The valedictorian of the Islamic Saudi Academy that is seeking expansion in Virginia was sentenced today to life in prison for his assassination plot to kill President Bush. This is but one of a many jihad related incidents tied to the Saudi Islamic Academy.
Jim Lafferty, a great American leading the effort to fight sharaih in America, wrote,
the good and bad news is that we have only one week until the scheduled Fairfax County Board of Supervisors vote on the Islamic Saudi Academy expansion. The current plan calls for the Supervisors to vote on August 3rd. We don’t have a definite time yet but I will keep you posted. No testimony will be heard at the August 3rd meeting. votes.
So that means…. back to the phones and the e-mails! I have attached the list with the phone numbers and e-mails. Please call them in the days leading up to the vote and encourage all Supervisors to vote “NO”. votes.
Last week, a group of us attended the monthly meeting of the Fairfax County Republican Committee. The contrast between elected officials (and elected official wannabes) and the grassroots people there was pronounced. votes.
Two supervisors attended and a candidate for Congress in the last round of elections was there too. They treated us like lepers. votes.
In stark contrast, grassroots Republicans shook hands with us and told us they were with us. A lot of Glenn Beck fans (most of those at the meeting) said they saw us on Glenn’s show.votes.
The grassroots Republicans cornered the Supervisors and told them to oppose ISA and many expressed their dismay that Republicans would have to give it any thought. votes.
The calls and e-mails to the Supervisors have been a deluge. Particular credit should be given to Pamela Geller of the Atlas Shrugged blog and ACT for America. Calls came in from across America and around the globe. One Supervisor required a German translator after receiving a number of calls from activists in Germany.votes.
But the most effective calls were the thousands received from you and other Virginians here in Fairfax. votes.
How these Supervisors vote on Monday, August 3rd will determine how we vote in some future November. Many of these local races are decided by 1,000 or fewer votes.
So once again “into the breach”, please attend the August 3rd hearing and bring as many people with you as possible. Pray that the Supervisors are given the courage to raise their voices while brave young Americans are risking their lives to stop radical Islam and Shariah.
Start calling - remember, Every assault on America must be fought, for every action, a reaction. Fight the stealth jihad- subverting America without guns or bombs ...............
