The Audacity of Michelle Obama UPDATED: NY POSTS REDACTS STORY
UPDATE: The NY Post has taken the story down ...... Page Six retracts
The source who told us last week about Michelle Obama getting lobster and caviar delivered to her room at the Waldorf-Astoria must have been under the influence of a mind-altering drug. She was not even staying at the Waldorf. We regret the mistake, and our former source is going to regret it, too. Bread and water would be too good for such disinformation.
Can you imagine if Cindy McCain did this? The New York Times would have team of asshats crawling all over the Waldorf kitchen. Chris Matthews would digging through the wet garbage chasing Cindi's empty oysters in the event she didn't eat every oyster. What waste! What disdain for the oyster-less poor.
It's good to be the queen!
This is over at Audacity of Hope (first reported on Page Six, New York Post) . And it won't matter. Nothing matters. It's like the country has been drugged and about to be raped.
On Socialism & Wealth Redistribution: Michelle Obama Spent $447.39 on an Afternoon Snack (hat tip Jim)
According to Michelle Obama, “The truth is, in order to get things like Universal Health Care and a revamped Education System, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of the pie so that someone else can have more.”
Oh, really? Who is the someone who gives up a piece of the pie?
On October, 15,2008, Michelle Obama spent $447.39 on room service (for 2) at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel for an afternoon snack of Lobster Hors D’Oeuvres ($50.00), Whole Steamed Lobsters (100.00), Iranian Osetra Caviar ($150.00), and Bollinger Champagne ($44.00)
See the Michelle Obama wealth redistribution quote below, and the enlarged receipt for the sumptuous snack, signed by Michelle Obama.Sounds exquisite, doesn’t it, if your culinary tastes run to lobster, caviar and champagne? But this insight into the Obama lifestyle makes us wonder how often Joe ‘the Plumber’ Wurzelbacher of Toledo, Ohio and his family eat lobster with all the trimmings.
How often does the average person eat like this? Or is it only those who make $250,000 or more? Or only the 95% of the population laboring under the illusion that they will get tax breaks under the Obama Wealth Redistribution Plan?
First reportedon Page Six the NY POST (hat tip from Hotel Chatter):
Talking about Love in an Elevator-style (that's "Living it up, while we're going down" if you don't follow Aerosmith), the NY Post is reporting that Michelle Obama ordered up a frenzy of room service afternoon treats while Barack was in a meeting the other day:
While he was at a meeting at the Waldorf-Astoria at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Michelle Obama called room service and ordered lobster hors d'oeuvres, two whole steamed lobsters, Iranian caviar and champagne, a tipster told Page Six.
That's a whole lotta lobster. Also, we knew the Waldorf was swank and stuff but we didn't know they had this kind of fare on the in-room dining menu. Maybe this would please our picky friend?
But Michelle wasn't the only one ordering up a storm. The hotel also hosted the FFANY's Shoes on Sale event where 33,000 pairs of shoes were sold, according to Womens' Wear Daily. The event raised $1 million for breast cancer research.

Just another plain skanky nazi aiming to use government power to get a quality of life that she could NEVER achieve by merit and talent in the open market.
And the same goes for her big-talk no-accomplishment conman husband.
Just plain old stinking lying thieving nazis.
We've seen them all before.
We watched them destroy Germany back when Berlin was considered the flower of Europe.
And now they're after America.

They should invite their friend Fidel up for a stay and they could all pluck chickens in the Waldorf's suites the way the Cubans did back in the 1960s!

Under Obamanomics, it would still be possible to do very well for yourself financially: Be a politician, a lawyer/lobbyist with government connections, or an executive in a politically-correct industry with subsidy potential.
"Progressives," and even old-line liberals, tend to think of government as an idealized parent-figure, and don't grasp that it is comprised of individuals who are themselves economic actors, working to maximize their own personal power and wealth (like lobster/caviar-ordering ability) as much as individuals in the private sector.

"All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others." ...you know who
Bollinger's? She's been watching too many Bond movies
The coming politburo should be interesting as we all adopt crypto blogs when the fairness doctrine is rammed down our throats while they zip around in their limos and tell us about their great diplomatic victories.
My wife's eyeballs keep rolling up in her head whenever she thinks about an Obama victory

Lobster the other whitey meat.

Something is fake here, because those two signatures are EXACTLY the same.

Perhaps she practices a lot.... all those edicts she'll be signing.
If it's a fake, the leftards will be all over it like white on rice ...

My question to Obama supporters would be:
Are you happy to know that those of you who gave $20.00 to support your candidate that it is being spent on a $450. snack? If I was you I would want to know if it was your donation that was used to stay at The Waldorf-Astoria and eating Lobster. I would question someone who is suppose to be an advocate for the middle class and poor, then hypocritically do the opposite. How do you feel, thinking your dollars were spent to make a difference and bring change then spend it on a very expensive meal. Did you compute that it took 22 people contributing $20.00 to pay for that meal? Will you in your lifetime stay at the Waldorf-Astoria?
With a campaign that has raised more money than any other campaign in history, are you sure it is being well managed? Obama, by the way, claims that he knows about how to run something, since he has ran a campaign. Think carefully.....if a candidate would spend campaign money this way, how will he spend your tax dollars?

It all goes to her hips.

Nouveau riche. A $150 bottle of Bollinger at the Waldorf is last weeks vintage. The Iranian caviar is crap, no comparison to Beluga. Same goes for the shirt he wore at that white tie affair, I, who is neither a presidential candidate nor wealthy, would not be seen dead dressed like that.

"This is over at Audacity of Hope. And it won't matter. Nothing matters. It's like the country has been drugged and about to be raped."
And when the country wakes up and sees the ugly 400 pounder in bed next to 'em, it will be too late...the deed will have been done.

Boozing it up at 4:00 in the afternoon on a work day?
Sounds like she's got a drinking problem.
What kind of decisions was she making later that evening?
If I did that I'd get fired.

In Obamatopia, everyone -like these everyday-regular Obama-democrat-folks, will be eating little snacks like this.
Right?
Posted by: TINBH | Monday, October 20, 2008 at 12:47 PM
There is something very curious about this, I suspect it is fake. I do not think you can buy a bottle of Bollinger retail at $44, hotel prices are 2-3 times retail. If it is real, it is a very loud scream : I am not a muzzie, all three items are haram- unclean by muzzie lore.

Quite a pair the Obamas.
HE'S America's Hitler!
SHE'S America's Marie Antoinette!

Looking closely at this receipt, you can tell that it is a fake. The signatures are EXACTLY alike. No one, no matter how many times they sign their name, will sign it EXACTLY alike each time with no discrepancies.
Also, if this receipt were real, you couldn't blame her for the amount of the tip. At most upscale hotels, you have no choice. It is automatically calculated and applied to your bill.
Finally, perhaps someone would say that my husband and I are living the high life and are extremely unaccountable for our spending actions when we spend $43 at Arby's. To some, that is more than they would even DARE to spend at a fast food restaurant. Putting it into context though, we have a family of 8. IF we go to a fast food restaurant, the bill is always high. So we plan in advance. There are numerous reports that Michelle Obama shops at Target and is a thrifty shopper. What is there, then, that should make us believe she has all of a sudden decided to throw caution to the wind and spend $400 on such extravagances?
To me, it seems more likely that this was something put together to convince people not to vote for Barack Obama. Sad, but true.
Now, I am not saying that you should vote for Obama or that you should or should not vote for McCain. I'm just saying, isn't politics enough of a dirty game that we shouldn't add our own 2 cents to it like this?
Have your opinions but it just isn't right to try to convince someone else that their opinion is wrong by falsifying information about that candidate. That goes for BOTH sides.

Sorry, Pam, but you've failed as a citizen journalist. Michelle Obama wasn't even in NYC on the day you're claiming. She was in Fort Wayne, Indiana, giving a speech. Here's a link.
You're not very good at telling the truth, Pam. Fact checking gets in the way of being a hatemonger, I guess.
Posted by: brad | Monday, October 20, 2008 at 04:42 PM
re michelle obama's location. the time on the receipt says 4pm. the speech she gave could've been either earlier in the day or later. they definitely jet set... we'd need to see the time of the speech given in ft. wayne. time and day. the article is posted on 10/15, the same day as the hotel stay. so the speech could've been given the night before.

re michelles' tab:
hey, spread the wealth around baby!!!!
my guess is that this tab is more the norm rather than the exception.
don't you just hate those extravagant socialists who tell the rest of us to tighten our belts.
well, we know what happenned to marie antoinette.

This is not true. You need to update this post and tell your readers this is not true.
I mean, come on. Be better than the man you're supporting, why don't ya? Tell the truth.

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” Obama said.
LOL

Snopes replies:
Michelle Obama was in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Wednesday afternoon: her
speech began shortly after 2 p.m. She could not have been 580 miles away
at the Waldorf Astoria two hours later.
The NY Post still shows the article but I could not open it.

Oh, BTW, "Page 6" retracted the Michelle Obama story. It was completely WRONG.
Thought for sure you'd want to know so you could correct your website. Let's find out how long it takes for you to take this down.
And, finally, can I just say that it sounds like most of your readers are ignorant bigots. Good job. It must make you feel good all over to make this World a better place.

Hello? Anybody here?
This story is a lie. Even the Post had the good grace to retract it and apologize.
Come on. Do the right thing.

More lies from an idiot Jewish Blog.

I've never stayed at the Waldorf=Astoria, but the receipt looks fake to me simply because Hilton is very specific about it being the Waldorf=Astoria, not the Waldorf-Astoria (note the = instead of -). I can't believe that they would allow their receipts to go against this policy.
Please post a retraction/apology.
