If you were the commander of a military base, what would you now do differently?

This is a question **I HOPE** is being considered by many base commanders at this moment. Recruitment of Muslims has proven to be a “double-edged sword” (NPI). What needs to be done differently to avoid a repeat of the Fort Hood attack?

First, within the scope of authority I am granted, I would modify the “cultural sensitivity training” mandated by the military to include greater recognition of signs of odd behavior and political discontent as exceptions to the mandate that everyone is benign and must be respected as equals.

I would especially assure that officer and senior NCO training include “signs of discontent, disloyalty, erratic behavior, anti-war sentiment, moodiness, aloofness, etc.” and courses of counseling and potential discharge as the military solution to these problems.

While others besides Muslims are capable of psychotic behavior, I would recognize that Muslims are in fact taught what we consider to be “psychotic behavior” as part of their “religious” training. With this in mind, I would assure that my key leaders were fully aware of the teachings and track record of Islam (or what is politically correctly called “radical Muslims”) in this nation. I’m sure there are abundant FBI reports available that reveal the anti-American, anti-“infidel” (“people of the book”: Jews and Christians) teachings of Islam in most Mosques of America.

I would establish a program that assures that anyone with identified “issues” is assigned two or three other trusted individuals in their unit to “buddy-up” with, befriend, or otherwise make it their business to know what is going on in the disturbed persons personal life and mind – as part of a limited evaluation period.

So many signs were missed with Hasan. Why? Mostly due to excessive political correctness, excessive and wrong-headed cultural sensitivity training, and excessive ignorance about the nature and teaching of Islam in this country, all of which mis-programmed coworkers into ignoring the many clear warning signs that were displayed.

But I’m wondering how far up the military food chain these changes would have to go to receive approval. I envision a plethora of bureaucratic, politically/legally-correct and diversity-centric road blocks.

I spent a few hours on the Military.com discussion boards last night - a site where those interested in military-related issues share their thoughts. I posted my concerns about political correctness, and our obsession with cultural diversity and "respecting everything." It didn't take two minutes, even on that site, for Islamic apologists to come out of the woodwork and use every trite, illogical anti-Christian moral equivalency they can find, from McVeigh (who was not a Christian), to abortion, to the Old Testament, to the Crusades - and every misdirection, half-tuth, red herring, exaggeration, etc. you can imagine. I am more convinced that it is a waste of time to try to educate their warped minds - we need to just focus on educating our own.

From what I heard Dr. Phil was apologizing for dr hasan, then the producers had the nerve to cut off a combat veteran from the audience who knows about Real PTSD. Tell the sponsors to get this disgusting fraud (Phil) off the air or face a nationwide boycott!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SWEAR AT phil.

Audio needs to be compiled of muslim crybabies making whining excuses after each and every muslim atrocity!

Asleep at the wheel brought us Sept.11,Political correctness brought us thousands of unnecessary troop deaths. Political correctness brought us the muslim soldier who threw a grenade into an officers' tent. Political correctness brought us Ft.Hood. Last but not least, white guilt and liberal stupidity brought us the enemy in the white house.

Richard

Oh yeah, McVeigh and moral equivalency. Do the talking heads who pull that one out of their ass even know he was backed by Islamic terrorists?

Anyway, the subject of this post, silence out of fear of seeming bigoted, points out the dire need this country has for our own Geert Wilders. If someone of his stature in the American politic were to eloquently counter the constant barrage of PC/MC bandini were are constanlty exposed to then we the people would be far better able to deal honestly with the very real problem of advancing Islamification. Too many people fear to even recognize it. It's not invisible peeps - see it - call it out!

Related to the issue of PC diversity-mania is that of intimidation. So far the MSM has been focused on the alleged "harassment" of Hasan by other military personnel. Having seen this sort of crap go down before, I would suggest to the pundits the most of the harassment and indeed intimidation was directed not at Hasan but at those of his fellow soldiers who dared to question his attitude and behavior. How many were threatened with discipline, demotion, and lawsuits? How many soldiers returning from the front and truly suffering from PTSD were subjected to mental abuse and harassment from this monster and were helpless to do anything about it?

If the people you are talking to are too damn lazy to pick up a book and learn the truth about Islam, at least give them the jihadwatch.org site address and tell them to click on ISLAM 101. Take them about 1/2 hour to get their eyes wide opened.

And Richard makes a good point in that even though McVeigh "pulled the trigger" at Oklahoma City there is abundant evidence to suggest that both he and Nichols were backed and trained by ME Islamists.

Greetings:

The fact that the leaders of the “Western” democracies refuse to attack Islam as the supremacist ideology that it is guarantees that we will all be reliving the Fort Hood experience in the future. That no one national leader is willing to stand up and say look at the hate and violence that is encouraged in their Koran and that Islam puts the non-Muslim population of the world at risk as long as it is allowed to spread unchallenged and uncontrolled.

twitter.com/HereticsCrusade

This is the fruit of the PC mentality. OR should I say disease?

We have been examining this malady over at Heretics Crusade.

NoHammerNoSickl

We need to speak out or we will find ourselves under a Muslim caliphate and if/when that happens, our traditions of liberty will be a thing of the past.

I agree with all of this, although, I think we have a Muslim usurper in the White House, and, pc will not allow the Congress to force the showing of his records, or even question his being born in Hawaii, or force the Judges all the way up to the Supreme Court to question him. More will die because of it. This incident at Fort Hood, is only the beginning unless someone grows a pair, and forces Obama to cough up his records.

In a culture of leader worship, the lower-level leaders come to value only power and forget the underlings. When people look to canned electronic and other media to tell them how to behave, they lose their natural survival instinct. (read that last night and makes sense to me!) My Sunday paper's second section has small headline to the effect that no matter what the motive it makes sense to question the way the military treats the RoP. It's telling us what to think: doesn't matter what the motive was; and it thinks RoP is being mistreated. At least it was a paper that carried Obsession the movie. So last fall there were still some brain cells working there

"Damned if you do,.. Damned if you don't"..., a euphemism that describes two equally repulsive choices, neither of which resulting in a positive outcome...

damned if you don't =

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 11/5/09) - A prominent national Muslim civil rights and advocacy group tonight condemned an attack on Fort Hood military base in Texas that left at least 12 people dead.
In a statement, the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said:
We condemn this cowardly attack in the strongest terms possible..... blah blah blah >>>

Damned if you do =

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 10/20/09) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today hailed what it called a “victory for justice and civil rights” in the case of the six imams, or Islamic religious leaders, who said their rights were violated...

Two equally repulsive choices???? NO
The the cost of the "WE Don'T" out weights "WE DO"

If you see something...REPORT IT !!! SCREW CAIR!!!

Josef K

.

Surprise, surprise...

Sen. Joseph Lieberman said Sunday he intends to launch a Senate committee hearing on whether the Fort Hood shootings were a terrorist act and if the Army should have taken pre-emptive steps due to reported signs of Islamic extremism by the suspected gunman.

"I'm intending to begin a congressional investigation of my Homeland Security Committee into what were the motives of (Maj. Nidal Malik) Hasan in carrying out this mass murder," the Connecticut independent, who belongs to the Democratic caucus, said on "FOX News Sunday."

SOURCE

Thank you, Senator Lieberman. Leave it to the Jews to save the world and restore justice.

Jokerman

I couldn't agree with all of you more, especially Joe's (above) "If you see something REPORT IT! SCREW CAIR!"

This is our lives and the lives of our families we're talking about, and this islamic bullshit must stop.

When I was a kid in NY we were all afraid of this guy known as "The Mad Bomber." He was front page news forever and it shocked the nation. Now, this kind of rampant murdering is commonplace and interest in it dies as quickly as it occurs.

I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK AND TO HELL WITH CAIR AND LIBERALS AND ANY OTHER DHIMMIS WHO DISAGREE WITH ME!

For the record, Richard, we HAVE our own Geert Wilders. . . her name is Pamela Geller! And then there's Robert Spencer, and Wafa Sultan and on and on. Let's be sure to support all of these great Americans.

There's something seriously weird about the Hasan jihad attack. He used a Belgian-made FN 5-7, a high-powered gun available generally only to SWAT teams and other high-security personnel, like the Secret Service. It uses armor-piercing bullets, which is how police officer Kim Munley was shot by Hasan straight through both legs. There would be virtually no way for him to get this gun as it is not available like a Glock or other popular guns. How would he have obtained a gun like that? Could this terrible terrorist atrocity have been a set-up? He was part of a transition team and present among Obama's people. Dear Leader's behavior was tellingly strange, too. Why would he babble for over 2 minutes before lamely addressing the horrific event? Why was he so off-handed? Why did he go off to Camp David? Why would the House convene to vote on the health care bill as the worst terrorist incident on US soil since 9/11 occurred? Questions have to be asked. What is going on?

Laura Liebman

Our soldiers get slaughtered on our own soil because of the insane policy of political correctness which has allowed muslim enemies to infiltrate our armed forces and beyond that ignored the blatant warning signs that we had an enemy within the ranks out of fear that acting on it might cause them to be accused of bigotry.

Despite an abundance of evidence that this was an islamic jihad attack, government officials are sticking by their talking points of not jumping to conclusions. Now General Casey made that point this morning. Making sure this doesn't taint the other muslim soldiers is the convoluted priority of those who are in charge of protecting America.

And now apparently PTS is contagious. Not having served in combat, the media spin is that he acquired it from other soldiers he was "treating". This is the most absurd thing I have heard yet. This is the lengths to which the moonbats will go to in order to avoid having to admit this was a muslim terrorist attack. And anyone who points out the obvious is regarded as a "racist" and admonished as "the worst person in the world" by the likes of that degenerate low-life skunk, keith olbermann.

WAKE UP

Here's the thing: this scenario will be being played out all over the Western world right now, not just in the Army but in hospitals, schools and local councils, and in business and politics. EVERYBODY is too shit-scared to tell these insane motherfuckers the truth about themselves. This guy was a Muslim psychiatrist? Spare me. It's so tragic it's not even funny.

joe-six-pack

Guy DeWhitney: "We need to speak out or we will find ourselves under a Muslim caliphate and if/when that happens, our traditions of liberty will be a thing of the past."

We need to wage offensive warfare. Our overall stratgic position is now defensive. It sucks playing defense in war.

Warren

I can not help but wonder how someone with the rank of Major could have any idea of what harassment is. I spent most of my enlistment as a PFC and later as a Specialist E4. Believe me, I wasn't harassing any Majors. In the army rank is just about everything and the only people who could have been harassing this guy would be Colonels and Generals.

Fox had two of the retired military contributors on who were anything but sympathetic to this character. One said that he would be among the privilege class in the military. He had received an unfavorable review which would have made him stick out like a sore thumb among officers of his rank. Colonel Ralph Peters said that there was more than enough cause for him to be cashiered out of the army.

The truly scary thing is that it seems there is no-one left in a position of authority fighting for the good guys these days.

Even George W. Bush, representing the last semblance of conservatism in U.S. leadership, misled the American people about the nature of Islam.
Religion of peace, my arse.

And we wonder how the American people could vote for Barack Hussein Obama.
It's almost like Bush's presidency was a setup for Obama's.
One thing's for sure: Obama could never have become President without Bush as predecessor.
The people had been programmed by the media to believe Bush's policies were monstrous; that Islam was a religion of peace; and the people were thoroughly sick of it all.

Then, bingo!
Out of nowhere came a man to fight for diversity, multiculturalism and the socialist way: Barack Hussein(man, he was even born a Muslim *swoon*) Obama.
This is seriously spooky.

twitter.com/uncivilized01

This is what "political correctness" gets you.
And, the problem is...NOTHING will change, even after Ft. Hood. We mustn't anger the Muslims. We mustn't offend the Muslims. We mustn't even point out when a Muslim is behaving strangely, or performing poorly...for if we do, we might bring down the wrath of the PC Police, or make ourselves appear intolerant.
Well, you know something??? I AM intolerant. I'm intolerant of people who hide behind their religion, who use it as a means to promote hatred of the country I was born in and love. I'm intolerant of people who place ideology above everything else. I'm damned intolerant of people who shoot up American soldiers in the name of "allah".
I guess that makes me a racist bigot. I've been called worse.

Mike_W

"I guess that makes me a racist bigot. I've been called worse."

No Margaret, that makes you a patriot.

Mongol

Islam is the most violent, suppressive, bigoted and racist excuse for a religion on the face of the earth.

Fuck Diversity, Fuck islam, and Fuck CAIR! We can get along just fine without any of these, and America can only survive if we put an end to all three of these!

James

It is easy to be critical of those who are afraid to raise their politically incorrect concerns in the workplace. The truth is their fear of retaliation is well grounded in reality.

It is quite evident to me that following the Fort Hood shootings that FBI wasted no time at all in trying to cover up or gloss over the fact that the shooter was a devout Muslim with connections to a Radical Mosque in Falls Church Virginia.

Why is the FBI aiding abetting the enemy? Don't you find that suspicious? It seems to me that those who have the timerity to point out these truths which are hiding in plain sight (much like the proverbial Emporer who has no clothes) do risk being ostracized and label potential (right wing) terrorists themselves.

Most people do not want to place themselves or their families under this kind of scutiny. Most people do not care to be the targets of retaliation. You have to have the courage of a Whistle Blower to make such a sacrifice and Whistle Blowers are few and far between I'm afraid.

Ayn Rand at 100: "Yours is the Glory"

  • Aynrandstamp_1

  • Speaking to the unnamed, unchampioned, beating heart of her new land, Ayn was to say: 'Yours is the glory.'"
A man whose ability and independence leads others to reject him, but who perseveres nevertheless to achieve his values. Man as an individual, as a creator. What's the most depraved type of human being? Not a sadist or a murderer or a sex maniac or a dictator; "The man without a purpose." Yet most people seem to go through their lives without a clearly defined purpose.
