As I've asserted many times, both on this site and my blog, the decent middle classes would gladly turn belly up to the mohammedans, just to avoid being labelled a 'racist'. That is certainly the case here in the UK. Although, we do, of course, have a barely civilised white underclass that will soon compete with the interlopers for the right to state benefits.

I'm going to buy an Israeli special forces cap and wear it on the streets of the local univesity town, that is, of course, a hotbed of 'palestinian' pain pimpery and such like. The irony is, given that we're not allowed to bear arms in the UK, I spend an inordinate amount of my spare times turning my body into a weapon. I'm looking forward to visiting a 'disproportionate response' to any mohammedan who violently infringes my right to wear an Israeli cap.

therefore, i think there are different ways to 'stand up' to these bad people. one must excercise his/her own free speech. one must not be intimidated. and one can show that they will not back down; however, one must also use wisdom, 'sechel' as we say, and not invite physical confrontation with wild-eyed hate-crazed thugs.

as per the law, i have the right and duty to defend myself. if they lay a hand on me, then i certainly will, and they won't know what hit them. however, i will not invite that type of confrontation.

the point of 'self-defense' can be a tricky one and in these situations one must excercise caution. all these thugs need is an excuse to be violent.

Kobi, your comments are correct, but I'd like to add, without hyperbole, that I would not consider wearing any Israeli insignia while on the streets of the local university town (in the UK) if I was not capable of 'looking after myself', and also appearing that I can look after myself.

It could be argued that simply wearing Israeli insignia at this time, in an environment that is polluted with the zealots of so-called 'anti-imperialism', and 'anti-zionism', is a 'breach of the peace' as defined by UK law. Such action on my part would be provocative, and I would certainly 'be asking for it', or inviting a confrontation.

I really don't think I'm being overly dramatic when making these statements. I'm talking about a supposedly genteel town that is centred around its academic institutions (where I studied as a mature student). Those institutions are however grounded in the orthodoxies of the Left and it is not uncommon to be accosted in the streets by the purveyors of 'palestinian' victimology whenever Israel commits an 'atrocity'.

These are obviously difficult times and I'm afraid that the only way to avoid confrontation is to disavow any allegiance to Israel, something that I'm not prepared to do.

atlas readers!! bH, just as i said yesterday, today i got a big israeli flag (3ft by 5 ft) and stood on the corner (suburban los angeles) and waved it, saying tehilim(psalms) and singing israeli songs..or just being contemplative.

it was very nice to do. i was alone. not alot of people honked. but a number did. i know that israelis honked. i brought extra smaller flags that i gave away. a couple of people stopped to say thank you.

it's a great feeling. i had just a few negatives. which, compared to these other places is almost unreal.

still, bH i did it, and i encourage all atlas israel lovers to get a big flag and stand on the corner of your choice and wave it baby, wave it!!!!

My wife and I were in Dallas on 30-Dec-08 to visit friends. I took the triple overpass exit to show my wife the JFK shooting area. Much to our surprise there were hundreds of Arab protesters in front of the 6th Story Book Depository.

I parked nearby and we walked behind the crowd through the archways near the famed grassy knoll. We were looking for counter supporters but found none. My wife discouraged me from shouting "no rockets, no war". After seeing the vidio it was probably a wise decision we would have been greatly outnumbered
