The thing is, all of Obama's General Sherman-like moves on American taxpayers are repeal-able with the exception of healthcare. It is a terrible, irrevocable change.
What makes Americans believe for one deluded moment that government can do anything better than the private sector is beyond me. The government got us into this mess. The government is the problem.
Keith Hennessey has an interesting take on the House health-care bill unveiled yesterday, and the tax burden it will levy on Americans at every economic level: (hat tip Morgan)
And for those who do not or cannot comply with the mandate, they end up in the worst of all worlds – uninsured and paying higher taxes. From CBO’s new tables, it appears that about eight million U.S. citizens would fall into this category. I expect that very few of these people would have more than $250,000 of income, the no-tax-increase line defined by the President.
They are destroying this country.

There is no guarantee of immediate coverage and there is no guarantee you will get to see your doctor when you want. The bill is so bad Congress has exempted itself and federal employees from Obamacare. Well, if they don't want to live under it, why should the rest of us be forced to accept it?

We are not getting the full story. THere are too many questions left unanswered. It's like a magic-wand economic plan for health care reform. "Don't worry. Trust us." Right.
This article has a lot of questions we need answered:

People, if we don't want this sweeping healthcare debacle to pass, we ALL must get galvanized, and start protesting like we've never protested before. We need large crowds to march on Washington and make our voices heard, and our presence seen. It's time these Neanderthals in Washington get it that we are pissed and we aren't going to take it anymore!! Who in their right minds would think that government run healthcare is a good option? Who?? I keep thinking that centralists in Congress will finally wake up to what is going on. Unfortunately, it seems I end every day wondering how these people can be so completely bonkers. We MUST take this country back from these cretins who I believe are absolutely out to destroy this country. It's all about money and power, nothing more.

Put Teddy Kennedy on Obama-Care RIGHT NOW. I look forward to the government PULLING THE PLUG on this drunk killer. Kennedy has done more to DESTROY America than a nation of Communists.
After we pull the plug on the drunken killer, we will save LOADS of money, and our nation will be safer.
THEN< we must put Hussein and ALL OF CONGRESS and Judges on Obama Care. Keep them on Obama Care for about five years. In the meantime, the nation will be safer, and these SOBs will realize the dreck that Hussein has brought on the nation.
IMAGINE the loss of privacy and the ability of the government to control, if Obama care becomes law. He is a cancer on America, Israel, and the free World.

Well, of course Obama and members of Congress will be exempt from the provisions of the law. The law is designed to aid the simple-minded serfs, not the very wise and important nobles.
Obama is really quite good at double-speak, we should all acknowledge. And, he has performed at least one miracle: he is so stupid he makes George W. Bush look like a genius!

Have you all seen the non-stop, pro-husseincare campaign style commercials in your states yet? I really am pissed beyond measure. A few organizations such as Our Country Deserves Better are raising money to get their own ads on the air, but I haven't seen any of them in my state yet. No one has the capital that hussein has when it comes to this stuff! He's just going to ram this through, and the general populace won't be able to do anything about it. I'm telling you, small businesses will just close their doors, at this will affect them the worst. I have a very small business myself that is beginning to do quite well, but I will figure out a way to not have employees on the payroll if I'm forced to provide insurance for them, or if I'm fined 8% of my payroll if I do not comply. It will hurt my business or put me out of business, but hussein doesn't give a rats *ss about any of us. It's all about doing whatever he wants, completely at the expense of the American people. Lots of small businesses will let their current employees go. I talked with a small-business owner yesterday who is one of my vendors, and he is saying exactly the same thing for his business and several others he relies on. People are P-OD, big time! I cannot WAIT until the day that piece of crap hussein and his henchmen are OUT OF OFFICE!!!! He is a total disgrace!!!! As for hair-plug Biden, he can just keep up his rhetoric. He has succeeded in making himself look like the total buffoon he is...he's nearing Dan Quayle territory.
