Clear thinking Americans see what is happening. The furious coup on America by a radical communist/Islamist -- best illustrated by the usurpation of the Constitution, the bankrupting of our nation, the illegal grab of private wealth, the infiltration of Islamic supremacism, the abandonment of our allies, the weakening of our military -- is stunning.
Sarah Palin sees it, too. Smart, sharp, patriotic, she best represents the majority of Americans. Not the BO hos in the press, not the chattering elites and the Beltway insiders. Americans. There was no way she would stay on as Governor, as she was unable to fulfill her duties. The leftist wing in America had her tied up in bogus lawsuits (all of which she won). She agreed to pay the travel fees for taking her children on one of her trips. Obama should do the same. Those trips to Paris for his two girls. Pay it back. Pay back the $100,000 it cost taxpayers for his "date" in New York. Pay it back. Pay for those ridiculous $100 steaks. Pigs at the trough. Not Palin.
The hypocrisy knows no bounds.
We want Palin. I heard Michael Steele say on FOX today that she would not run in 2012. Steele is a suit. He speaks for no one. The GOP won't even back Lt. Colonel Allen West. He (nor the GOP) will pick our candidate. Palin is going to help us win back the House/Senate by campaigning and working for candidates in that fight in 2010. And we, the good, decent folks in America, are going to help her win the White House 2012.
We need her. She knows it. She is heeding our call. Is she a hack like Obama and going to campaign on the taxpayers' dime, as he did as a junior senator when he ran for President? No. Extraordinary? Yes. But so is integrity, ethics and decency. The left is calling her a "quitter". Just the opposite, my friends. Just a fighter, a winner. And she is getting into the fight. Baruch hashem!
The American Revolution has its leader.
Check out my oped piece I wrote the day she resigned: Palin in 2012! World Net Daily
From Pollster.com:
As such, it is not completely crazy for Palin want to free herself from the time and travel constraints imposed by her gubernatorial commitments in Alaska. A month ago, Chris Cillizza outlined the logistical reasons why Palin would want to "take a pass" on a second term (resigning now is another story, of course). She has a big base and time is a resource. With more time to travel and speak, she would be able to build a grassroots army as Obama did.

The so-called "leaders" in the Republican Party are traitors to the party itself and to rank-and-file Republicans. The GOP has had plenty of black eyes lately, Duke Cunningham, Senator Vitter, Senator Ensign, Governor Mark Sanford....plus Michael Steele being a wuss of the highest calibre.
Sarah's a true conservative and this is what the rank-and-file want and need!!! A true conservative is what the country needs!!! Not Democrat-lite, not RINOs (and there's too darned many of them on Capitol Hill!) nor any others who look out for the Democrats (who, IMHO, are nothing more than Leftists/Communists/Socialists/traitors) and compromise their principles every other hour.
I got problems with Gingrich's credibility. Yeah, I know he's converted to Catholicism, but the way he treated his ex-wives, and the way he pointed fingers at Bill Clinton when Gingrich himself was committing adultery with Calista Bisek.... sorry, Newt, you're no better than Elliot Spitzer.

Governor Palin made the right move. President Obama started running for President only two years into his Senate term, effectively abandoning his duties as a Senator. At least Governor Palin is being honest and not taking taxpayor money if she is going to campaign. I believe that (then) Senator Obama kept drawing his salary as a senator during his entire campaign.
Where can I get Palin 2012 bumper stickers?

I'm sure that must hurt all those rhinos and most especially John COward McCain and Huckebee who had some disparing remarks about her.
Go Sarah
Off topic...that bastard Al Sharpton had to make it a racial thing at Jackson's funeral. What a pos.

Sarah should help get the Nat Gas Act through Congress. Could get her some great press (I'm dreaming) and help establish her bonafides.

The gop's are afraid that she is better than them. All those years they spent sifining money off us and this whipper snapper comes out of nowhere to lead the pack and they can't stand it. jealousy 101

Pamela:
It is my vote that you become Sarah's Speech Writer and/or Press Agent.
Also, the following was posted on the Campaign for Liberty web blog at
http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=21201
The Article appears to be bogus, but I thought you might like to know about it. IF ONLY.............
AP- WASHINGTON D.C. - In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group Americans for Freedom of Information has Released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from Occidental College Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors have been seeking.
Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship, this is looking pretty grim. The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama's legitimacy and qualification to serve as president. When reached for comment in London, where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue.
Britain 's Daily Mailalso carried the story in a front-page article titled, Obama Eligibility Questioned leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama's first official visit to the U.K.
In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama's legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey. This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio's case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama's citizenship or qualification to serve as president.
Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama's campaign spending.
This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.
LET OTHER Americans KNOW THIS NEWS THAT THE MEDIA WON'T EMBRACE!

"Smart, sharp, patriotic, she best represents the majority of Americans."
too true, but you forgot hot! is that chauvanistic? probably. but if you remember that the last two winning demos were considered pretty boys (bill clinton, go figure), that the last three losing candidates (D&R) were total goobers and that most voters have an attention span just slightly longer than a bud light commercial, having a little eye candy might be a good thing.
(be honest now, how many of you WOULDN'T want to have pamela or anne or laura on your arm for a night on broadway?)

I think Palin made exactly the right decision. Dems had moved into the state with a mission to destroy her approval numbers by the end of her administration. I don't think it would have mattered how good a job she did for the people of Alaska. The Left planned to hijack her rankings.
I also see her as a speaker for the majority - for real conservatives. I can't wait for her to bring it on and maybe, do battle with the GOP's recruiting team. another maybe: maybe she will go to Florida and lend Marco Rubio a much needed hand. She will be most quoted person in the U.S.

NBC News Tonight w/Brian Williams tonight featured an interview with Sarah Palin by Andrea Mitchell. Palin told Mitchell, "You're not listening to me..."
Vintage Palin. No, she's not finished, yet.

I hate to commit memory here, but I recall distinctly that our gracious Atlean hostess was equally enthusiastic about--gulp--MICHAEL STEELE-- a few months ago.
I love Sarah, but she has really stepped on her d!ck a few times recently. She still has a lot to prove.

I love that she's outdoors in her fishing clothes with her family, doing what she's always done and enjoyed. Sort of like Reagan on the ranch.

JO, he was not my choice, but he talked the talk and walked the walk and contrary to popular belief I want to get things done. We have a ton of work to do, the infighting is paralyzing.
So when the party got behind Steele, I did too. I had no idea he was such a friggin suit. No leadership, no balls. Gotz.
I gave him a shot. He sucks.
Palin is my choise. There's a difference

I find it beyond interesting that Atlas, the inner city being that you are, embrace Palin, the wild woods kinda gal she is. I like it. I love it! I'm in the upper nw corner of the lower 48, and this woman is who we are. Accent (??huh??? that's how we talk) and all. That an east coast upscale gal gets it....well, your m1 is hiding in the woods, waiting for when you are forced to flee. I know what you look like. You are welcome in my bunker.

JewishOdysseus, I thought Michael Steele was a leader too. I found quickly that he's no better than Bill Clinton, a wimp, a pansy ass and a loser. The only difference between Clinton and Steele is the fact that Clinton can really give a speech without a teleprompter, I might add.
The GOP for years, has been run by Washington insiders, elitists all, who think they know what's best for this country. The leadership in the GOP just plain sucks these days.
The late and very great Ronald Reagan was an outsider in the GOP too. He shook the party snobs and he also resonated with the needs and wishes of true Americans. That's why Reagan won the election in 1980. I remember what it was like when Reagan was elected. I was a young airman in the US Air Force and Desert One, the failed rescue attempt under Jimmy (Closet Commie) Carter and that stupid SOB, MajGen Vaught, had failed with dozens of GIs getting killed because of very poor planning. Our morale was in the dumpster. We looked awful. When it was announced that Carter was defeated and Ronald Wilson Reagan was going to be our new president, morale turned around overnight. The dollar, which had been in awful shape while Carter was president, started going up. From the time it was announced that Reagan was the winner to the time that Reagan was inaugurated, the dollar went up by 30%!!! It was stunning.
The GOP leadership (namely, all those Chief RINOs in DC) needs a beyotch-slappin' and Sarah's the one to do it.
'Nuff said.

Gov.Palin knows we have corruption in high places in both parties and she will not be apart of it. What she did is BRILLIANT showing us that she is not apart of the good ole boy or gal network. If she decides to run in 2012 I will be doing all I can to help her WIN. She is a true PATRIOT and if our nation survives this usurper fascist she will bring common sense and the values and freedom that our Founding Fathers gave us. Heads up DC a new sheriff is coming to town and you will be calling the Federal Pen home.
Sarah Palin 2012

Let me just say this:
If Gov. Palin is as tough and assertive w/the DC Rinos as she has been w/: 1--ABC's Charlie Gibson; 2--CBS's Katie Couric, and 3--NBC's Andrea Mitchell...Well, we will be sunk.
Am I the only one to spot a disturbing streak of cluelessness in this lady and how she is constantly running like Charlie Brown to the football held by the elite media?
"STOP GIVING OUT THESE INTERVIEWS TO PEOPLE WHO HATE YOU, GOV. PALIN!! IT'S IDIOTIC!!"

As much as I like Ms. Palin and admire her, I am personally afraid that her hostile stance towards environmental issues (and I do NOT include Al Gore and his idiotic global warming brainwashing campaign with these incidentally!) may torpedo her chances of a victory.
I think some conservatives need to rethink their attitudes towards certain environmental matters (NOT the global warmiong scam as previously mentioned). Now would be a good time to do this.
I am only SAYING some conservatives may want to mind their ps and qs on this issue. Environmental issues will not go away and they will be snatched up by the radical left if the right doesn't take them more seriously (and stop antagonizing people who see them as legitimate which is a major chunk of hte US population).
