Protesters clash with police as 100,000 strong London Gaza demo descends into violence

Violent clashes occurred between police and around 20,000 protesters outside the Israeli Embassy in London - with an estimated 100,000 protesters airing their views around the city.

Windows were smashed and policemen were injured - with one officer knocked unconscious in the running battles and two requiring treatment for facial injuries.

The protesters - mainly young men - knocked down barriers threw missiles including eggs, red paint, sticks and shoes as 300 officers in full riot gear tried to maintain the peace.

Yeah Britain, keeping bringing in those Muslims. Good luck with that!

There were reports that some protesters had tried to set fire to police vans.

The violence, which broke out in front of the Israeli Embassy, appeared to be led by a hard-core of masked and hooded youths.

A national demonstration against Israel marched from Speakers' Corner at Hyde Park today to the Israeli embassy in High Street Kensington.

It was estimated there were around 100,000 protesters in total across London, including the Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park and Kensington protests.

A Starbucks coffee shop in the area was stripped of chairs and had its front windows smashed, and protestors also removed fittings from the shop.

Residents living in flats above watched the scenes from their windows, and many people pleaded with police to let them out of the cordon.

At one point, the protesters were seen to throw shoes at mounted police posted in the Notting Hill area.

The march ground to a halt outside the Israeli embassy as tens of thousands of people surged past carrying placards.

In Amman, Jordan, more than 2,000 took to the streets and in Syria, another 2,000 marched in a Palestinian refugee camp near Damascus shouting anti-Israeli slogans.

There were also demonstrations in the U.S., France, Norway, Greece, Malaysia, Sweden, Bosnia, Lebanon, Thailand, South Korea and India.

A gun was held in the air in a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Barcelona this afternoon.

The man holding the gun had his face covered and was right behind the placard that opened the demonstration.

The motto of the demonstration was “Stop the massacre in Gaza”.

It was supposed to be for peace but, in addition to this man showing a gun, the speeches were all violently anti-Israel and no mention was made about Hamas and Islam.

A great number of Muslims, mostly Maghrebins and Pakistanis, were present.

I wonder if any of the people running these countries are looking at all this and thinking, "Man, we've got some real shit going on here with all these Moslems we let in." Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part. But it's just hard to believe the London and UK govt is looking at this mess and only saying "If only the Jews didn't cause so much trouble..."

Ah, what does it matter? Anyone can see where this is going. Sad as it is, Jews are not going to live much in Europe, going forward. A few will stay, just as today there's still small communities of Jews or individual Jews in weird places like Iran and Venezuela. Europe won't become 100 % Jew-free. But the attacks and intimidation aren't going to stop. Sensible Jews and those with means will want to get the eff out - to places like the US, Israel, etc. Then Europe can get what it's been striving toward, more or less, a Jew-less Europe that will proceed to sit under the expanding cloud of Islam until its completely covered in another 20-30 years. The Europeans are soon to learn that the Jew is not the source of their problems, but unfortunately they'll learn this lesson too late, far past the point where it even matters anymore.

As for the Moslems raging in the streets, I think there's still hope to get some of that under control in the US. Their population is still small enough to grind their public outbursts down to reasonable size. In Europe, all is lost; the jihadis are just getting warmed up.

I had great opportunities in my earlier career to travel all over this great planet and spend time in many places no American Jew could go to at all today, such as the UAE and southern Philippines, as well as a lot of other places we can still go but would probably choose not to - London, Thailand, etc. I am so thankful I made those trips when a Jew could get a passport, throw some CDs in a suitcase and head out, expecting to be treated with respect as an American and with indifference as to my religious affiliations. I remember arriving in the UAE on July 4 in 2000, and after filling out the obligatory entrance form stating my religion, getting a welcoming card on my hotel pillow congratulating me on the birthday of my country. Man, times have changed. Going forward, Jews are going to be planted wherever they can find that's safe enough to hang out. Our travel freedom will be sharply diminished, exactly as envisioned and desired by the Jihad.

I waited years for the Londonistan-effect, the gradual takeover of major western cities and countries by the jihadis, to register with the natives - for those natives to come to their senses, realize what was going on, and take back what is theirs. Too many years have gone by - now it seriously looks either like they'll never see the light, or they already see the light and either don't feel they can fight it or, worst of all but probably closest to the truth, see exactly what's happening but are cool with it due to their political and PC persuasions.

The thing floating around my head the past two weeks is that whenever Israel needs to ramp it up to fight off the scourge, the global jihadi intimidation machine gets into gear. That machine is pretty well calibrated to the situation on the ground in Israel - the more engaged Israel is, the more intimidating world conditions become. And then I look at what's coming around the bend - Iran, Syria, Hizb'allah Pt II, etc., and I realize we've been in a fairy tale situation so far - it's gonna get bad. Really bad. Right here, in our streets. I hope we're prepared or have some clue how to deal with it when the time comes.

Apparently, it really enrages the jihadis and their friends the anarco-leftists caucasian kids when Israel is kicking ass and winning. Since Israel seems to be getting its shit together a little ("seems" being the operative word), that could make this a whole lot more interesting.
