Speculation could potentially heighten backlash
against some of our Muslim soldiers and what happened at Fort Hood was
a tragedy, but I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our
diversity becomes a casualty here.
Diversity as a casualty would be an "even greater tragedy" than the casualties of this act of war on American soil. I cannot believe what I am reading. It was not a tragedy, it was an terrorist attack. This is Obama's military command?
Would Patton have recruited nazis into his army? I ask you. I warned Atlas readers that the dhimmi response to the biggest terrorist attack on a army base in US history would not be to galvanize the American people, elected officials or law enforcement. Instead, I said, the response would be disastrous. Instead of taking the enemy on, calling it what it is and taking offensive measures against a mortal enemy that has vowed our destruction, we submit.
I predicted that the military would recruit more Muslims in a ignorant attempt to show there would be no Muslim backlash. And so it is. General Casey sets the stage for a suicidal dhimmitude that will compromise the greatest military strength in the world. Think about that.
Every time there is an Islamic attack on America, Islam advances. America recedes. Americans are murdered, shot in the back, and CAIR gets a platform on FOX, MPAC gets a shout out on O'Reilly, and we bend a little bit more to Islam while Muslims admonish Americans for a potential backlash.
They are setting the stage for rivers of blood. This is so terrible. The more you appease, the more horrific the end result will be. If Hitler had been stopped at Czechoslovakia, think of all the incomprehensible bloodshed and loss of life that would have been spared. The more you give into evil, the greater the consequences. Evil has no depth, no bottom .............
Army chief fears backlash for Muslim U.S. soldiers
"I'm concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers. And I've asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that," Casey told CNN's "State of the Union."
There are about 3,000 Muslims on active duty military service or in the National Guard or reserve forces, Casey said. They remain a small minority within the U.S. military.
A Fort Hood official has said Hasan yelled "Allahu Akbar" -- Arabic for "God is Greatest" -- just before the shooting in which 13 people were killed and 30 wounded. The 39-year-old U.S. Army psychiatrist was shot four times by police. He was hospitalized but no longer needed a ventilator to breathe.
Ft. Hood: Gen. Casey Doesn't Rule Out Terrorism George S, ABC News
The Army’s top officer, General George Casey wouldn’t rule out the possibility that the mass killing at Ft. Hood was an act of terrorism. I asked General Casey about warning signs that could have been acted upon and if this was a premeditated act of terrorism or if this is a case of someone who just snapped. Casey said, “I think we need to be very careful here on speculations based on anecdotes like that.”
“We all want to know what happened and what motivated the suspect, but I think we need to be very, very careful here in these early days and let the investigation take its course,” Casey told me on ‘This Week.’
General Casey told me on This Week that he’s worried that diversity could become another victim of Thursday’s mass killing at Ft. Hood. The incident was not the first case of fratricide by a Muslim and when I asked how the military plans to deal with this potential problem in its ranks, Casey said, “Speculation could potentially heighten backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers and what happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy, but I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here. It’s not just about Muslims, we have a very diverse army, we have very diverse society and that gives us all strength. But again we need to be very careful about that.”

More insanity: Homeland chief warns against anti-Muslim backlash (AP)
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — The U.S. Homeland Security secretary says she is working to prevent a possible wave of anti-Muslim sentiment after the shootings at Fort Hood in Texas.
Janet Napolitano says her agency is working with groups across the United States to try to deflect any backlash against American Muslims following Thursday's rampage by Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim who reportedly expressed growing dismay over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The shootings left 13 people dead and 29 wounded.
