This flies in the face of what he and his wife testified to in the case of the thwarted honor killing of Rifqa Bary. Mohamad Bary and his wife signed affidavits declaring themselves indigent, and that is why the Florida court appointed a lawyer for the father and a lawyer for the mother. Both their lawyers are being paid by the taxpayers of Florida. Worse still, Aysha and Mohamed Bary's lawyer asked the court for more money at the hearing on Friday, so that they could wage a campaign (depositions, legal docs, filings etc.).
The above is a copy of the Dunn and Bradstreet report filed by Mohammad Bary for his business, Bary Gems. He states his business does $237,561 per annum. The wife, Aysha Bary, makes high-end bridal gowns (that income may be off the books, but she works every day). It would appear that she works for CUSTOM BRIDAL VEIL -- a company owned by Risana Bary. The same Risana Bary who works with Mohamad (Rifqa Bary's father) here at Bary Gems. There's more on this thriving bridal company here.

If he dissolved the business in early July, where are the proceeds? Where is the inventory? They owned a gem import business. If they liquidated, they must have had some inventory or orders or cash on hand. Some of his money may be overseas, as when you import/export, you try to save on taxes (not necessarily illegal). In order to qualify for Gem shows, you need some background and ability to deliver goods. We know he attended these. We know he is still attending these, because he went to one earlier this summer in Georgia. It seems he even attended them overseas. He was more of a gem dealer than a retailer. That means bigger numbers and a faster supply chain.
Each state requires filings from LLCs and Corps. They need to state income there. They have to file taxes. The fact that the NY company was alive for at least nine years shows there was income, as otherwise, why file? And if you don't file, your company loses registration. The rules for this are similar but not the same in each state. (hat tip to Armaros for that background)
The Barys live in a very affluent neighborhood in Westerville, Ohio, in a house they rent. Practicing Muslims aren't supposed to take on
mortgages. They either pay cash, rent or buy through a Sharia schedule
which is usually like a "rent to own" program you see for buying TVs.
In other words, title will be in the name of whomever "lent" to them.

Things began to disintegrate at home fairly rapidly once the parents were aware that Rifqa had converted to Christianity (watch her here). Her parents threatened her, but she never left Christianity. In mid July her mother went through Rifqa's private things and found her journal. It was then revealed to her mother that Rifqa was a practicing Christian. Rifqa's mom, Aysha, called the father and alerted him that Rifqa was still practicing Christianity in secret. Mohamed cut his business trip short in order to return home immediately while Aysha packed the family's bags to go back to Sri Lanka. Whether Rifqa would have been honor murdered before or after they returned to Sri Lanka is known only to the Barys.
Yesterday I reported that the facts made it very clear that Rifqa Bary's father was planning on fleeing the country with his threatened daughter.
He dissolved his business in early July when it became increasingly clear that Rifqa was a true convert to Christianity. It was at that time that he waved her laptop at her and said, "You are dead to me. "You are not my daughter". And he promised, “'I will kill you. Tell me the truth.' In these words, bad words,
cuss words." He filed to dissolve his business, which was registered in New York, but did not file in Ohio. Is he doing business in OH without a business license? Why didn’t he file for a business license in OH when he submitted his request to dissolve the business in NY?

dad. When my dad found out – I had a Facebook, that’s how he found out – and
phone calls from the Muslim community started coming in with emails that

A couple of weeks later, after I told my dad that I would follow -- I wouldn’t follow Islam, but would learn more about it. Then he put me in class after class after class after class......

..... it was Saturday night. In the morning I left to go to a friend’s house.
And I asked her, I begged her to take me to church. I needed to get to church. I
needed to pray, I needed to seek the Lord to know what to do. And so that entire
day from seven in the morning to late at night I prayed and prayed and prayed,
and finally I was able to get a ride back home to that person’s house. And I
stayed there Saturday, Sunday night because my dad was coming back home from his
trip that night, and so I stayed there that night and I just left. I hitchhiked
to a bus station and I got a ticket to Florida because I had met them through a
prayer ministry on Facebook. And this was the farthest away from Ohio – you
don’t understand, if I had stayed in Ohio, I wouldn’t be alive.

Rifqa Bary is the cross to CAIR's dracula -- I expect they'll create a huge negative campaign to destroy this child. Last week Columbus Dispatch reporter Meredith Heagney (mheagney@dispatch.com) published an article attacking the credibility of potential honor killing victim Rifqa Bary. In that article, Heagney quoted a Columbus Police official who assured the public there was NOTHING to worry about, flatly contradicting her claims of potential danger from her family. This quote has been reprinted and widely circulated by her parents' supporters, including the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in their claims that she has been brainwashed and abducted by Christians.
But speaking to sources in the Columbus area, it seems that Ms. Heagney is more than just a neutral or objective observer. According to these sources, Heagney has used her position with the Dispatch to serve as the de facto press agent for the extremist Noor Islamic Cultural Center, where Rifqa's parents attend (the mosque's ugly ties to terror covered here at Jawa a few days ago).
One such example is an article in the Dispatch yesterday where Heagney promotes Noor's current "Holy Month" celebrations. Earlier this year, Heagney penned a glowing account of the Islamic hajj featuring the outreach coordinator for the Noor Center. Last November, she plugged the mosque's Somali conference, failing to note the presence of Hassan Mohamud, who has recently been in the news for a promotional video complaining about "the hell of living in America" and for his advocacy in support of suicide bombings (something a real reporter, Katherine Kersten of the Star-Tribune, has been willing to cover) . Mohamud and his mosque have been mentioned in connection with the current nationwide counterterrorism investigation concerning young American Somalis who have left the country to train in the Al-Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab camps. But no need to worry - the Dispatch waved off any Columbus connections to the terror case long ago.
And during last year's Eid al-Fitr celebrations, Heagney authored a whining piece about the mosque's services entitled, "Muslims still look for acceptance". While conducting her reporting at the mosque she was photographed sporting her hijab along with her Dispatch ID card:
