A former Marine Corps captain with combat experience in Iraq, Hoh had also served in uniform at the Pentagon, and as a civilian in Iraq and at the State Department. By July, he was the senior U.S. civilian in Zabul province, a Taliban hotbed.

But last month, in a move that has sent ripples all the way to the White House, Hoh, 36, became the first U.S. official known to resign in protest over the Afghan war, which he had come to believe simply fueled the insurgency.

I have been saying it for months now: that Obama's policies are sending our boys and girls to be slaughtered. The enemy in the White House strikes again.
Obama said that victory is not the goal. Then why risk American lives? Why put our boys and girls in harm's way of the brutal jihad with no clearly stated goal? Why is Obama adding thousands of our military personnel to the Afghan theater of operations, poorly equipping them and strangling the rules of engagement? They will be captured or killed to what end? Without a clear goal, Obama will prove we can't win.

8 US troops die; new deadliest month in Afghan war AP

KABUL — Eight American troops were killed in two separate insurgent attacks Tuesday in southern Afghanistan, making October the deadliest month of the war for U.S. forces since the 2001 invasion to oust the Taliban.

In one of the insurgent assaults, seven Americans were killed while patrolling in armored vehicles, U.S. forces spokesman Lt. Col. Todd Vician said. He said an Afghan civilian died in the same attack. The eighth American was killed in a separate attack elsewhere in the south, also while patrolling in a military vehicle, he said.

The military issued a statement saying the deaths occurred during "multiple, complex" bomb strikes. It said several troops were wounded and evacuated to a nearby medical facility, but gave no other details.

The deaths bring to 55 the total number of American troops killed in October in Afghanistan. The previous high occurred in August, when 51 U.S. soldiers died and the troubled nation held the first round of its presidential elections amid a wave of Taliban insurgent attacks.

The loss of life followed one of the worst days of the war for U.S. forces in Afghanistan since they launched air strikes in 2001 to oust the Taliban from power.

Our soldiers are dying because Congress is more concerned about not rocking the imposter Presidential boat, versus standing along side our military. The entire Congress knows Barack Hussein is Kenyan/Indonesian, and they say NOTHING! According to traitor McCain on Sunday, it was a dangerous place before General McChrystal requested more troops, and we have to support the enemy/President! Bush did go there to crush our enemies...at first. Then something happened to him in the name of politically correct. And that's why our troops died and are dying now. Politically Correct. We are not allowed to fight a war the way a war should be fought. And after the last shot is fired. We build the enemies brand new houses.Feed them so they are free to consider their next attack on us. Pure and simple stupidity.

And Obama...he is a clueless fool or so it appears. Nope he is not. He is following his agenda all the way. The war is not on his radar it is simply a distraction and a bump in the way OF his agenda.
