Wildmon Behind Steele Attack

Hip Hop Republican sent this comment from his blog on to me. All I can say, if this Wildmon is against Michael Steele than you know Steele is a wonderful, fabulous human being. What better endorsement is Wildmon's denunciation. STEELE FOR CHAIRMAN!

The person leading the attack against Steele  is  Don Wildmon president of the American Family Association Mr. Wildmon is a person who has been denounded by Jewish groups for holding Anti Semitic views and who was ounce quoted as saying"Hollywood and the theater world is heavily influenced by Jewish people."  All this attacking Steele for not being religious is ood gven that he is a devout Catholic and actually studied for the priesthood.

Wildmon has stated that he believes obscene content on television and in movies is a result of the media being controlled by Jews, who intentionally place anti-Christian messages and activities into their programming to undermine Christianity.^[83][84][85] Wildmon further characterizes Jews as more supportive of homosexuals than "average" Americans.^[82]

Media Matters claimed an article in the March 2005 issue of AFA's Journal insinuated that raising children as Jews would lead to criminal lifestyles, and that it required a conversion to Christianity in order to make them productive members of society.^[82][86] The Journal also sells The McGuffey Readers, a series of children's books aimed at promoting Christianity to children, and which also claim that Jews are "superstitious" and have been rejected by God for being unfaithful to him.

Hi Pamela - Just joined but have received your emails for a few days and I am so pleased to be included. First:(OT) You are so drop-dead gorgeous and so drop-dead smart. We are fortunate that you are out there!

Second: Had no idea Steele was a Catholic - as is Clarence Thomas. I joined the flock in 2004, but I am proud to have a Jewish great grandfather whose wife was a Catholic! And they had 11 children! So I am in sympathy and in love with both faiths.

Also had no idea that Wildmon was anti-Semitic. I will check this all out and let my adult kids in on the facts. We have to support our own - all our faiths and all our good people. And I will be supporting Michael Steele, a real gentleman - I was before but this support is now doubly reinforced.

What I despise is what I have seen for the many years I have been involved in politics is the back-biting that occurs, and which is terribly destructive. Does not a man like Wildmon understand that conservative Jews and conservative Catholics are his dearest brothers and sisters? All are potential brothers and sisters and we pray for their enlightenment, but Michael Steele is more my true brother than a blood - or marriage - related liberal of ANY COLOR or ANY faith - or none.

I'm quite impressed by Steele myself (and not just because he physically towers over you and Robert in the photograph you posted :-). What the Republican party badly needs is someone who not only believes in the Republican ideals but is also very articulate in defining and defending these ideals to both the biased MSM as well as the general population; and I think we have such a person in Steele.
