Davos Annual Meeting 2009 - Gaza: The Case for Middle East Peace
I am not a fan of Shimon Peres, but I am deeply proud of him in this. Don't sit through the Jew bashing....fast forward to minute 40 - watch Peres. It is an incredible speech. And please don't point out to me in the comment section all of Peres' faults. I know them well.
But in this moment, he is magnificent.
No one reported that Shimon Peres read from the Hamas Charter.
KGS transcribed Peres's remarks here.

Turkey’s Inveterate Jew-Hating Prime Minister Mas-kom-ya Erdogan Angry with “One of Those (i.e., Jews, in this case Shimon Peres) Who Have Earned Allah’s Anger (as per [1] Koran 1:7)”
An apparent epiphany for (Simple) Shimon Peres at the Davos World Economic Forum, was followed by a truly Orwellian bout of anger from the Islamic fundamentalist Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip MAS-KOM-YA Erdogan, as reported [2] here; with video [3] here.
Peres whose previous blithe ignorance of the Genocidal Jihad and Jew Hatred in [4] Hamas’ foundational Covenant I have documented [5] here, actually read extracts from this odious document to the audience (Erdogan and the equally vile Amr Moussa of the Arab League, prominent among those attending), including (in part) the genocidal hadith in Article 7,
<“…the Islamic Resistance Movement aspires to realize the promise of Allah, no matter how long it takes. The Prophet, Allah’s prayer and peace be upon him, says: “The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,’ except for the Gharqad tree, for it is the tree of the Jews.” ([6] Sahih Muslim, Book 41, Number 6985),”
and the clear statement in article 13 that Hamas’ jihadism is completely incompatible with any meaningful Middle East peace settlement:
“Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement. Abusing any part of Palestine is abuse against part of religion. Nationalism of the Islamic Resistance Movement is part of its religion. Its members have been fed on that…There is no solution to the Palestinian question except by Jihad. All initiatives, proposals, and International Conferences are a waste of time and vain endeavors.”
MAS-KOM-YA Erdogan was in such a rage following Peres’ straightforward remarks, that after some barely coherent diatribe, he rushed off the Davos stage. I have referred to Erdogan as MAS-KOM-YA Erdogan, and his enraged behavior as Orwellian because of these relevant details I discussed in September, 2007:
On August 28, 2007, the same day that [7] Abdullah Gul became Turkey’s President –replacing his secular predecessor, and further consolidating the ruling Islamic AK (Adalet ve Kalkinma) Party’s (AKP) hold on power — [8] MEMRI published [9] excerpts from a chilling interview given by former Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan. The interview originally aired July 1, 2007, as part of Erbakan’s campaign efforts in support of Islamic fundamentalist political causes before the [10] general elections of July 22, 2007, and the AKP’s resounding popular electoral victory over its closest “secularist” rival parties. Erbakan, founder of the fundamentalist Islamic Milli Gorus (National Vision; originated 1969) movement, mentored current AKP leaders President Gul, and Prime Minister Erdogan, both of whom were previously active members of Erbakan’s assorted fundamentalist political parties, serving in mayoral, ministerial, and parliamentary posts. During Erbakan’s pre-election campaign stops before throngs of tens of thousands of supporters throughout Anatolia (including cities such as Trabzon, Elazig, and Konya), as well as cosmopolitan Ankara and Istanbul, he reiterated the same virulently Antisemitic statements captured in the July 1 interview, and other interviews…[9] Erbakan’s recent statements are vivid evidence of the fulminant Antisemitism his popular movement has imbued, including amongst Turkey’s current ruling elites, who never criticize such pronouncements by their mentor….
Current Prime Minister Erdogan, in 1974, while serving as president of the Istanbul Youth Group of his mentor Erbakan’s National Salvation Party, wrote, directed, and played the leading role in a theatrical play entitled [11] Maskomya, staged throughout Turkey during the 1970s. Mas-Kom-Ya was a compound acronym for “Masons-Communists-Yahudi [Jews]“, and the play focused on the evil, conspiratorial nature of these three entities whose common denominator was Judaism.

Its reported Peres later called Erdogan to apologize.
My reaction, was "Huh? Has he taken leave of his senses?"
Which goes on to illustrate the old saying, "Its easier to take the Jew out of the Galut than to take the Galut out of the Jew."

Words just fall on the deaf ears of our enemies. Their hatred is so great as to blind them for eternity. Our mistake is trying to convince them of our sincerity. These mistakes will be our demise. Only through strength and decisive action can we keep ourselves safe. Our enemies will always be our enemies. To think otherwise, is to delude ourselves.

Perez still doesn't get it:
he still blathers on about peace without understanding of the jihad ideology.
But in his desperation he did tell the truth, which was too much for the Islamofascist erdogan and his tilt, they couldn't stand it and imploded with rage, and finally they stormed out:
http://sheikyermami.com/2009/01/29/erdogan-throws-hissy-fit-in-davos/
Update from Davos: Erdogan brushed past reporters outside the hall. His wife appeared upset. “All Peres said was a lie. It was unacceptable,” she said, eyes glistening.
Amr Moussa, the former Egyptian foreign minister who now leads the Arab League, said Erdogan’s action was understandable. “Mr. Erdogan said what he wanted to say and then he left.
That’s all. He was right.” Of Israel, he said, “They don’t listen.”
Damnd Jooozzz, they just won't lie down and die. What humiliation to the soldiers of Allah!
jihad, jihad! Itbach al Yahood!

Peres spent too much time on Turdogan. One word would have had that idiot's head explode. "Armenia."

Perez is still a ghetto Jew at heart. He makes a show of finally standing on his hind legs then begs forgivness from an emeny that would gladly slit the throats of every child in Israel and has a history of gencide in his own country. Just mention the Armenian Genocide and all hell would break loose.
Where oh where is BIbi...

All of you are viewing this from the side of israel. The world is NOT all of that view. I didn't see Erdogan stormed off, He simply walked off in a huff.
I think Latinos are standing by bemused by all this. There is no anti-semiticism here, unless you think China, India, the rest of southeast Asia, Japan and Latin America, are jew-haters.
And I'm looking for the vid of peres' speech.
As to the apologies of peres, calling him a "ghetto jew," is like calling him a "peasant" - and your insulting yourself, saying this. Weren't the jews in the ghetto, the upholders, the cornerstones of the jewish religion? Weren't the jews in the ghettos the newer citizens coming into America. Weren't they your ancestors?
I think we're all sick and tired of this conflictg between israel and the arabs. And we're very much fearful, both of them are going to drag the rest of us, the world, into a nuclear conflagration.
When is all this going to end? The lives of the jews are NOT the only valuable ones. It's true that the rest of us, see israel's act as unconscionable.
Never mind, the past, although, it is true about the Armenian Genocide - and before that the concentration Boer Concentration Camps set up by the Brits,m and before that the Repartamientos for Indios, set up by the Spanish, from California/Mexico to Paraguay/Uruguay.
Come on, people, the jews were NOT the only ones to suffer.
What is relevant today, is what is happening today.
When is it all going to end, already!

Erdogan could have handled himself much better than that - I think what he was not expecting was the Israeli response - which put him in his place somewhat -
He definitely lost it there !!
He's a guy who is used to getting his own way - but he was not in Turkey at that moment -
::
I was wondering how it all happened. Thanks for the video !!

I just read the transcript of the speech over at Tundra Tabloids. Wow.
The fact that, at Davos - Davos!! - he read aloud a sample of the Hamas Charter, has got to be a landmark event.
If Israel 'gets' it, if Italy 'gets' it, if India can 'get' it, and if Wilders can weather this upcoming trial, then we're [all us Infidels] in with a chance.
And allat - you ought to know the slogan of the jihad lynch mob - "First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people". Don't think that the pagans and Christians of Latin America are off the jihadis' radar. The Hamas charter looks far beyond Israel: its clear subtheme is 'today we take Israel, tomorrow...the world'.
And don't forget Mumbay. Surrounded by millions of Hindu polytheists, ostensibly the ultimate target of jihad, the jihadis (none of them Arab!) deliberately went out of their way to attack a Jewish family.
The Jews are first on the Kill list; but everyone else is next.

I have to say I was very impressed by Peres statements. I never heard an Isreali leader hit all the right points like he did.
Of course his problem is , is that his audience is Muslim and so they remain in their eventual desire to kill him.

Peres did this for reason and one reason only: political gain. That was also the reason All-Merde and Barack Ehudama went into aza: to make believe they're not wussies.
Once they're in power, it's Arab ass licking for 4 years again, and a little "resistence" just before elections.
