CHRISTIANS ATTACKED ARRESTED TO "PACIFY MUSLIMS"
Hey, it's what they do -- is reporting the news "insulting to Islam"? Just asking because the UN passed a resolution back in March that free (anyone for that matter) men are not allowed to defame Islam...
Christians Arrested, Shops Looted in Egypt AINA (hat tip sonia)
Authorities in an Egyptian village arrested 50 Coptic Christians, whose shops were then looted, to pacify Muslims following violence that erupted on Nov. 4 over a Christian boy's unwitting break with local custom.
Muslim villagers attacked the homes and shops of Coptic Christians in violence-prone Tayyiba after 14-year-old Copt Mina William failed to dismount his donkey as a funeral procession passed. Members of the procession reportedly beat William before completing the procession.
The processional members later attacked homes and shops of local Copts before police broke up the crowd with tear gas. A source told Compass that police arrested a disproportionate amount of Christians to create a false sense of equanimity and to pressure Christians into "reconciliation" with the attackers so the Copts would not prosecute them. Police in the village have since harassed Copts through intimidation, "fines" and racketeering, taking an estimated $50,000 from village Christians, sources said. Once police lifted the curfew, Coptic shopkeepers returned to their stores to discover that they had been looted. "It is unreasonable that a mistake by some 14-year-old should lead to all that rampage," a village Coptic priest known as Father Augustinus told weekly newspaper Watani. "Something ought to be done to halt all this."
Unreasonable? Indeed.

of course is unreasonable. how possibly can you reason with barbarians that never heard of such a thing like reasoning??

Dear Pamela;
This reminds me of something that happened to me, a few years ago, in a little town just outside of Cairo. I was screwing my favorite goat on the corner of We Hate Infidels Street, and Yoga Sucks Avenue, in the goatie position, (as opposed to the doggie position ) when the police came up to arrest me.
Unbeknownst to me, a city ordinance stated that you are not allowed to screw a goat between the hours of noon, and 3 PM, on Tuesdays, during the month of July. As luck would have it, it was only eleven-thirty A M.
So I was made to stay for three days in a sweatbox, with an insurance salesman.

Those Christians deserved it. The unmitigated gall, the barefaced audacity, the sheer
contempt displayed by that Christian boy by staying on his donkey while a holy peace-loving Muslim funeral procession passed is almost an act of war. As a Christian he should have known that when a high and mighty Muslim comes striding down the road, he had better get out of his way.
On a more serious note, the area in Canada where I live has also been invaded by muzzies, I do not care to drive and prefer walking and whenever there is a gaggle of muzzies (I think that is the right collective noun) on the sidewalk, they expect you to get out of the way. I have bruised my shoulder more than once.

a friend related this: in los angeles a jewish guy who was a regular in a black neighborhood for years was told by the black moslems to not walk on the sidewalk infront of their shop. they had learned he was pro-israel. a group of them stared at him menacingly while the owner said to him quietly: we don't want no zionists walking infront of this store.
hey martin, when is the overcome part gonna kick in??

I can't help it...,
"Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old. "
This kind of thing will not stand.

As much as I loathe saying it, it could've been much worse, given the cultural context and the high level of religious tension in Egypt. I don't like what happened, but I'm glad it wasn't worse: it could easily have been.
That being said, it troubles me that similar things have occurred in the U.S. lately. The mainstream media have largely ignored this, but the fact is that activists have been blocking traffic in L.A. over Prop 8, and roughing up little old ladies in Florida; and what was the newscasters' response to the latter situation? "There's obviously a lot of hate on both sides." One smiling little old lady, and a screaming mob of men? Hate on both sides? This is not just the typical inconsistency I've come to expect from the leftist illuminati; it's giving in to intimidation tactics.

Apparently dismounting your donkey when a funeral procession passes in the Middle Ages part of the world is the equivalent of us pulling our car over to the side of the road for the same reason. If turning on a car's headlights in the procession is also the norm, I wonder how they do that in Egypt, et al? Oh, that's right, donkeys don't have headlights. Neither do the asses that run that part of the world. Maybe Obama will send them some. Attached to new cars obtained free from General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler.

Even Coptic Christians are being harassed by Muslims here in the USA. St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church in Fairfax VA has found itself surrounded by Islam. A Muslim group is attempting to purchase all of the land around the Church so that they (the Muslims) can build a mosque next door to the Church.
