This video is a bombshell.
I have to tip my hat to John Ziegler, who called out conservative has-been American Conservative Union (CPAC) president, David Keene, on his abandonment of conservative principles. It is a beautiful thing -- honest journalism. This is the same David Keene who caved to Grover Norquist's pressure instead of having Geert Wilders speak at CPAC last year -- despite freedom of speech being the bedrock of conservative principles. Keene is tight with Islamist Grover Norquist, which is why Islamic supremacism is never discussed at CPAC anymore. Yes, the head of the conservative movement is a house slave to Grover. We have been infiltrated by the stealth jihad.
Ziegler writes, "to me, now more than ever, the conservative movement must purge itself of those in its 'leadership' who are not worthy of the cause they claim to champion. Over the past year I have begun to suspect that David Keene, the head of the American Conservative Union and the Chairman of CPAC (the largest annual gathering of conservatives) may fit into this category".
Jim is at Western CPAC and writes,
Author, broadcaster and filmmaker (Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted) John Ziegler was kicked out of the Western Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday after his interview with American Conservative Union, David Keene.
After John Ziegler pressed Keane on his reporting on Sarah Palin and the FedEx controversy. According to HotAir the American Conservative Union attempted to get Federal Express to pay millions of dollars to engage the ACU on their behalf over a political fight with UPS on legislation under consideration on Capitol Hill. The Politico also reported on this controversy. David Keane did not want to talk about it yesterday with John Ziegler.
Keane called Ziegler an a-hole and threatened to hit him.
John Ziegler
wrote all about the confrontation on his
website.
The third video is just
crazy. John Ziegler gets insulted and kicked out of the conference.
Keane,
who was a big supporter of Arlen Spector, talks about supporting true
conservatives and “not selling out” during his lunch speech… Then the organizers
bash Ziegler from the stage and aggressively escort him out of the building even
though he was one of the vendors at the event.
What an embarrassment.
In this first video John Ziegler sits down with David Keane for an interview.
This leads up to the second video where David Keane calls John Ziegler an a-hole and threatens to hit him.
The Republican old guard is in for a rude awakening.

pamela:
bomb shell.
just one heck of a story.
i was at c.pac. in washington d.c. in february, and attended geert wilder's speech which you presented, and it was one of the very outstanding events of the c.pac. conference.
only it wasn't.
because c.pac. did not have geert wilders speak before a c.pac. audience. c.pac. had an opportunity to present the central figure in the fight for european free speech, and the right of euro's to speak out against muslim immigration, a highly regulated topic of conversation in europe, and c.pac. passed on the chance to have a true champion of liberty appear before us.
pamela geller did not pass on this chance, did she? did you? laughing.
pamela rented another ballroom in the same building as the c.pac. conference, and presented geert wilders before a wildly enthusiastic and raucous audience after most of the c.pac. events were finished. perhaps john bolton's event was more widely attended, and rush limbaugh's, perhaps, ... , but no event the entire conference was as boisterous, as raucous, or as enthusiastically welcoming of a speaker as was geert wilders' event. pamela geller gave the last speech of introduction before wilders spoke, and by the time she was done, people were clapping for wilders, stomping their feet, and yelling his welcome to the united states.
wilders is not political virgin, not by a long shot, and dutch politics are tough politics. (as, for that matter, is anything involving more than two dutch people. they are stubborn.) geert wilders was visibly moved, somewhat shaken, by the welcome he received.
pamela geller realized the significance of wilders' battle in holland.
pamela geller understood the importance of this euro free speech issue, which is occurring within the context of "hate speech" legislation, and within the context of laws which prohibit citizens from speaking out against governmental laws on islamic immigration. she understood the significance of championing a truly monumental figure like wilders in this country, when radical leftist elements in this society, ... , call them obama and the democratic congress, ... , want to pass and enforce similar legislative acts which would muzzle our ability to speak, and which would contravene our rights and liberties under the constitution and bill or rights.
pamela geller did.
c.pac., in the agency of messers keane and norquist did not. they turned down one of the most significant figures in the first part of this century, in terms of his personal fight against prosecution and legal impediments to voice his political beliefs, they turned this gentleman down at a conservative's conference when from all appearances it looks like he could have appeared.
either messers keane and norquist did not understand contemporary political events in the conservative world sufficiently well to understand the significance of being able to secure wilders to speak before their convention, or they decided in secret to try and prevent him for advancing his message to american conservative. either they were kind of stupid, putting it rather mildly, or they chose to suppress and censor his views, which would have been extremely stupid, and evil, again putting it rather mildly.
in either event, messers keane and noquist were horribly out of touch with the wishes of those in attendance at the conference, and most conference attendees were very agitated and upset with keane and norquist at the contents of the program, feeling that it did not address the issues presented by the election of barack obama and his democratic minions in congress. and, most attendees were very upset that geert wilders was not given a chance to appear before them, as a c.pac. sponsored speaker.
it is this lack of contact with mainstream conservative thought that mr. ziegler sought to explore in his interviews. obviously, mr. keane did not see the necessity of explaining himself to anybody not as august as himself.
the questions must be posed, as pamela geller and mr. ziegler have posed them? should men who are not in touch, be allowed to exerted unquestioned, and more importantly, unquestioning control, of the conservative movement, and of its interface with partisan republican politics.
the wilders episode at c.pac. illustrates that they simply don't understand the contemporary world. not in the slightest.
but, back to mr. wilders' speech.--
he sure as hell appeared in the building in an event sponsored by pamela geller and others, even though not provided that venue by c.pac. he was ready, willing and able to speak, and boy howdy did he.
but, messers keane and noquist were not ready to comprehend the significance of having a man like wilders in the building, and speaking to the assembled persons, conservatives all. this is almost unforgivable, that they simply did not understand this. sort of like turning down george washington in 1776 at a political convention. just about as monumental a misjudgment, and reflective of how out of touch these men are.
so, i think what has transpired between mr. keane and mr. ziegler is terribly important to american conservatives, and to the future of basic liberties such as freedom of assembly and freedom of speech, the world over. trust me when i say, that in europe political groups not supported by the governments of cities and countries are restrained from free assembly, and banned from the political process if they transgress established rules of conduct and the content & merit of their speech.
friends.
there is no free speech and free assembly in europe, unless it meets governmental, and that means leftist party, approval.
we are dangerously in peril of this same condition obtaining in this country, if individuals like keane and norquist inhibit and prevent men such as geert wilders from obtaining the opportunity to express their views.
now, it so happens that grover norquist is married to a muslim woman. is it possible, is it just possible, that geert wilders was not deemed suitable to appear before c.pac. and explain his views on muslim immigration in europe; on the hate speech legislation that bars him from saying any "derrogatory" about muslims (and, be aware, there are no set standards of speech, their is only ad hoc and ex post facto enforcement and prosecution); and from showing his film "fitna," which is actually so bold, ... , shocker, as pamela would say, as to show and quote actual and legitimate passages from the koran, and then to juxtapose images of muslims acting in conformity with the instructions of the koran? for this film, wilders was prosecuted. not for not telling the truth. heavens no. but for telling the truth in a fashion that some european bureaucrat found violative of the law after the fact.
this is what is in store in america, if we are not vigalent.
it has happened in canada. mark steyn was prosecuted in a court there, for quoting a muslim cleric on the aims of the jihad, and was sued by three canadian law students, muslim, not because what he said falsely depicted either the cleric or islam, but because he depicted it to accurately, causing alarm to the three muslims who sued him. he prevailed, but not without expense.
it is against this backdrop that you must understand the refusal of norquist and keane to have wilders speak before the c.pac. convention. and, it is against all of this, that you must understand the issues mr. ziegler has with mr. keane, and why pamela geller has taken up this cudgel.
it is within this context, why you must understand pamela geller's stand in showing these films, because she puts the principles of free speech and assembly over the difficulties in taking on some of the most powerful men in american conservative politics.
mr. ziegler was right to challenge them on these issues. pamela geller is courageously right to stand behind him.
let the games begin.

Yow-zah! Great video!
John Ziegler is on talk radio here in LA, and I really like the guy.
You're absolutely right Pamela, the "Republican old guard IS in for a rude awakening."
I've been saying here for a while now that we have to hold to the fire the feet of the people who are supposed to be on our side.
No more letting McCain and Keane and Lacey here, or any republican who is silent in these times get away with it.
They must be told, in no uncertain terms, that they either start manning up or we'll throw their a**es out!
Keep writing and faxing and calling everyone who is not standing for American principles.
The New American Revolution will be fought this way.

"The Republican old guard is in for a rude awakening".
That is the best quote ever... And so true...Sarah Palin may decide never to run for president, but she will be responsible for the gutting and purging of the current republican party. I am grateful for that. We must straighten out our own house first.
Thanks Pamela

The rot runs deep for a long time.
How has this been able to continue for so long ?
These rino's have been able to get away with this because the voters were fooled by the two party scam.

This was beautiful, exactly the type show I have seen dancing in my head while envisioning the aforementioned "rude awakening". Though I'm not willing to engage in a blow-by-blow critique of the entire drama, I was thrilled to see this Keene fellow get his come-uppance. Anyone who can watch these three video segments and not see the arrogant deception and outright lies of David Keene is, well, one of those people who shouldn't be allowed to vote.
My overall assessment is that Arlen Specter deserves David Keene, and Keene could be of much better service to the Specter Camp. Conservatives need to watch carefully to avoid being seen in the same city as that guy. This is the picture of what the conservatives are trying to divorce themselves from in the stale "GOP".
Sunlight is the best disinfectant..... This kind of poison is deadly, and I'm happy for a new day of sunshine!!
Thank you, Pamela.

Is it any wonder the parasites who have crippled the republican party for decades are uneasy about Sarah? When she became governor she went after at least two of the crooks and booted them. Is it any wonder the moron John Freaking McCain don't know whether to crap or go blind when questioned about Sarah? He don't know what to say just in case she overcomes both the old white men of the rep.party and the braindead liberals who bind together to defeat her, and becomes President. Time for all of them to go. Get the hell out. GO SARAH
Pamela you are the absolute BEST DAMM blogger there is. You walk the walk.

Pamela, I'm glad you sponsored Mr. Wilders' speech at CPAC. I'm glad you had the cajones to do it!! I had no intention of going to CPAC, because I already knew CPAC was getting Conservative In Name Only. But I did go to hear Mr. Wilders speak!!! I also got to meet the ever-memorable gentleman, John Jay, in person and I also got to meet you, Pamela.
If Keene is supporting that SOB Arlen Specter, then Keene is NO conservative!!!!
En francais: you used the right word: parasites. I have two friends who worked for the RNC during the Bush 43 years and the people running the RNC were no conservatives. They were there because they kissed George W. Bush's ass and were damned elitists and freeloaders!!!

Folks, expect Tingles Matthews and the Neolibs in the false left-right corporate banker media paradigm to play this to the hilt against the neocons in said paradigm.
