Muslim Bomber Targeted Republican Representative Aaron Schock in Illinois

Rep. Aaron Schock's office was Jihadi's target

Rep. Aaron Schock's (R-Ill.) office in Illinois state capital of Springfield was one of the targets of a planned terrorist attack, his office said Friday.

Michael C. Finton, known as Talib Islam, was arrested Wednesday after trying to detonate a van he believed was stuffed with explosives near the Paul Findley Federal Building in Springfield. Finton had been collaborating on the attack with an undercover FBI agent and is being charged with attempting to murder federal officers or employees and trying to detonate a weapon of mass destruction, according to the Associated Press.

"My office was notified today of the attempted terrorist attack on both the Federal Building and my Congressional Office in Springfield," Schock said in a statement. "I am incredibly grateful to the FBI for their fine work in preventing this terrorist attack."

Schock's office was a secondary target, according to an Associated Press report.

Finton, 29, converted to Islam in prison and said famed American Taliban operative John Walker Lindh was his hero. Finton also expressed a desire to fight Israelis in the Gaza Strip and received military training in Afghanistan. He was under federal supervision for months.

Not surprising it was a Republican's office. . . and in Illinois! What a shock!

Thank G*d for the Federal Officers, and the level of surveillance we still have in this country.

Obama would weaken us in this arena of national defense as well as in our international defense.

Write your representatives and demand that internal and external security be a number one priority. After all, it's what a government is supposed to provide first. . . long before health care or child indoctrination, security is the 'prime directive'.

It is necessary to eliminate "prison conversions" to Mohammedanism of white as well as of black inmates through isolating Mohammedans, especially "imams" and other Moslem prison "chaplains"--preferably in solitary confinement with a koran and no toilet paper (and of course no rocks).

Rep. Schock was one of the key speakers at the 9-12 rally in Quincy, IL. He gave an anecdote about attending one of Obama's meetings at the John Deere factory in his district. Obama put Rep. Schock on the spot, telling all the union members not to leave until they had pressured Schock to vote FOR the healthcare bill. Guess what Schock said happened at the end of that meeting? The union members shook his hand and said nothing to him at all about healthcare except to tell him to stand his ground! How out of touch can one President be? I guess Talib Islam was the only one that agreed with BO that day.
