In the September 19 posting I pointed out that sources who attended an election training session this summer at Justice specifically were told that the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division intended to prosecute anyone it considered to be engaging in voter “intimidation” or “oppression.” I have seen the materials from the conference that substantiate that claim. One of the deputy chiefs, Mark Blumberg, told some attendees that anyone sending a mailer to voters telling them that you must be a citizen to vote was engaging in voter suppression and should be hauled before a grand jury.(anonymous)

This isn't new.

Almost every government agency and bureaucracy is riddled with leftists, career desk jockeys who've been contributing to the undermining of Bush for eight long years. Their jobs and futures are based on their ideology prevailing and remaining in power, and they are the best kind of Obamatons-- they require NO INSTRUCTIONS.

Obama doesn't have to tell anyone what to do. They're all fellow travelers.

So any lefty who derides the notion that Obama is giving instructions to his minions is setting up a straw man. No such instructions are necessary, and the minions are volunteers who know what to do.

And once Justice starts prosecuting people for the 'crime' of explaining to voters what the law is? Might as well rename the New York Times "Pravda".

Mark Blumberg should be the one hauled before the grand jury. If you are not a legal citizen of this country then you have no right to vote on any of our matters. Can you imagine trying to vote in any foreign country without being a citizen. I would think that by allowing people to vote who were not citizens and therefore not legal to vote would be suppressing the votes of the people who are legal citizens.

Enough is enough! We used to live in a free country. America's election should not be decided with a single vote of any person not eligible to vote! Our only peaceful hope in keeping our freedoms is our election process and it has already been compromised. Any hope of going in any other direction is futile, if we don't fight back while we have the chance! I think a class action lawsuit against Mark Blumberg is appropriate, especially since he will never be prosecuted for his remarks by the establishment. He is condoning breaking the law, and this has to be stopped. Who is with me on this? We can make a difference if we start now. There are conservative attorneys who will work for free, we just need to organize.

Makes no difference to THEM if you are citizen or not to vote, after all the president elect won't even prove HE is a citizen and not one of the so called vetters in charge will even ask him to show a birth certificate.
