Joe's crime? Being an American patriot, it seems and not an Islamofascist appeaser ala Obama, Biden, Pelosi and Reid.

There is talk that he will be removed from his position as Chair of the Homeland Security Committee of the Senate as early as today. If this is so, then we will definitely have a good idea that It and his buddies will not be Centrists and that we will definitely be in for rough times.

Emanuel once earned $16.2 million as a former investment banker and about his position as a board member of Freddie Mac, a quasi-government agency largely faulted for the current mortgage crisis.

Like Obama, Emanuel has compiled a hard-left voting record in Washington. He currently has a 4 percent rating from the American Conservative Union and has consistently voted in favor of higher taxes, regulation and liberal social issues.

“This is an ironic choice for a President-elect who has promised to change Washington, make politics more civil, and govern from the center,” said House Minority Leader Rep. John Boehner (R.-Ohio). (more here)

Rahm Emanuel has a record, as chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, of engaging in top-down machiavellian politics to thwart local candidates by introducing his “recruits”, and pumping in DCCC national support to those politicians, who have tended to be less progressive than the Democrats Emanuel has defeated. The choice of Emanuel by Obama signals that President Obama intends to disregard progressive interests in order to maintain his hold on power.
2. Perhaps the Chief of Staff, as an organizational leader, can be machiavellian without negatively affecting progressive policies.

I've often wondered why Joe Lieberman puts up with his party's tripe. I suppose it's because he considers himself a Liberal. But he's not a liberal in the sense that liberals mean it. I think is a liberal in the sense that I'm a liberal. Not to be confused with a leftist.
I'd like to make a prediction. Before this is over Rahm Emanuel will be hung out to dry like all of the others. Just watch. Once he's been used up, once O'brien has gained the racial brownie points, Rahm is in trouble.

During his campaign, President-elect Barack HUSSEIN Obama II kept talking about bipartisanship, getting along and change. What does he do?? He appoints one of the biggest Leftist mad dogs to be his chief of staff.

Zero, Emmanuel won't be in trouble. Why?? Because Leftists really do stick together. Just because Rahm Emmanuel is Jewish and Obama wants to court the Muslims, that will not be counted against Emmanuel because Obama and Emmanuel are of the far Left. Muslims won't mind too much either, because they can "use" both Obama and Emmanuel as tools.
