Anti-Iranian Cartoons in the Arab Press in the Wake of Iran's Presidential Election
Witnesses Report inside Evin Prison: Witnesses are subject to:
Capital intensity is filling the cells 209 and 240. Band 2A belongs to the revolutionary guards in Evin prison. Prison authorities and the unit security were forced to refer prisoners to the corridors of the prison and after filling the areas they were forced to also send prisoners to those sections which were unused for a very long time.
Due to a serious lack of space in the prison, many of the interrogations take place in the cells or corridors and not in an interrogation rooms. Prisoners are beaten and tortured at the time of their interrogation. Excessive exuberance of prisoners in the last few days is now the biggest problem for the prisoners, in a way that that they are in a very bad condition regarding their food and health wise. Among these, the authorities at the Evin prison are extremely lax and they do not look after prisoners in any way. The situation is so bad that the prisoners might not be able to eat during the day as there is no food and if they’re very lucky, they might be able to eat just one small portion for the whole day. Tweetdeck: People injured in clashes have been arrested and not given treatment. Prisoners' state of health is deplorable.

Pamela,
Googling around, I found an upcoming demonstration against Noika's treachery in Cambridge, Mass.
I hope they realize that I'm on their side and they don't try to smash my camera.

Some counter-jihadis I've spoken with are leery about supporting this revolution, thinking it might be anti-American and anti-Israeli.
Well, based on my experience today and several other encounters I've had with Iranian dissidents, it is not at all anti anything except the Mullah's regime.
At a poetry reading titled LITERATURES OF RESISTANCE - An Afternoon In Solidarity with the Iranian People, I heard not a word of hatred. Period. Just a determination to fight this brutal regime by being its opposite: tender, ironic, humanistic, creative and appreciative of the intellectual heritage of Persian art. The audience was mostly Iranian ex-patriots, with a few folks from other nationalities, like me.
At the break, I asked several Iranians point blank what they and the people they knew felt about America and Israel. Here's what they said, "I can't speak for everyone, but mostly Persians love America. I'm here in the US and I only I heard about Michael Jackson's death from my cousin in Iran. The attitude towards Israel is neutral. It is a low priority. We can't understand Ahmadinejad's intense hatred for Israel and feel repulsed by it. There is some sympathy for the Palestinians." And from another person, "We consider Ahmadinejad insane. He talks about having a Muslim saint beside him all the time and even has an empty chair for it. He does that pretentiously to show the Mullahs how religious he is. Everyone hates Ahmadinejad. Aside from that, we don't hate anyone. We have a long tradition of being for everyone, of understanding that we are all in this thing together." (Well, no group of people is homogenous or always nice, but one would have a hard time finding an enemy in this group.)
In my opinion, they deserve our support.

When they say ,"One picture is worth a thousand words", they're talking about pictures like this.
The knife about to go into the protestor's back by an undercover Vevak Agent, Revolutionary Guardsman, Basiji, or , Palestinian ARAB Hamas or Lebanese ARAB Hizbollah "on loan" says it all.

True, Choi - the classic Islamic sneak up from behind and stick the knife in the back method of murdering - as practiced on that elderly Italian nun in Somalia. The message that ought to go out to the protesters is "Watch one anothers backs" and if a Basiji thug or anyone else carries out sneak stabbings like that, jump on him and use his own knife on him, or at least kick the living daylights out of him.
