While sitting in the juvenile court house in Orlando waiting for Rifqa Bary's 2:30 hearing, I am ordering Wafa Sultan's newly released book, A God Who Hates: The Courageous Woman Who Inflamed the Muslim World Speaks Out Against the Evils of Islam,
How ironic.
It is not lost on me that Wafa Sultan's book was released today. How providential that on the day Rifqa Bary's fate is to be decided, Wafa Sultan's book should be released. *sigh*
The bravest person living in the United States, Wafa Sultan, Syrian-born certified psychiatrist, human rights activist, speaker, and author, is an apostate, expert on Islam and the only American citizen forced to live in hiding in the US because of the death threats against her by devout Muslims. She speaks out for Rifqa Bary. Sultan was born to a Sunni Muslim family in Baniyas, Syria. Sultan trained as a psychiatrist in Syria and is a US naturalized citizen.
Here Wafa speaks of the Rifqa Bary case:
I was born and raised as a Muslim in Syria. I practiced Islam for thirty years of my life. Now I am a known human rights activist striving to save our future Muslim generations from the impact of the violent, hateful Islamic doctrines embedded in the Sharia. My life is also threatened, not only by my own extended family, but by countless men who consider themselves devout Muslims. Under Sharia, if a Muslim leaves Islam or converts to another religion he / she is an “apostate,” to be killed. Under Sharia every Muslim has the right to kill such an apostate without any questions asked.
After hearing the story of Rifqa Bary I urge well meaning American citizens to take action and keep this innocent girl out of her family’s reach. There are all kinds of reasons to believe that she will be harmed both emotionally and physically, or worse—be killed—once her family has charge of her. Our Western court system must be educated on Islamic apostasy laws to understand Rifqa Bary’s predicament, and the plight of all those like her who choose to leave Islam.
I therefore implore our court authorities who are involved in this case: take notice and listen to individuals like myself. Keeping Rifqa protected and away from her family is the proper way to go both legally and morally.
If you missed Wafa debating a Muslim cleric, YOU MUST watch it on youtube here. I love Wafa.

Great photo of two of today's true heroines!
Thanks for the heads up. I will order the book right now.

Wafa Sultan is one of my favorite people in the entire world! This lady absolutely rocks, and the world is a far, far better place with her in it.
May God bless Wafa Sultan for standing by Rifqa Bary in this troubled time in America.

On January 26th, Obama's trial will begin and his fraud will be exposed.
In the new government instated after him, Wafa Sultan must have a prominent position, perhaps Secretary of State? Wafa, what a terrific American you are.
