ATLAS BROKE THE STORY ON ILLEGAL OBAMA CONTRIBUTIONS. All of our hard work pays off.  Finally, the RNC has stepped out of its self induced coma and is taking some action.

I have been exposing these egregious acts since July (Obama's Contributions: Foreign and Domestic) and nothing has been done, and the media has averted it eyes.

The RNC is a  tough party to support. They are so lethargic.

UPDATE: Newsweak has it here - cites all my work, doesn't cite Atlas  Exclusive (typical big media pigs). And the got it wrong. Isikoff is taking plagiarizing lessons from Biden. The Newsweek article includes statement by the  Obama campaign that they returned all the money from Palestinian brothers. The records show they did not.   Also, they do not point out that they sent the tee shirts to GAZA.  The brothers had them and sold them.

Congratulations, Pamela. My own view, FWIW, is that the FEC is a worthless organization, It never does anything during a campaign, because its actions might affect the election. (Duh). It always waits until afterwards, when it doesn't matter. If the guilty party wins the election, I absolutely guarantee that nothing will be done. If the guilty party loses the election, that party might have to pay a small fine.

The real purpose of the FEC is to insure that smaller parties never get anywhere. The FEC will put up numerous roadblocks and other impediments to 3rd parties, knowing that such parties have no political clout.

The FEC, like most other federal agencies, serves no real purpose other than to employ bureaucrats.

... Because of McCain's opposition to politicians who feed from the public trough, there is a road open to him Tuesday.It's the Chicago Way.

Obama definitely does not want to go there. It would be a forced march for him. Obama's gauzy references to Chicago involve baseball and where he met Michelle and those blissful hours he spent as a community organizer. What he doesn't want discussed is his evolution from independent Democrat to potential White House enabler of the corrupt Chicago Democratic machine.

The Chicago Way is a road the Beltway media establishment dare not travel. It must frighten them. It conflicts with their fairy tale about Obama as reformer, and they're much too busy rummaging through garbage cans in Alaska to bother about Chicago's political alleys.

But any child in Illinois knows the Chicago Way leads through the most politically corrupt city in America, in a politically corrupt state, where muscle trumps reason, where Democratic warlords brazenly promote their offspring into public office, where even souls are offered up for sale.

The national media have never wanted to understand, much less expose, political corruption here, or examine how Obama prospered under the Daley machine's guidance. A trip down the Chicago Way would force them to re-examine their ridiculous narrative that sets Obama as a political reformer riding a white horse, or is that a winged unicorn?

A tour of the Chicago Way isn't without risks for McCain. Though his supporters would say it puts Obama in proper context, Democrats would certainly cry "guilt by association." Yet the national urgency to view Obama as a political life-form several evolutionary rungs above Chicago's common political hacks is not only a mistake, it's disingenuous. So on Tuesday night, McCain might ask:

How, for example, could change agent Obama endorse the boss of the Chicago machine, Mayor RICHARD DALEY, after Daley's friends and drinking buddies, white guys with mob connections, received $100 million in city affirmative action contracts, a crime that sent one of them to federal prison?
The mayor said there is no such thing as a machine. Does Obama truly believe there is no machine that runs Chicago and Cook County? Then he should declare it. And, if so, then how does he explain the Daley hacks sitting in federal prison for rigging thousands of city jobs?

McCain could ask about the machine trolls Obama endorsed per Daley's direction. And what of Obama's own political mentor, the legendary city sewer inspector/Illinois Senate President EMIL JONES (D-ComEd), who upon retirement will convert almost $600,000 in campaign cash and stuff it into his pockets, and begin cashing a fat public pension, as his son, Emil III, takes Daddy's place in the legislature, courtesy of the Democratic bosses.

Is this the change we've been waiting for?

McCain could ask about Obama's real estate fairy, the convicted influence peddler TONY REZKO, who is now apparently cooperating with federal investigators probing the dealings of Democratic Gov. ROD BLAGOJEVICH, who also campaigned as a reformer. Rezko is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 28. How was the Rezko-Obama real estate deal, the one that Obama himself described as "boneheaded," never made a subject of a Senate Ethics Committee investigation?

McCain also might offer up some straight talk about his own involvement in the KEATING 5 scandal two decades ago -- and how he was dishonored by that, and whether the shame changed his views on political corruption.

Hillary Clinton tried to link Obama to Chicago's politics during her party's primaries, but she was shouted down. Back then, at a "Tribune" editorial board meeting, I asked Obama about his place in Chicago's corrupt history.

"I think that all of you have been following my career for some time," he said. "I think I have done a good job in rising in this environment without being entangled in some of the traditional problems of Chicago politics. I know there are those, like John Kass, who would like me to decry Chicago politics more frequently."

Just the corrupt parts, I said.

"I'll leave that to his editorial commentary," Obama continued, "but I think it's fair to say that I have conducted myself in my public office with great care and high ethical standards."

Is Obama corrupt, the way the caricature of Chicago-style corruption is often drawn, with some beefeater alderman reeking of gin, stuffing an envelope into his breast pocket? No, though he came close with Rezko in that smelly deal for the purchase of Obama's home.

But Obama looked the other way in order to prosper and assiduously avoided conflict with the machine to the point of embrace. In this, he offered Americans a glimpse at the REAL MAN inside that nice suit, the Chicago Way.

You might like this... it's a detailed analysis of Obama's Pakistan trip....

Information about Obama's trip(s) to Pakistan is not easily had, especially with the press acting as if they are Stephanie Powers and Obama is Damien. This should have been researched long ago, but the Ivory Tower types absolutely love stories of the REAL experiences they lack (e.g., sharing the hydrant water with the homeless guy), especially from other elitists who overcame barriers to their success, suggesting Ivory Tower elitism is truly available to all. That's why they lionize fraudulent reporter's stories, and hand out Pulitzer prizes to people who make up the best stuff about heroin babies, and the like. Forget coming from suburbia, or being a hetero white male... you have to invent a difficult past over which you triumphed. So they just soak Obama up, and don't bother investigating or asking pointed questions, the same as for those stories from fraudulent reporters -- this is aside from the fact so many are deeply ignorant of Islam they don't even know which questions to ask.

We'll start by analyzing Obama's trip to Pakistan “while he was in college,” which was misrepresented by his campaign, as well as by sloppy reporting, as occurring in 1981, and as variously reported, at one of several different times of the year. But unless it was the 81/82 school Xmas break, when he was supposedly living "like a monk" in NY, then it had to be 80/81 instead. For it was not likely in summer, 1981, because in Jacobabad, Pakistan, where he went to stay for 3 days as a house guest with the Soomro's (more on them later), for partridge hunting in the same region, the temperature hits 120 in the summer. Further, partridge season in Pakistan is Oct --March, and spring break doesn't last 3 weeks at Occidental College (hereafter Oxy) with a semester system, so the time for Obama's Pakistan trip had to have been during Xmas break, Dec/Jan, 80/81 (which may have still placed him in Pakistan in 81 – early, Jan). Xmas break at Occidental (assuming schedule hasn't changed much since 1980), only lasts December into January, so Obama probably spent most of it in Pakistan, if he was there “about 3 weeks,” rather than in Indonesia. That also happens to be the time of year tourists are recommended to visit because the weather is much nicer. Also, Obama's half-sister Maya says he came home Xmas, 1980, and there has been no mention by Obama of any other trip.
The Times of India corrects the basic geographical error in the report (Rohter NYT, et al) by pointing out -- via an interview with Thumalapally, who is from Hyderabad India and was Obama's roomate, summer of 1980 -- that Obama visited Hyderabad, Pakistan, rather than Hyderabad, India (the error being attributed to Obama's connex with Thum...), and indeed, the road to Jacobabad from Karachi passes thru Hyderabad, which is only about 90 miles from Karachi. Hyderabad, India, on the other hand, is over 1000 miles from Karachi.
At any rate, one report has Obama visiting Karachi “with” his friend Wahid Hamid, and another report has Obama meeting Hamid in Karachi. It seems unlikely Hamid would fly to Obama's family Xmas in Indonesia, hang out, and then fly with Obama to Karachi. So if he actually traveled “with” Obama it seems likely Karachi would have been the first stop. It would also have depended on the school calendar. If school was out in early Dec and started again in early Jan (as most do), in order for Obama to get 3 consecutive weeks in Pakistan, and be with family in Indonesia on Xmas day, he would have had to go to Pakistan first. Of course, even if he did not travel “with” Hamid, he would have had to carve out the “about 3 weeks” from the overall trip, so perhaps the entire trip was lengthy, time-wise (students know how to arrange early exits from school for longer vacations). His transcripts may reveal his probable travel dates.

As to the reports that Obama went to Pak “between” Oxy and Columbia, when he transferred , that would have meant (unless he completely ditched spring 81, at OXY) travel to Pakistan in the summer. But his partridge hunt in Larkana is a corroborated story, so spring and summer seem extremely unlikely. Besides, he wound up sharing that water from the hydrant with the homeless guy in NY, August, 1981, before he started Columbia in the fall. Not likely he ditched his first quarter at Columbia, and he says his mom visited him in NY “that summer,” anyway, so the timeline really gets squeezed for any other 3 week (+) trip than over the Xmas break, 1980. So his so-called '81 trip was really a carryover from December of 1980, when the hostage crisis in Tehran was still in full bloom. Which almost nails it down, except for a report from the India Times, which adds further levels of confusion (or perhaps gets it exactly right-- who can tell?):
“Yet another, Wahid Hamid, was the one Obama travelled to meet in Karachi after graduation, but stayed with Chandoo's family. Hamid is a senior company executive living in New York.”

Graduation? That could have been after Hamid's graduation, except that Hamid graduated in 83 (keep track now, it's not easy), but Chandoo was a graduate of '81, so it was perhaps all his trip, maybe entirely paid for as a sort of graduation present, but that still leaves the problem of the weather and partridge hunting season.
The report(s), as I pointed out, also claimed the trip was "on the way back" from Indonesia to Oxy College in LA, but unless he flew the extra 2000 miles to go back thru NY -- skirting closed Iranian airspace along the way – LA is the opposite direction from Indonesia, via Karachi. It may be that, by claiming the trip was "on the way back," he is deliberately casting it in a certain light, as if it were nothing special, just a stop off for a few weeks at some friends, rather than, perhaps, as the main reason for the trip. So I am very curious as to whether the trip to Pakistani came before the stop in Indonesia, because, after all, it is Indonesia that is "on the way back" from Karachi to LA, not the other way around.
Also, Maya says he wanted to start using, "Barack", instead of "Barry," Xmas 1980, while Obama says the name change came later, summer of 81. According to one teacher, Obama still wanted to be called “Barry” “winter semester,” which would have been just before the Karachi trip. There are also hints he was mulling the name change already; perhaps the trip merely convinced him to use his given name instead of the anglicized variant Maya said was opposed by his mom and grandparents. So it is of interest as to whether Pakistan came before, or after, Indonesia.

Perhaps it has happened before, but it seems unlikely; this could be the first US presidential election in which BOTH of the candidates may be of the Manchurian variety! Since I know a bit about Islam I am researching Obama. I'll leave others to determine what combination of whistles and/or words are required to make MaCain hop on one foot and cluck like a chicken.

Over the weekend, John McCain's top adviser announced their plan to stop engaging in a debate over the economy and "turn the page" to more direct, personal attacks on Barack Obama.

In the middle of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, they want to change the subject from the central question of this election. Perhaps because the policies McCain supported these past eight years and wants to continue are pretty hard to defend.

But it's not just McCain's role in the current crisis that they're avoiding. The backward economic philosophy and culture of corruption that helped create the current crisis are looking more and more like the other major financial crisis of our time.

During the savings and loan crisis of the late '80s and early '90s, McCain's political favors and aggressive support for deregulation put him at the center of the fall of Lincoln Savings and Loan, one of the largest in the country. More than 23,000 investors lost their savings. Overall, the savings and loan crisis required the federal government to bail out the savings of hundreds of thousands of families and ultimately cost American taxpayers $124 billion.

Sound familiar?

In that crisis, John McCain and his political patron, Charles Keating, played central roles that ultimately landed Keating in jail for fraud and McCain in front of the Senate Ethics Committee. The McCain campaign has tried to avoid talking about the scandal, but with so many parallels to the current crisis, McCain's Keating history is relevant and voters deserve to know the facts -- and see for themselves the pattern of poor judgment by John McCain.
