This is the third honor killing post I have reported in the past 12 hours. And no one in the dinosaur media talks about it. All those loud mouthed full of shitniks talk big when excoriating and trashing those who fight for these women and recognize their plight, but they cower and wet their pants when forced to report on Islam. Instead they search for benign euphemisms for this most brutal and ugly ideology. The world in the West is changing for women. This war being waged in our society by Islam is about women, it's about power, it's about control.

Meanwhile, the blogger Scaramouche suggests that, while they're looking into honor killings in the Kingston area, the constabulary might take a gander at another curious aquatic accident this month:

Police say 14-year-old Kinza Kaianad died Monday evening at Kingston General Hospital as a result of injuries she sustained Saturday in a hotel pool in Gananoque, roughly 30 kilometres east of Kingston.

Her mother, 43-year-old Naila Yasmin, died in hospital on Sunday.

Yasmin, Kaianad and another daughter, age 11, were found unconscious in the indoor hotel pool just before 9 a.m. Saturday.

There would seem to be a statistically improbable number of multiple drownings of female members of Muslim families in Kingston this summer. If you're a young female Muslim, and you have any say in the matter, you might want to vacation elsewhere.

The killing of Ghazala Khan in Denmark by her brother may be the only instance where an 'honour' killing has been photographed while being perpetrated. This  picture was captured on cell phone camera and shows the woman's brother aiming the gun at his sister, lying on the ground. Her fiancee, also seen, was wounded, but survived. The killing was planned by her entire family, and Pakistani taxi drivers were used as spies to spot her and alert her family.

As a 13-year-old girl in Turkey, Rojda was raped, then forced to marry her
rapist under Islamic law. Her face was mutilated by her "husband's" family
when she refused to prostitute herself after he was imprisoned for raping
another child.

And the thing is, this is the end - the final act, the culmination of the subjugation, oppression, violent abuse of women in Islam. The terror that precedes the murder is almost unimaginable. Living in fear, every day, living in fear of physical and mental abuse and still, standing up and living their own lives -- only to be murdered for it.

In November 2006, Rohina Abdul Ali was bludgeoned to death in her bed while lying next to her 4 year old daughter. Rohina was an Afghan refugee who had come to the US along with her mother, brother, and 4 year old daughter. At the time, I speculated that the motive, if ever revealed, would turn out to be an honor killing. I speculated that she had found that the US is much more free and decadent than her home country. Her mother was known to be "overly protective" according to reports. Last week, the mother was found guilty of Rohina's murder and was sentenced to 75 years in her death. But the motive has still not been made public. I stand by my prior speculation. This was an honor killing, and the Chronicle is hiding that fact.

Truly barbaric. Where are the women's groups in the world that should be screaming at the top of their lungs? Islam must be exposed by every outlet possible for what it does. This is sickening, the story which struck me the most was Rojda from Turkey. I have seen these practices first hand. I was in Turkey in 1988 with the military, and a buddy of mine took me to a place they called simply "The Compound" apparently this was a brothel where women were taken to "work" off their husbands debts while they served a prison term. It sickened me then, and continues to do so, this is the peaceful progressive culture which our dear leader wants us to embrace. The leader for change wants us to openly embrace a culture which has violently fought change for 2000+ years. Maybe we can't impose a change in the middle east, but we sure as hell don't need to promote the spread of this "disease".

The "relative" found dead with the daughters in the Kingston killings turns out to be the previous wife of the man charged with the murders along with his current wife and son.

All the womens groups in the world, all the government intervention will not stop these murders. As long as Islam exists, murder will be the way its done. It is a cult of submission or death, one or the other, no in between.

There is no where in the world, where Islam is dominant and where Sharia law is practiced that is a place one would want to live and raise a family. Problem is getting people to realize the evils of Islam, true Islam. Pam,to give you another perspective the president of ALL Amercicans , that right not just Muslim Americans but all Americans has sounded off on this and made it clear that we must respect their reilgion, even if we disagree with it.
In the Muslim tradition honor is a very meaningful concept and women who disrepect their families,their religion stand to lose everything.
Feminist undertand that this is a very deeply seated tradtion and respect it, so does the media, so go bark another tree, these tradtions have been in effect thousands of years and they are not going to change just for you, and Obama understand that....

As Pamela has so rightly stated at the beginning of this article, the apathy and indifference of the media, women’s groups and society in general is astounding.

While not trying to excuse Canada, in ignoring this travesty, it has been noticed and the more mainstream right of center media has begun to demand, that this be addressed. It takes a great deal for Canadians to get their dander up, but this latest dis-honor killing seems to be making the average citizen demand that there is change.

Having said this, after decades of fuzzy bunny Liberal’s in power in Canada, we have basically created a catch & release program for murderers. I sincerely hope that the maggots who think that they can deal with family matters in this manner are put into the general prison population.

One item that slips the notice of most of the North American media is that Canadian jails don’t have the ‘Nation of Islam’ gangs in our jails. I suspect that if they are let into the general population their stay will be terminal.

that was sincerely awful Pamela. this society has many victims. it isn't just the men who are creating a violence. the first part of killing the victimization cycle is to realize this. keep in mind how quiet women's groups are and then you realize the reason they are afraid to speak isn't just because they are afraid to confront religion, but rather because to speak out they would have to confront other women who are part of this and believe in their culture of submission. it is hard to fight an enemy when you can't find villains. you can point your blame on the man who committed the end violent act, but you lose if you don't look at the cultural cycle that got him to that point. if you demonize men then you fail to look at all the women who brainwashed him to get to that point. and while it is true that if these men were not killing for Islam, they might be killing for something else... but there is a bigger problem and that is if these men reject their religion then they embrace a secular culture that is very hostile to men. if you leave us guys no place to escape to then unfortunately the domestic abuse people have practically sealed the deal. sadly secular culture has not grown past the Gloria Steinem idea that everyone is the same. the feminists don't understand that they must create roles that allow difference in gender. if men trying to escape cultural intolerance are confronted with a huge paradox that doesn't work for them then they will just become another Darth Vadar.

my mother wrote a play that went around the country about "Domestic Violence", It was called, "Rule of Thumb" It went around the country and played for organizations. In the mid 90s I was invited with my family to see them do a version of the play at the Philip Morris building. The people at the event struck me as on edge. one of the women involved in the event was an NYPD officer who was very involved in these issues. I remember thinking out of place at the event and my own mother had written the play. my mother became very good friends with the police officer who spent her career in crises situations dealing with hostage situations involving domestic abuse cases. apparently my mother during a six month period had the police officer disappear and my mother said she felt guilty as if she had done something wrong and she wasn't sure what it was. apparently it wasn't that the police officer thought my mother had done anything wrong... on the contrary the police officer had shot herself to death in her very own domestic squabble. the people who are creating the alternatives need better guidelines then 70s feminism.

People do horrible things from the beginning of time. What pushes them towards it, is their contorted nature and ignorance.
Because crimes are committed in the western cultures, does not mean that there is anything in the message of Christ or in the pertinent religion to push towards it. If some catholic priests did rape children, it does not mean that Christianity as an ideology is the one to blame. Because 7 men raped a 16 year old girl in Canada and the others stood there watching and taking pictures and spread those in internet, we may not blame Christianity although some or all of them may be baptised. Nor can we say "Christian bastards!"
The same stands for Islam. How can one with a little bit of culture on world religions say that "a woman was raped and than forced to marry the raper acoording to muslim law" when rape is punished by death in Islam law and a girl may not be married without her consent (always accoording to the muslim law). People who do this, do it for their own contorted reasons and only because they profess to do it in the name of Islam does not make this an Islamic law.
Muslims do bomb and kill innocent people, but there is nothing and I repeat NOTHING in Islam that may justify it. On the contrary, there are laws that forbid it. Most of the people who have spoken above know nothing about the Sharia or Islam in general, but what has been served to them by ignorant Media.
There is nothing constructive in creating monster images about ideologies. Eastern and Western societies have their own deep problems and those are the ones to be addressed. Instead of inspiring people with hate we must try to understand and cure.
