CBS 60 MINUTES JEWISH BLOOD LIBEL: THEY SHOULD BE INDICTED FOR INCITEMENT TO SECOND HOLOCAUST

Nazi propaganda took a sharp turn last night. CBS 60 Minutes set the stage for President Hussein and his Arab point man George Mitchell to put the screws to Israel.

Last night's story totally smeared Israel as warlike in regard to settlements and evil with regard to violating 'Palestinian"  rights. BTW,  they are not "settlers", they are Jews living in the Jewish homeland. Period. (hat tip Ken)

Drunk on jihad. Look at Simon's face -- you can see him manning the gates at Auschwitz Birkenau with his hat on straight.

BOB SIMON: Palestinians say they can't have a state with Israeli settlers all over it, which the settlers say is precisely the idea.

Notice how they say the Jews have to leave the land. The Jews have to be expelled from Judea and Samaria (Jewish land) but Muslims, Arabs etc. live in Israel and have the freedom to conduct mass demonstrations against Israeli policy! Bob Jew hater Simon says the Jews can't live there ............ why? Simon never mentions Islamic antisemitism and the vow to destroy Israel. Simon never mentions all the Jews expelled from Gaza and the gorgeous successful state Gaza turned out to be. Jew hater Simon never mentions the 950,000 Jews expelled from Arab lands ...

"I think that settlements prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state in the land of Israel. This is the goal. And this is the reality," Weiss told 60 Minutes correspondent Bob Simon.

Bob Simon's 60 Minutes did a through hatchet job on the Gaza situation. Harcourt wrote me,

 Simon basically served as a Hamas-idal shill - saying that Israel has 3 choices: (i) ethnic cleansing, (ii) democratically including all Gazans and West Bankers in its elections or (iii) becoming an Apartheid state. Of course, the Apartheid remark comes with a visual of the separation wall and the "humiliating" checkpoints that Israel has. Very little mention of the full-scale continuing war that Palestinians have against Israel or that, before the wall, pizza joints and discos and buses were being blown up. No mention of how, by his example, the USA is an "Apartheid State", shamelessly keeping vigilance at its southern border and not letting in everyone who wants to emigrate from Yemen, for example. Feh, and double-feh.

 It would not be surprising that anyone without an in-depth understanding of the Gazan situation and Hamas/Hezbullah and Iran (i.e., most of the world) would come away from this with an extreme distaste of Israel and a love of Hamas.

It would be funny if not so biased. He has one scene where Israeli soldiers allegedly have taken temporary possession of a Palestinian's home to scout out a disturbance in the valley below it. The Palestinian comes to the door, but says he is in "prison" in his own house and cannot leave. Apparently, however, he is not so in prison that he can't answer the door and have an interview with a news correspondent. Also, no mention of what "disturbance" was occurring below that would necessitate the alleged "occupation" of this man's home.

Israel and the Jewish people should start suing these "media" organizations for their anti-semitic propaganda and incitement to Jewish genocide.

CBS (CBS) Getting a peace deal in the Middle East is such a priority to President Obama that his first foreign calls on his first day in office were to Arab and Israeli leaders. And on day two, the president made former Senator George Mitchell his special envoy for Middle East peace. Mr. Obama wants to shore up the ceasefire in Gaza, but a lasting peace really depends on the West Bank where Palestinians had hoped to create their state. The problem is, even before Israel invaded Gaza, a growing number of Israelis and Palestinians had concluded that peace between them was no longer possible, that history had passed it by. For peace to have a chance, Israel would have to withdraw from the West Bank, which would then become the Palestinian state.

It’s known as the "two-state" solution. But, while negotiations have been going on for 15 years, hundreds of thousands of Jewish settlers have moved in to occupy the West Bank. Palestinians say they can't have a state with Israeli settlers all over it, which the settlers say is precisely the idea.

Daniella Weiss moved from Israel to the West Bank 33 years ago. She has been the mayor of a large settlement.

"I think that settlements prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state in the land of Israel. This is the goal. And this is the reality," Weiss told 60 Minutes correspondent Bob Simon.

Though settlers and Palestinians don't agree on anything, most do agree now that a peace deal has been overtaken by events.

"While my heart still wants to believe that the two-state solution is possible, my brain keeps telling me the opposite because of what I see in terms of the building of settlements. So, these settlers are destroying the potential peace for both people that would have been created if we had a two-state solution," Dr. Mustafa Barghouti, once a former candidate for Palestinian president, told Simon.

And he told 60 Minutes Israel's invasion of Gaza - all the death and destruction - convinces him that Israel does not want a two-state solution. "My heart is deeply broken, and I am very worried that what Israel has done has furthered us much further from the possibility of [a] two-state solution."

Palestinians had hoped to establish their state on the West Bank, an area the size of Delaware. But Israelis have split it up with scores of settlements, and hundreds of miles of new highways that only settlers can use. Palestinians have to drive - or ride - on the older roads.

When they want to travel from one town to another, they have to submit to humiliating delays at checkpoints and roadblocks. There are more than 600 of them on the West Bank.

Asked why there are so many checkpoints, Dr. Barghouti said, "I think the main goal is to fragment the West Bank. Maybe a little bit of them can be justified because they say it's for security. But I think the vast majority of them are basically to block the movement of people from one place to another."

Here's how they block Barghouti: he was born in Jerusalem, grew up in Jerusalem and worked in a hospital there for 14 years. Four years ago he moved to a town just 10 miles away, but now, because he no longer lives in Jerusalem, he can't get back in - ever.

He says he can't get a permit to go. "I asked for a permit to go to Jerusalem during the last year, the last years about 16 times. And 16 times they were rejected. Like most Palestinians, I don't have a permit to go to the city I was born in, to the city I used to work in, to the city where my sister lives."

What he's up against are scores of Israeli settlements dominating the lowlands like crusader fortresses. Many are little cities, and none of them existed 40 years ago. The Israelis always take the high ground, sometimes the hills, and sometimes the homes. And sometimes Arabs are occupied inside their own homes.

UPDATE: Call  60 minutes. Be very polite, but very 'concerned'.

"So this is the responsibility of the government and police to stop them. As
simple as that. Israel is a state of law and order," Livni said.

I have a number of friends who cling to the belief that the only reliable news sources are printed newsapapers and network news agencies. Any information I may confront them with that is not sourced from these MSM is immediately discounted.

A couple of thoughts:

1) They are not settlers but Re-settelers of the land.
2) There is no "West Bank", it is Judea and Samaria. There never has been a nation there that called it the west bank.
3) Jordan controlled Judea and Samaria from 1948 to 1967. Why did they not rename it Palestine?
4) Egypt used to control Gaza, same thing, why did they not name it Palestine?

I talk to Israelis almost daily. Most, about 65% support a two state solution. It is Arabs and the Euro left (The real Neo-Nazis) Obama has courted which call for a One state Holocaust of Jews. As do the Fatah liars who say they support Israels right to exist as long as they accept 4 million Arabs born in Tunisia, Lebanon and Europe to move in with them.

Israel, the nominal state. That is the goal of Palestinianists world wide. 3 states for Palestinians.
The greatest people in world history who, unlike anybody else deserve, 3 states: Jordan, WB-Gaza and Israel with its new Arab majority.

Israel kicked the settlers out of Gaza. They were kicking and screaming but they left. CBS made no mention of it but showed the scene of 3 years ago when Jews pelted the army with eggs as who on earth would be happy when evicted from their homes?

CBS made no mention of the fact that what Jews left behind in Gaza, green houses, orange groves and soda bottling plants, the Arabs destroyed and used whatever they could from what remained to building rockets.
Before Gaza we heard the same reports, in fact if I recall it was also CBS which predicted a civil war in Israel and a military dictatorship.
It didn't happen so there goes CBS trying the same BS setting up the stage to vilify Israel once more so that Mitchell can be seen as some impartial peacenik.

Can anybody imagine what reporting would have come out of the Dhimmi media had Bush appointed a Jew to negotiate peace in the ME!!!

What is truly shocking is that reports like this assume that no Palestinian state can exist within which Jews exist. Only a Nazi style Judenrhein status can assure the safety and freedom of others.
As if it would be impossible for Jews to live in a Palestinian state the way Arabs live in the Jewish state.

Can Bob Simon imagine if a NY born Muslim had driven a tractor into a transit bus on Broadway and his family flying Al Queda flags handing out sweets to neighbors celebrating it.

I'm telling you, it's getting very very bad for the Jews. I live in a tiny town without a Jewish community or an Arab community and the biggest newspaper around just printed a letter to the editor written by a muslim acusing the Jews in Gaza of all sorts of things, killing innocents, destoying every thing, including the trees! I wrote a letter of my own but it wasn't published, I complained, bottom line I canceled the newspaper subscription. What bothers me is only one side is getting out. Unless the Jewish groups get as loud as these muslim groups a lot of people who just don't know a Jew from an Arab from anything else will believe the propaganda. Christians feel welcome in Israel because they don't threaten same with extinction.

What if a US President asserted Christian Heritage rights in Judaea and Samaria? Most Israelis would respect same because these wouldn't encroach on Jewish rights. I have long favored creation of dual Christian and Jewish states in ALL Palestine. That is something between Kahanism and Peacenowism.

Western Civilization needs to question our serial deference to Arab Muslims. They can retreat to 634 AD regions for all I care.

If I knew nothing more than what I saw in that story, even I would be out on the streets supporting the Palestinian Arabs. I can't tell the difference between Pelley and Simon - but one interesting thing about the Livni comment: CBS set it up as if Livni were talking about the total number of "settlers" that the Palestinians claim are in Judea/Samaria (there are NONE in Gaza anymore). That number is approximately 500,000. That's right - half a million. Livni, very clearly, is talking about a very limited number of settlements with "tens of thousands", not "hundreds of thousands" at issue. This much smaller number is consistant (whether one agrees with the policy or not) with the Israeli government's ultimate map of where they would withdraw to - much less than 5% of the "settler" population is covered in what Livni is talking about. Bob Simon (and CBS) would have you believe that Livni is agreeing to remove all of the "settlers" and completely accede to Palestinian demands. That is patently untrue and, in fact, libelous. If you didn't know better, you would think that even the foreign minister of Israel agrees with Hamas that Jews have no right to be in the "settlements". In actuality (again, whether you believe in the policy of ethnic cleansing of some Jewish "settlers" or not), Kadima's (Livni's party's) policy is to hold on to most of the major "settlements" in any final resolution of the issue. This is a difference of 450,000 plus people that Bob Simon carefully edits into Livni's position as being deserving of transfer. Since it is clearly a distortion of Livni's (even Ehud Barak's) views - that any neophyte with Google can research - the only reasonable and possible explanation for CBS to broadcast it this way is as an extremely biased propaganda technique.
