It appears that muslims will do whatever they can to prevent other muslims from having the basic human right of practicing the religion of their choice, and for muslimas, marrying the man of their choice.

Today in a newspaper in Sweden's (famous) third largest city, Malmoe (famous for riots, antisemitism and that a large part of the population born i foreign countries), a school welfare officer was interviewed. She intervened against a child marriage and is therefor under death threat from the girl's father. The situation is the same for lots of girls who are threatened by child marriage (and/or mutilation, I guess). The school welfare officer says in the end of the article: "- Unfortunately the threats are likely to work. There is a greater fear of taking action against families where one knows that violence is part of everyday life. It is a threat to democracy."
