New Year’s Eve event seeks Mideast peace, justice in 2009

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 12/30/08) - On Wednesday, December 31, American Muslims and other people of conscience will gather outside the White House in Washington, D.C., for a “New Year’s Eve Candlelight Vigil for Gaza.” The vigil is sponsored by the American Muslim Taskforce on Civil Rights and Elections (AMT), a coalition of 12 major Islamic organizations.

Vigil participants will call on public officials to help stop Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, restore the cease-fire and promote peace with justice in the Middle East during the coming year.

The really lovely thing about this event will be the weather. God will be sending very unusual 45 mph winds on a 27 degree F evening. How's that for an answer to the purpose of the vigil? They will freeze their notoroius Jew-hating asses off.

OK. Now we know the muslim talking points.

Here's what should be said: "Israel has finally had enough of the constant rocket attacks against its civilian population (modern weaponry, by the way), and so they're fighting back. Sadly, some civilian casualties will result, although they're doing everything humanly possible to avoid them."

Does it not occur to these moron's that there would be no Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip were it not for Hamas and it's terrorism against Israel? There will be no peace in the middle east as long as there are Islamist coward terrorists there. Israel did not break the cease fire, it was broken by Hamas. Just as the school bully will hit someone and run to hide behind mommy's apron strings when they get hit back, these cowardly terrorists strike at innocent civilians and hide behind women and children to try and avoid getting hit back.
