It was a triumph for free speech tonight at Columbia University. Despite resistance from Columbia University administration and Columbia security efforts to limit access to the event, Wilders packed the house and was allowed to speak freely.

I watched Wilders this evening and reflected upon the whole journey that got this man to this moment. I was so grateful to this man for taking on this global encroaching monster against all odds. I have uploaded his remarks. Watch the videos. There was a little hissing and a random heckle, but they let him speak -- and in the age of jihad that is huge.

And it was good.

I watched the whole thing and I thought Geert was superb. He didn't say anything I didn't already know, having seen "Fitna" quite a number of times. But it was good.

The "puppet kids" during the questions and answers section at the end, did their best to ask questions with an air of ridicule and were somewhat incredulous, but it hardly stood up, I did notice several of the audience members looked really really scared, as if their whole idea of what they thought the utopian world was like, got turned upside down. One woman questioner at the end who said she was from Europe seemed so horrified that she simply "Didn't want to believe", she clearly was in a state of denial. But she was scared...... and she should be.

I noticed the photo of the Jihad Rabbi, I made the connection to Sunday's video in which he appeared. He's a total nut job. Oh my God what a schmuck this guy is! If he was in a nazi concentration camp, he would be the first guy into the ovens, telling everyone that the oven was a perfectly safe public shower!

Took a peak at Loonwatch.com. What a bunch of assholes these people are. When all else fails resort to ridicule. The site equates Robert Spencer, Pamela, Geert, and everyone else doing this important work, to the level of UFO conspiracy kooks. They themselves are kooks. I did a WHOIS search on their domain name and the owner registration came out to an address located in Scottsdale Arizona. Not far from Area 51, what a bunch of destructive "wing nuts".

But again I would like to say great job Pamela!

Before the advent of mass communication, it was easier for Islamic clerics to fool people, particularly people from western democratic countries, that Islam was just wonderful and misunderstood. They can't do that anymore. People can read the Islamic texts for themselves. They can see what Islamic clerics are spouting on YouTube videos. And yes, once they read, once they see, they are indeed horrified. More and more people know and more and more people are demanding action from elected political leaders.

Wilders is magnificent. I only nit pik two points - 1. Disagree that the Left was the original guardian and advocate of civil rights and free speech. These fundamental rights have always been trounced by Leftists, defended by the Right - even as today. 2. Agree that our free governments are a mix of Judeo-Christian and Humanist elements - but the Humanist element is largely the destructive poison in the mix. The Humanist idea that man is the measure of all things and is able freely to bring about utopia without God or without moral law, in its unadulterated form, always evolves into a oppressive, totalitarian / socialist nightmare of mass misery and murder. Do we really wonder what would happen if "there was no God in Israel [or Netherlands or America] and every man did what was right in his own eyes"?

May these beautiful young people wake up, look around, and see the unprecedented and precious freedoms that could disappear in their lifetimes!

At the beginning of the second video, at about the six second mark, Wilders mentions that Mohammad was a pedophile. Audible in the background, a young female voice musters a meager "Hey!" in opposition.
Amusing. Assuming this was one of the muslimas in attendance attempting to defend the indefensible character of Mohammad, and guessing that most in attendance were students -though speculation - I bet she was unmarried and over 18. Chaste? Who knows. But the fact that she was in attendance, and not barefoot and pregnant or nursing the latest edition to a slew of pious devotees of this pedophile presented quite the irony. Following such a hideously perfect model as Mohammad, she should have been married off at half her age. So much for her piety.

Congratulation to Geert for his tireless efforts, and let’s hope through him more people wake up for longer than it takes to yawn and roll over, to recognise and take positive action against the insidious threat of radical Islam to our lives and lifestyle.

I largely agree with Geert (and other “bigoted right wing” commentators) in his call to the free world, though with a reservation on a misleading point which he (and they) appear happy to endorse by repetition.

Geert's speech concluded with proposals designed to stem the influence of radical Islam within free societies. One of his proposals was that Muslims living in the West and enjoying its freedoms and values, lifestyle and opportunity, should fairly integrate as good citizens, accept our culture and lifestyle rather than impose theirs upon us, and renounce the supremacy of Islam and its holy texts that promote violence or a compulsion to dominate the world. Briefly, Muslims wishing to integrate and be part of progress are welcome to stay and enjoy what our democracies have to offer, and the others will be legally denaturalised and expelled with or without compensation.

This is a fine sound bite, though it conceals a short-sighted, naïve, and dangerous proposal. Coming from Geert of all people, it is also a warning that we may already be too late, and that our best shot in confronting the scourge within the constraints of democratic nicety is more appeasement as we hand over to the State of Islam the shackles with which it has declared its intent to enslave us. In return, we hope they will generously defer capitulation and bondage, and don’t really mind that future generations will revile our complacency.

Does anyone seriously believe an Islamist faced with the choice of a false pledge of allegiance, or exposure and expulsion and forfeiture of rights and a cushy life for the reality of a dustbowl and Sharia back home, would grapple with his conscience?

Sure, under a regime of allegiance or expulsion, from tens of millions of Muslims there may be at most a handful of principled, unthinking, radical exhibitionists that may eventually be expelled after running time consuming, expensive and highly propagandised rings around our political and judicial systems. The overwhelming majority of radicals would expeditiously swear unbinding allegiance to any flag or country, in return that we open our arms and accept them and trust them as good citizens with permission to stay and live under our protection of freedoms to strike at our way of life in their own time and way. The real danger may be to his civil rights, as he splutters and chokes on laughter at the naiveté of a fat and complacent society.

There is nothing profound in the above scenario; it is any woolly liberal minded contradiction that would struggle for validation.

Islam not only sanctions but demands from all good Muslims deceit and duplicity against the unbeliever. This instruction can be traced back to the siege of Banu Nadir. Intending to engage the Banu Nadir, Mohamed ordered his men to kill several of their most prominent Jews, and expected some form of retaliation which could be held up as provocation. When no response came, Mohamed received a fortuitous ‘revelation’ from Allah that the Banu Nadir were plotting to kill him. In retaliation, he laid siege to their community. As the siege wore on his resources, Mohamed offered the elders safe escort from their fortress under a truce, with promises of peace talks. Once away from their fortress, the elders were slaughtered by their escort, the community taken, males slaughtered and women and other property taken by the invaders.

This and similar early accounts stamped upon Muslims the virtue of deceit against the unbeliever.

On a side note, Islam also offers Muslims immunity from prosecution for the most serious offences they commit against Islam, where those offences are committed with intent to ultimately benefit Islam or harm the unbeliever, which is the same thing. In other words, a Muslim inside a mosque may eat pork, get drunk, and demonstrate his homosexuality whilst reviling the Koran, and if this is part of his deceit against the unbeliever he will be not just forgiven but rewarded with a ticket to eternal bliss.

Satisfaction with an oath of allegiance to a country or politic over the ideology of Islam, as part of that ideology, is a hopeless charade.
