So let me understand this -- the 89 year old Nazi Von Brunn ran into the Holocaust museum in Washington, DC and opened fire on (and killed) a security guard, and Shepard Smith is remonstrating with conservative bloggers who aren't drinking the Obama kool-aid?

I am watching Shepard's show dumbfounded. He is pointing his smug, short stubby finger at us for mistreating Obama (no mention of how Obama has treated the Constitution, Capitalism, and our allies). He is yelling at us for calling Obama a Muslim (he was born a Muslim, don't shoot the messenger, man), and for questioning the origins of his birth (vault copy, anyone?). But what does this have to do with the Nazi Von Brunn? I do not know. The Nazi Von Brunn website, wildly gross, is not a diatribe against Obama. It's a Jew hating white supremacist cesspool. This is a man who is a Hitlerite -- who wants to exterminate the Jewish people -- and yeah, he hates black people, too.

Was the condescending Shepard Smith scolding the leftist/Islamic alliance last week when Abdulhakim Muhammad gunned down US soldiers at the military recruiting center, justifying it by saying it was jihad? Did he talk all afternoon discussing the violent ideology of the Koran?

How relieved everyone in the media was (particularly Shep) that the shooter was not a Muslim -- now they can talk about it, now they can spend all day on it and analyze every irrelevant factoid.

Shepard Smith is scolding us for the 89 year old Nazi Von Brunn -- a nut case who served six years in federal prison in the 1980s. Von Brunn had walked into the headquarters of the Federal Reserve System  with two guns, a package he said contained dynamite, and a desire to improve the nation's economy, D.C. police said. A certifiable sicko.

How amusing that Shepard feels the need to take this opportunity to scold us for doing the job the media and schmucks like him won't do. He also took the opportunity to vouch for the DHS report on right wing extremism. You know, the one that targeted vets, tea party attendees, Jewish extremists -- as the real threats to the country. The 89 year old Nazi Von Brunn served in World War II -- are those the new terror threats? WW2 vets? Scary stupidity.

FOX could do so much better than this pompous elitist. If Beck proved anything, it's that if you are halfway talented, your numbers will go through the roof. Beating the competition when you're on FOX is no biggie. The competition of CNN, MSNBC et al drives people to FOX. Leading the leftwing media asshats is not the bar to beat. FOX numbers are the bar. I am sure, for example, if FOX dropped Beck into Greta's spot, he would increase their numbers at 10pm by 30%.

But Shep sucks. And Shep has always sucked, and it's time to get rid of the deadwood. I don't know where he gets off talking down to us, but it's not his job to defend Obama and to try to tie African American racism into this Jew hating incident. Funny thing, though, he didn't discuss Jew hatred at all. Nope. An 89 year old Nazi goes into the Holocaust museum and shoots up the place, and Shep is whining about the lack of O-love. And that racism is driving that lack o'love. Earth to Shep: Americans are angry because Obama is destroying the country. And what does that have to do with an 89 year old nazi shooting up the Museum devoted to mass extermination of the Jews?

Why does Shep have his panties all in a twist? Nazis aren't new. Or special. Look at all of Europe during World War II. Systemically they killed their Jews, every country (save the Danes), with gusto.

And who can forget his leftist asshattery last month, when Fox anchor Shepard Smith, on a post-broadcast Webcast, lost it when discussing his opposition to waterboarding, etc — bellowing: "We are America!" This Shepherd Smith is a cowardly narcissist who doesn't have any idea of history. Glenn Beck at least can see the handwriting on the wall. I am boycotting Shepherd Smith from this day forward, and I respectfully request that all your readers do the same. Perhaps Fox has received complaints about not covering the issues surrounding Obama's eligibility to be President, and his Islamic background/leanings. Maybe Smith's attack of Conservative Blogs, is a futile attempt to distract from the failures of "mainstream" media - in this case Fox. Time and time again the "mainstream" has proven that they are no longer reliable news sources. Blogs have taken over the news.

No doubt, the "mainstream" is feeling extremely vulnerable - ratings are down in all of these venues. Instead of having the guts to cover the real news, they choose to attack those who speak the truth. Hey, you guys - I beat a lot of you to it! Namely, I turned off that strutting fool Shepherd Smith more than a year ago - when I discovered the imperfect, but usually lively and suprisingly "conservative" Lou Dobbs! In our time zone & area (So. Calif. desert), Lou Dobbs is on just after the 3 PM PST/6 PM EST show (forget their names!)and just before O'Reilly - i.e., in the same time slot (out here) as Shepherd Smith!

Well, Dobbs is all over the insane stimlui programs and Treasury/Obama shenanigans, and, in fact, he sometimes sounds like a Fox moderator himself! Smith is NO match for Dobbs, who has a good sense of humor - albeit "liberal" from time to time, but palatable nevertheless. And even his panelists & reporters fall in line with his relatively Conservative views! It's one of the few bright spots in a sea of idiot liberalism on CNN.

Actually, I fell hard OUT of love with Smith when he went into histrionics from the Superdome in New Orleans in the immediate tragic aftermath of Katrina. Granted, it was a nightmare of a situation - and it only got worse; but Smith's hysterical antics ("For God's sake, someone come down here and help these people!!"), shouted & repeated for days (undeniably justified, but totally and obviously ineffective. Had he done one positive thing (behind the scenes) to help one family or even only one person, that would have been a notable thing to do - and he could have reported it as a human interest story. But most of the time, he was just loudly and over-dramatically complaining. Even at the time, I felt like telling him to shut the f--k up and do something USEFUL as soon as his time on the air was over and/or during a longer break.

I missed Smith's latest "insert mouth, change feet" episode on TV today, but I don't think I missed much - in fact, just kept myself calm and centered and prayed for the bravey and great, professional response of the armed guard, as well as for peace & comfort to his family. He was a hero and will, in time, be memorialized himself in the very museum that he guarded - literally! - with his life. May his soul rest in peace.

I heard about the shooting and was watching Shep and saw him go completely psychotic - somehow insinuating that the shooting at the Holocaust Museum was (??) related to the killing of the abortionist and having a (half) Black president, then progressing to Napolitano's 'extremist list', as if this prooves she's right (??), and calling everyone who is concerned about the birth certificate (or lack thereof) a 'loon' and the same for those who wonder if Obama might not be Muslim all in one swoop???

My boyfriend was here, and I literally screamed and swore at him and actually switched to CNN (of all places) 'til Cavuto came on... I had to take a Valium!! He didn't mention the 4 converted Muslims and their plan to blow up a NY synagogue last month,or the 2 US soldiers shot, a bit more appropos.

I was very upset because I have been in that museum - spent a whole day there, and that's a traumatic enough experience without the shooting. It could have been a LOT worse - many people (probably mostly Jews) could have been killed.

I think that Fox News is generally very good - the anchors during the day seem to be with it, Cavuto is thoughtful and honest, Beck is excellent (his show was the only one that pointed out the rise in anti-semetism, Bret's okay. O'Reilly thinks he knows everything but has no clue how bad Obama really is and sometimes won't shut up when he's got a great guest, Hannity is on the ball, Greta is in the know but is a bit cautious about trashing Obama... but Shep has GOT TO GO!!
