The media can spin their subjugation and adulation a million different ways, but America did not vote for a "Muslim presidency," which is what this is. Obama deceitfully hid his Muslim background and schooling and his agenda. Little did America know that Obama's objective would be a conversion of this nation to "the largest Muslim country in the world". From the moment he spoke as President, in the inaugural address, Islam was falsely given a preeminent place in the creation of America. In this speech, he quoted from the Koran three times. Why doesn't anybody comment on this? Why doesn't anyone ever comment on what he projected vs. what he is? Why won't all those talking heads state the obvious?
The Asia Times said Obama made a mistake by speaking in Cairo.
“Why should the president of the United States address the ‘Muslim
world?,” it asked. “What would happen if the leader of a big country
addressed the ‘Christian world’? Half the world would giggle and the
other half would sulk."
“To speak to the ‘Muslim world’ is to speak not to a fact, but rather to an aspiration," the paper stated, "and that is the aspiration that Islam shall be a global state religion as its founders intended. To address this aspiration is to breathe life into it. For an American president to validate such an aspiration is madness.”
He quoted extensively from the Koran.
In his typically anti-semitic fashion, Obama came down very hard on the Jews in his speech today to the Muslim world.(Full text of speech here)

The moral equivalence did not end there. Obama equated "the two peoples":

There is already a "two state solution" in place. Jordan is Palestine. Muslims in Gaza were given whole industries, factories (a way to make a living) and billions and billions in aid, to what end? Jewish genocide.
Israel must also live up to its obligations to ensure that Palestinians can live, and work, and develop their society.
Who is stopping them? They live to hate the Jews, and yet Obama insists the Jews be responsible for their executioners - this is rich.

It is an interesting point to make, considering the glaring omission of the Jews contribution to humanity. Here are the facts:

The "largest Muslim country in the world." Really. I knew that Obama had a problem with numbers as evidenced by the financial homicide he has recently exacted on our country but this is a bit much. There are many 2 million Muslims in the US. Even Mauritania has more Muslims. What's the deal?
I didn't like much about Bush but at least he got it right, it is a battle of good vs. evil. Obama, our present day Neville Chamberlin, doesn't get it. He is an appeaser of the highest degree. I'm surprised that he didn't apologize for 9/11.

Verse 5:32 applies to *muslims* only. Verse 5:33 clarifies that by specifically excluding those who "make mischief." The quran helpfully also specifies who the mischief makers are:
Unbelievers (8:73, 16:88, 38:28)
Jews (5:64)
So, in his ignorance (or perhaps deceit), Obama was admonishing muslims who kill each other, not islamic terrorists who kill innocent non-muslims.

Pam, you have taken so much heat for predicting that Obama's would be shown to be a Muslim presidency, and you have been spot on accurate while so many others have been wasting time speedboat racing on deNial.
And to "Rational" (?), you say just let it play out and the free world will survive this presidency. That would be nice, but what reasons do you have to believe that? If Obama continues with his plans, what will be left of the "free world" in 3 1/2 years? If we are hit with another major attack, will Obama massively retaliate against the perpetrators or will he rap them on the knuckles, piously mourn our losses, lob a couple of mortars in the direction of Osama's last known address, and assure the Islamists that we are not going to over-react this time like we did after 9/11?
Or is his administration going to continue to soften the ground for a more "peaceful" takeover of our economic, educational, religious, military, and media institutions by Muslim interests until we are so tangled in their web it will be impossible to escape or to respond to threats/blackmail and attacks without all hell breaking loose on our own heads as a result?
Many people made equally "rational" sounding arguments in the 1930s with regard to the Axis Powers. They were not forced to fight in the end because they had "failed" to compromise. They compromised until they were backed into a corner outnumbered, outgunned, outproduced, and out of luck unless they got their heads out of the sand and their act together.
Educate everyone you know who will listen to the truth about Islam. Forget the ones who don't want to hear it, we don't have time for them now.

Last Fall I got interested in the presidential campaign because it looked like an inexperienced and possibly anti-Jewish secret Moslem might be elected president. I also knew that a majority of Jews and Catholics regard themselves as Democrats. So I read and made comments on many sites sympathetic to Jews and Catholics about how it is wonderful to be against racism, but it is stupid to then vote for someone who hangs around with anti-white, anti-Jewish bigots.
Now, as Obama's bigoted mentor has said, the chickens are coming home to roost.
Now the president of the U.S. is one who is probably the most anti Judeo-Christian morality and anti-Israel president we have ever experienced. And who were the ones who were major factors in putting him into office: Catholics and Jews according to polls.
Our Founding Fathers relied on the electorate being concerned and informed. Instead, we have today unconcerned voters besotted by celebrity and ignorant of the important issues at stake.
May God help us and God help Israel. Our stupid voters certainly won't

Once again, outstanding. I cannot agree with some here though that say this was a very good speech. Mundane, and boring would be better supportive terms for it. I have a few points as well as many more questions
First, before he quoted the koran - Is that why ABC and drudge ran a idiotic blog entry prior to him leaving - the title "My muslim roots" ? to appease us ? or them?
Second, it concerns me on what happened behind closed doors and how bad did he sell out Israel as well as us. (i.e. the "mistakenly leaked nuclear secrets") I agree with Ms. Gellar that this was no mistake and was this to again appease them? certainly not for us, or our safety. I find it funny that he not dare visit Bibi nor Israel but will in fact visit a holocaust museum. For what? I think pamela answered this to vindicate the vile nazis.
How long before the canary in the coal mine Israel and then us will wake to the impending "man-made" disaster and for the first time the crickets will no longer chirp "bush".

Barack Obama usurped the US presidency in 2008. THis man is NOT the POTUS despite what some (including him, I guess) believe. But this man does NOT speak for me and does NOT speak for America. Obama is NOT a US citizen anyway (guess why he isn't providing us with his birth certificate? He doesn't HAVE one because they don't issue them in Kenya where he was born).

I share your heavy heart, Alas! The potential for injury here, to the free world and individualism, may be far greater than any potential for peace, healing or moderation.
I thank you, however, for the excellent example of the list of Nobelists. The extreme under-achievement by Muslims in world affairs is not due to any human shortcoming but the inherent fault of a Faith that demands less, not more, from its adherents. And to an ideology that is really a cultural form of brainwashing masquerading as spirituality. Liberated Muslims, as few as they may be, are free to explore and achieve. The faithful meanwhile, trod on, suffer, or let themselves be used. It's no consolation that the victims of this malignancy include their own ilk. There seem to be no voices amongst Muslims crying for liberation, or endeavoring for honest reciprocity in "reaching out."
America should stop apologizing, and instead remind Muslims that Americans died in places like the Balkans, Somalia, and AF/PA, in the cause of Muslim freedom, that American soldiers have killed fellow Christians, in order to save Muslim lives at times. Maybe the POTUS has forgotten the history of Islamic conquest of India, the destruction of tens of thousands of Hindu temples, and the slaughter of millions of Hindus over several centuries, (and contrast that with the industrialization, education and reformations brought in by their British successors).
There is nothing to be gained by this misguided mea culpa. The leader of the free world embarrassed himself today. This appeasement is worse than Bush's!

I think he might be referring to the colonial powers like France and England. They used to enlist soldiers from their colonies into their armies. So in a way, muslims have fought Hitler as part of the French or English armies. And because the US was also in this battle against the nazi's, one might say that muslims "have fought our wars".
The reason i know this, is that for this precise same reason, the dutch people were made to honour Moroccons and their flag on our national liberation day. The spin is that in this way, the moroccons had a big part in liberating the Netherlands. Ofcourse, not 1 moroccon soldier died on dutch soil!
And there were no polish flags (who really did have a big part liberating Holland) or nigerian flags and what have you. Not even een algerian flag (algeria ofcourse being a neigbouring country to morocco and also under French rule which enlisted many algerians).
The reason for this ofcourse being that there are no algerian streetjihadist in Holland.

As the full, foul, stench of Hussein Obama's Cairo speech ferments in my assaulted nostrils and filters unwelcomingly up to my brain, the complete and awful import of it makes our terrible predicament finally crystal clear to me, like the last piece in the jigsaw that I was hoping and praying would never become a complete picture, but now has. If (as we are continually told by government and media) Islamic terrorists are merely a tiny extremist minority, officially unrepresentative of and unsanctioned by the greater Islamic world as a whole, then why are our governments (with Obama as chief architect) bending over backwards to appease entire Islamic nations and the entire Islamic world, by selling-out, gagging, ostracising, outlawing and dismantling our own entire traditional heritage, faith-practice, constitutional legislation and lifestyle of Judaeo-Christian civilisation? Just to appease a tiny rogue minority?
And if the opposite is true - ie, that every moderate, everyday Muslim in the world in fact secretly wants every non-Muslim in the world to either convert, pay taxes to them, or be executed, then why aren't we deporting every Muslim back to their home country and then nuking them, which would be the only logical, defensive response and cure for this clearly sub-human, selfish, bloodthirstily, murderously psychopathic, civilisation-destroying, cancer that calls itself Islam?
