It may appear to be unbelievable that the FBI has pulled agents off of counterterror assignments to investigate the Jew, but considering how the FBI has been operating, this is not at all surprising. Remember this:
WTF is the FBI doing?
FBI & CIA RECRUITING ON JEW HATE SITES?
FBI Outreach to CAIR
I'd love to see their "investigation" on Raines or Jefferson or David Gregory's wife or Barney Frank etc ..
FBI: Madoff scandal is so large, we had to shift agents away from counterterrorism ops Jihadwatch
Hey, thanks, BerniePriorities. "Synagogue of $ufferers: Bernie's Scam Hits Elite Temple," by Stefanie Cohen and Kelly Magee for the New York Post, December 21 (thanks to Joel):
[...] Meanwhile, the FBI admitted that the Madoff scandal had grown so large that it was forced to shift agents from counterterrorism operations to the alleged swindler's case, among other Wall Street scandals.

This ganiff's morally despicable actions are far reaching and it will need a large team of investigators. BUT the FBI did not need to issue the statement that it required agents to be pulled away from anti terror investigations. It's their way of saying that your safety has been compromised as a result of Jews. If there is some further terrorist attack, the Jews will be blamed for the FBI's incompetence. AND this kind of statement is enough to encourage terrorist activity. For saying this they are no better than Madoff.

Stan Lee once said tha X-men was a metaphor for the jews in america.
I guess we all know who is channeling Magneto.
What a complete douchebag! And how many charities are going to be literally killed? Hadassah 90 million?
But for the FBI to PUBLICIZE removing agents from counter terrorism?
SCHMUCKS
Utter Schmucks
As far as anti jew...all we have to do is look back to the AIPAC case

The legacy of J Edgar Hoover lives on. I guess were it not for Congress, the FBI would still be the bastion of REAL Americans (translation: white Christians) that fiend admired so much.
What, really, have the fibbies ever truly ACCOMPLISHED? As near as I can tell, they are an agency designed to gather dossiers on anyone and everyone who might even think of running for office or be in charge of something bigger than a corner newsstand. If that person steps out of line, Our Defenders of Liberty and The American Way are there in a flash to harass and blackmail. That, or they take our tax dollars to record the bedroom activities of civil rights organizers so that LBJ would, ahhh, errr, have something stimulating to listen to.

I wd be very cautious before writing off the entire FBI on the basis of this "admission" by a spokesman. For all we know it was an honest, tugged-out admission after a lot of press probing. Or it may be a little grandiosity/budget begging.
And who do you people think developed the cases that just got 2 big convictions in jihadi trials in the past few weeks? Who do you think dug up the evidence and did the legwork? You think it just happened by accident?
I, for one, think it is appropriate for the FBI to intensively investigate a ~$50 billion fraud. But maybe that's just me.
You can't have it both ways, folks.

In defense of the bureau, working with CAIR is an administration policy, so target Bush for this, not the professionals in the bureau. I work with FBI agents and most know what CAIR is. Second, they have many responsibilities besides terrorism, like ponzi schemes, public corruption, bank robbery, drug dealing, etc.

JewishOdysseus-
Are you reading challenged? Please say yes, otherwise you are tripping over yourself to apologize for some agent who made a statement that jeopardizes not just Jews, but all Americans. The next time you hear antisemetic statements you can at least say to them, "But I was very cautious."

Reading challenged? Here is THE ENTIRE TEXT from the NYPost story--the last graph of a long news story:
"Meanwhile, the FBI admitted that the Madoff scandal had grown so large that it was forced to shift agents from counterterrorism operations to the alleged swindler's case, among other Wall Street scandals."
No quote.
No source.
No name.
"AMONG OTHER WALL STREET SCANDALS."
Reading challenged, huh?
Me, 1--you, 0.

My statement:
Your early comment:Speculative at best and according to your use of quotation marks it wasn't really an admission which is belied by your citing of the quote in your subsequent comment. So quit tap dancing already. Even though the agent mentions other Wall Street scandals apparently it was the Jew, Madoff, which prompted the agent to imply it would compromise terror investigations.

**I'M** speculating? This is like being called violent by a jihadi...
Son, you need to remember: I've FORGOTTEN more about media tricks and analysis than you'll ever learn.
When you can find the name of the NY Post source;
Their position within the FBI;
What they actually said;
and what they were asked;
then YOU will be able to do something other than speculate. This is what we adults call "being very cautious." It is a good habit to get into when you want to blast large govt bureaucracies for a specific charge, else you often look like a fool. And destroy your own credibility.
Which is what we DON'T want for this excellent blog that the excellent Ms. Geller works so hard on.
Do you even bother to read the words your fingers type out? Do you realize you are picking a fight with me because I advocate "caution"?
Look, you can run around hysterical about rumors for your whole life, and define yourself as a fool, but some of us prefer to base our opinions on something more concrete than pure speculation.

I don't know who you are at all, so why on earth would I remember anything you allege that you've accomplished? But since you've decided to resort to personal attacks, ad hominems and put downs which are all adolescent tools of the left, then I stand on my original charge that your behavior is apologizing for the antisemitic statement. Interesting you think that you can hide behind Pamela's skirt by fawning admiration for her. As for caution, let me tell you a story.
The Nazis have two Jews lined up in front of a firing squad. One asks for a blindfold. The other says, "don't make trouble."

Your cute firing squad story has nothing to do with "caution," which is an important concept for politics and warfare. You should look it up in the dictionary one day.
In response to your ad hominem attacks on me: I'm happy to leave it to our fair-minded readers to decide who has patiently argued substance, and who has relied on name-calling and juvenile insults.
