Own this album? Absolutely!
Nothing like "The Voice."

Forgot to mention....
Way back when, when I was taking singing lessons, my vocal coach had me study this album -- for the emotion, the phrasing, etc.

You have dynamite taste, Atlas. "Only The Lonely" is an immense masterpiece. Though "Wee Small Hours" is my personal pick as the most perfect Sinatra album of all -- I once made the case that, among other things, it proves the existence of God: Frank Sinatra's In The Wee Small Hours.
(If only we had Frank around today -- he wouldn't put up with all this garbage going in the world, that's for sure.)

Nice job, Pam. So, I have a request for next week: How about something from Bill Evans' Every body digs Bill Evans.

Funny you running a Sinatra thread, Pam, I just watched the original (not the cheesy leftist remake) "Manchurian Candidate". I had never seen it before.
What an awesome, intense flick. Does not seem dated at all, especially with all that is going on right now!
