Political correctness is going to rout this country. The jihadi who mowed down scores at Fort Hood was an adviser to the Homeland Security Policy Institute's presidential transition task force. This was at the same time that the DHS was writing reports that right wing extremists like Grandma, Veterans, tea parties, patriots were the real threat. And Hasan had a jihad history.

The gunman who killed 12 people today at Ft. Hood appears, based on current media reports, to be Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan who was listed as a participant in a Homeland Security Policy Institute's presidential transition task force last year.

The task force was not officially affiliated with the White House. It was a project of the Homeland Security Policy Institute, an independent thinktank housed at George Washington University, aimed at drafting policy recommendations for the incoming Obama administration.

According to the task force's May 2009 report [pdf], a "Nidal Hasan" from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine was a task force event participant. Other participants included Senate and House staffers, Department of Homeland Security officials, Defense Department officials, and reporters for Politico, the Washington Post, and the London Times....

This is not the first incident where a muslim in the military murdered American soldiers. There was an incident in Iraq when a sergeant used a granade. I think that most of us here know what a huge part of the problem is, PC language. They are so afraid, just totally scared to death of calling something what it really is, meaning evil, terrorism, Jihad, etc.

While it may be ironic that Major Hasan's profession was as a psychiatrist, what if he was suffering from a inherited genetic/mental defect? No, I'm not a lawyer testing a possible defense strategy, but it is plausible that as a result of the strict tribalism predominant in the Middle East and Muslim countries which emphasizes tribally cohesive practices like cousin marriages that Muslims tend to be more prone to genetic and mental defects-50% cousin marriage rates in places like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Pakistan. In this case mental illness among Muslims is more likely than Americans or Europeans.

Hasan volunteered ( or was drafted ) to the US Army to perform his duty with his heart and soul ! He gave an oath !
A a soldier, he is expected to give all he has to protect his fellow comrades even at the cost of HIS life !

It's my understanding that Hasan was not drafted, that he volunteered. But what he is not is a natural-born U.S. citizen. Why? While he was born in VA, his parents were not. Per the NBC issue, and you'll understand it more when studied, he can't ever be an NBC because it's the second generation born in this country who becomes one. It's because of your parents.

I hope this link works. It's to an AP story describing Nidal Hasan saying his good-byes to neighbors. According the the story, he wasn't necessarily shipping out immediately but was rather in a process of praparation for deployment.
"Army spokeswoman Col. Cathy Abbott was uncertain when Hasan was to leave but he was in the preparation stage of deployment, which can take months.
And yet he gave his landlord notice two weeks ago that he was moving out of his apartment this week.

They should have been watching this guy more closely, and it's not simply hindsight - the signs, strong ones, were all there.

Surly you know better than I that the Israeli Druze have been Loyal to Israel since before Independence and are among the IDF'S Greatest "Lions" .

Whether Hasan was PLANTED and "Nurtured" as a "Sleeper Agent" by any Nation or Group,HOPEFULLY we Shall soon know.
