Apparently Obama's socialist/commie leanings are coming home to roost. His pick for global warming czar is a socialist. Big time. The Washington Times has this:
Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.
By Thursday, Mrs. Browner's name and biography had been removed from Socialist International's Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group's congress in Greece was still available.
Socialist International, an umbrella group for many of the world's social democratic political parties such as Britain's Labor Party, says it supports socialism and is harshly critical of U.S. policies.
Yup. Obama's pick is a dyed in the wool, tin-foil-hat-wearing-one-socialist-world-government to combat (non-existent) global warming and destroy American hegemony. And downer Browner doesn't need Senate confirmation. This is what I find so telling. Expect Obama to do a lot of this -- anyone that does not have to go through Senate or committee approval will truly reflect Obama's ideology.
Soros and company (his fingerprints are all over this) have sent their parrots out to sell the socialist idea to the unsuspecting American people. Bob Beckel was defending Browner on Fox. His argument? "What's wrong with socialism?" And Beckel pointed to the Republicans as the architects of the new socialism with the recent bail-out. Beckel fails to mention that the Republicans were bailing out the socialist Democrats pillaging of our nations coffers. Need not greed was to blame in the financial meltdown.
It is pretty clear that the left is confident that they have sufficiently dumbed down a generation of Americans after their takeover of the public education system. How far and fast it has fallen. Just how ignorant are our kids coming out of leftwing indoctrinated public schools?
Twenty years ago, could you ever get away with the statement, what's wrong with socialism? It shows a complete lack of understanding of the brutality of that failed system and more importantly, a callous disregard for who, what and why America is.
Steel yourselves, folks.
