't do that. I'm merely describing how a similar situation played out many years ago.
Now if we ALL refuse to pay....

By the way, MY representative, "Republican" Joseph Cao, was the lone Republican who voted for the fiasco.
Why he didn't hold out for the Republican plan, I'll never know.
Surely he is aware that the Republicans were excluded from the process by the Democrats. Yet he still "put aside partisan wrangling to do the business of the people". WHAT A CHUMP!
He isn't so much a RINO as he is an incredibly naive individual.

You'll notice in the above list, in the 2nd column, near the bottom, the name "Melancon". He is Charlie Melancon, whose congressional district is just west of New Orleans, just next to Cao's. Melancon held out for a while, but in the end, he voted NO.
I understand that Senator Mary Landrieu (Democrat - Louisiana) is going to vote NO.
How is it that these loyal democrats finally vote right, but the "republican" votes wrong?

Hey, Jim, I agree-and the big problem has been organizing as us conservatives have jobs and work and such.
I don't have it to pay-and I am just saying if 52% stuck to the courage of our convictions and refused to pay-well, the federal government would be in a bit of a pickle.
We have to do something-at least I must, as I cannot in good conscience leave this mess to my son.

Laura: Well, we could repeal the 17th Amendment - put the Senate back in the hands of the states.
Seriously, though, I think things are beginning to turn around. I was very encouraged by the Tea Party movement. And the success of Sarah Palin. Particularly by the liberal reaction to her. Shows that she is definitely a winner.
If we can stop the health care bill in the Senate, I think we have a chance, because we can delay it long enough to unseat a bunch of democrats, at which point it will be dead in the water.

I just read that last night a guy who attended an SEIU meeting to expose the corruption in that union, was badly beaten up by SEIU thugs. This is the union that obama loves.
Here's a link to the story:

Speaking of Joseph Cao, I just read a very interesting comment about him at the American Thinker:
"Cao was one of only 7 Republicans to vote in favor of Joe Wilson's disapproval after the South Carolinian's outburst against Obama's SoTU speech."
I'm liking him less all the time. But if you know anything about his district (my district, by the way), you'll know that he is about the best we can hope for (I hope I'm wrong about that), because the local black political machine (Cold Cash Jefferson's machine) is gearing up for the next election. They will bring out a bunch of black preachers who will make the election of a black into a religious crusade. It was sick the way they supported a criminal do-nothing like Jefferson. I'm sure a lot of earmarks came their way, and that's why they so rabidly supported him.

Dear God, I never thought it was possible. The people said no and it still didn't matter.

PM heads to U.S. under threat of Palestinian statehood declaration
By Barak Ravid and Natasha Mozgovaya
Concerns are growing in Israel's government over the possibility of a unilateral Palestinian declaration of independence within the 1967 borders, a move which could potentially be recognized by the United Nations Security Council.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently asked the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama to veto any such proposal, after reports reached Jerusalem of support for such a declaration from major European Union countries, and apparently also certain U.S. officials.

Laura,
People who do not buy the government health plan will be fined...If they don't pay the fine then they go to jail.
So, I can see it now.....Hundreds (if not thousands) of hard-working decent Americans who never harmed a soul, never used drugs, never stole from anyone....in jail with the lowest of low lives, and all because they refused to purchase the obama health care plan.
This administration is out of their minds. They should all be given psychiatric tests...Like the ones that law enforcement officers must take in order to qualify.
I do doubt that obama, pelosi, frank, reid, etc...could pass that test.

CBo put out that the pelosi measure will cost a family $15,000 a year in Ins.
Now I am paying around $240 a month as self insured/sole proprietor.
My plan has $10,000 deductible-pelosi wants to mandate that people get insurance with a low deductible. not sure what that mandated deductible is.
BUT even if it a $2,500 deductible-my insurance will go through the roof and put me into the "Cadillac" insurance policy category AND trigger a federal tax of 40%.
yes a 40% tax on a policy I would be forced to get or be fined by pelosi.
So what is the only affordable alternative? the public plan. Which i do not want as i have always paid my own way and it's not the federal government's place to insure the world.
BUT how in the world can any person afford that public plan if it's $15,000 a year?
The federal government is trying to get blood from a turnip-with 10.2% unemployment and I am lucky to be running out the door at about poverty level.
So what do they do when people just cannot pay?-debtors prison.
yes we would be looking at debtor's prison.
In the greatest country in the world.
We have to think of a creative way to stop this nonsense. but most are so apathetic.
here are some ideas I heard-nation wide fast to protest. It's okay-a bit of a Ghandi twist to it, but I do not think it would change much.
Other idea is what if everyone in the country pulled our money out of banks on one day-heh?
Lol-problem with that one is I don't have but a pittance in my account.
If anyone has any constructive ideas-I'm game.
let's hear it -we got to do something.

If the Senate passes a bill and through the reconciliation process "Obamacare" becomes law, then our representatives will have officially abandoned all pretense to being constrained by the Constitution that they each swore an oath to protect and defend. That breaks the social compact and we the people need no longer obey their laws or submit to their authority.
"Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends [securing the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of hapiness (ownership of property)], it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it . . . . " The Declaration of Independence.
Sorry Laura - no constructive ideas here, only destructive ones. Make sure you have plenty of ammo, know who the enemy is.

There is a way to stop the madness.. OUR LAWS
What we have here is a man in the White House who is a fraud. We don't pay anything to the Government till he produces his COLB. He will fight it.
We The People can do this. We are all law abiding citizens who are facing down the enemy. Our courts cannot continue to ignore this one very important issue. They are all counting on our submission. Well, bullshit to that!!

I'm makin a list, and checkin it twice,
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice,
and the naughty ones will be expelled from the Congress of the USA for ever and ever, never to return. Maybe banished from the shores of the land they betrayed. Why is it so difficult for these imbeciles to realize, that they are not sitting in that holy institution to do the will of the president, not even of their party, they are there solely as representatives of those who elected them, and they are duty-bound to do the will of the people who entrusted them with this mission. It's very simple. The PEOPLE do not want Obama's bloody Healthcare Bill. Period.

How many American citizens would it take to mobilize a successful blockade of Capitol Hill in full session with a second blockade at the White House? How many Americans would it take to provide a support base (providing food, clothing changes and a medic). On 9-12 we came pretty close to coming up with sufficient manpower to pull this off. Where am I going with this??
We COULD if we got enough people together (several MILLION--on 9-12 we got 2 million) blockade the executive branch of DC until it repealed all offending legislation put forth by Obama and his administration (or until these people run out of food and water). We have legal grounds for such an act: grand theft of US citizens' possessions (YOUR money is your property and don't let anyone tell you otherwise) by the Obama Administration officials.
The fed WILL fight us tooth and nail, I am certain of that. But if we have enough people blockading the Capitol and the White House they won't be able to take us out. We could keep the thieves of capitol Hill locked in their buildings until they decide to repeal their offensive legislations OR until they run out of food and water (at which point we can repeal the legislations ourselves without them, as they will be in so shape to fight us off...hell we can ever burn Nazi Lugosi's 1990 page bill).
