It was hard to avoid the drumbeat of "racist" in the lead up to Obama's run on the White House. Try as they might, the brownshirt media tried to concoct a narrative there was no story. In spite of that, the media, think Salem witch hunts, were dying to tar and feather anyone pro-McCain as a racist.
Obama was elected which in and of itself, is proof positive that the nation is indeed post racial. We purged those demons even if Wright, Farakhan and their ilk seek to keep it alive to serve their fiendish ends.
Old time racism in America is an historical footnote despite how viciously the moochers, looters, and demagogues of our fair society mine it to serve their own ends. There will always be fringe everything - America is indeed a melting pot in spite of the dividers that insist that their people or that people not assimilate and segregate themselves from integrating with all people.
The ugly secret is the real racism our state run media refuses to cover. It is a violent racism Obama encouraged and incited. Obama told his O-bots, get in their faces. Fight with them! His "well funded" civilian force eh?
Eye on a Minneapolis Campus Gary Larson, Frontpage (hat tip Atlas readers)
After taunting 18-year old freshman Annie Grossmann for wearing her McCain-Palin campaign button at an election night get-together, and "getting in her face," four women beat her for political views which, obviously, they did not share. Grossmann took verbal abuse at the party, then left for her dorm after it was clear, about 10 p.m., that her candidates had lost. She was followed by the four women into the shadows of a nearby skyway.
There she was beaten. The four women, all black, called Grossmann a "racist." She knew none of them. Nor did they know her, to her knowledge. It was that damn campaign button that evidently caused their frenzy. Their earlier taunts proved that. They were, Grossmann said, "rubbing her face in Obama's win."
"Why do you call me a racist when you don't even know me?" she screamed. Made no difference. Grossmann was felled by the largest of the four. She hit her head on the brick wall, and staggered back to her dorm. The other three black women at the beating chucked at this dark manifestation of partisan evil. They walked away laughing, offering no help to their victim. The banality of evil had asserted itself. And at four-to-one, it was also a cowardly act of mindless violence which, presumably, the four thought "normal."
Right here, right here in these United States, it happened, in my home state. A cruel re-awakening to the excesses of partisanship, in this case mixed with racism. That it happened on a college campus is hardly surprising. Not today. Campuses ooze with crazed partisan intolerance, places mostly where left-wing academia hold forth, along with politically correct staff, inculcating students with staunch, impenetrable biases, often leading to violent confrontation.
OT but related: Another heinous race crime of rape and murder, swept under the rug, under the rise of Obama. This is the new racism. This horrible crime is a hate crime. The media won't touch it, law enforcement is afraid of it. It is the same PC fear that stops the FBI from calling the honor killing of Amina and Sarah Said an honor killing. This is the new .... racism.

Prosecutors say robbery was the motive, but neither family believes it - though they have stopped short of calling it a hate crime.
Pietrzak, 24, who was born in Poland and raised in Bensonhurst, was white. His 26-year-old wife, who grew up near San Diego, was black. So are the four accused Marines.

"If it was a robbery, why didn't they come when nobody was home instead of in the dead of night - armed to the teeth?" Pietrzak-Varga wrote.
"Why did this happen? What motivated them? What was it about my son and daughter-in-law that inspired such hatred and loathing?"

Two of the four Marines served under Pietrzak, an Iraq War veteran, at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station in San Diego. They were charged last week with murder and rape.
Investigators are also checking whether one of the accused Marines, Lance Cpl. Tyrone Miller, had ties to the violent Crips gang.
The Pietrzaks had been married for just two months when they were murdered on Oct. 15. Their bodies were at the morgue when the wedding photos they planned to send with the thank-you cards arrived at their house.
A friend of Pietrzak family said the grieving mother wrote to Obama because her son and daughter-in-law admired the Democrat and voted for him a day before they were killed.
Pietrzak-Varga composed the letter on Veteran's Day. She described how they emigrated from Poland in 1994, how her son enlisted at age 17 after 9/11, how she raised him to be a good American. "He wanted to defend America," she wrote.
Pietrzak-Varga also said her daughter-in-law's parents need closure. "They need to know why she, as a soldier's wife, was killed," she wrote
