Hey Atlas gems, I wish you and yours a supremely happy Mother's Day............... as I opened my eyes this morning, there were the kids lined up with a hot cuppa Dunkins java and red roses. How friggin' great is that?
Surrounded by those I love. I am happy.

There was no one sharper or more prescient than my ma. Wicked quick, I almost always hated to ask her opinion on critical things, because her answers were never what I wanted to hear -- but she was always right. Always.
My favorite mommism? Whenever something really awful happened to me and it wiped me (or my sisters, for that matter ) out - she would wave her hand and say "it's nothing". And mean it. And explain it. She was a big picture kinda gal.
It may sound like nothing, but it's the best advice she ever gave me.
