O'REILLY AND FOX NEWS CARRY OBAMA'S WATER
I think it disgusting that O'Reilly, who has been trying to get an interview with Obama for years, took the bait and agreed to interview Obama the night of McCain's speech. What a whore. Worse, they promised to go easy on him.
Why? Why serve Obama on McCain's big night. Murdoch serving his Saudi masters. We have seen these softball tactics, like handling a mental patient, on all the left stream media outlets when they interview Obama so why FOX on McCain's moment in the sun?
Obama and Fox News: 'Tentative Truce?' Sheffield, Newsbusters
As Fox News prepares to interview Barack Obama tonight during prime time, TV journalist Michael Wolff details a meeting between Barack Obama, Fox News president Roger Ailes, and News Corporation president Rupert Murdoch in which the Fox execs promised to lay off the Democratic presidential candidate.
According to Wolff's telling, this was more than a mere tete-à-tete, this was a full-on diplomatic meeting (initiated at Murdoch's request), conducted only after preparation and with preconditions from the Obama campaign.
The apparent purpose? To smooth things over in the event that Obama defeats John McCain:
Early in the summer that Obama relented and a secret courtesy meeting was arranged. The meeting began with Murdoch sitting down, knee to knee with Obama, at the Waldorf-Astoria. The younger man was deferential—and interested in his story [...]
Then, after he said his piece, Murdoch switched places and let his special guest, Roger Ailes, sit knee to knee with Obama.
Obama lit into Ailes. He said that he didn’t want to waste his time talking to Ailes if Fox was just going to continue to abuse him and his wife, that Fox had relentlessly portrayed him as suspicious, foreign, fearsome—just short of a terrorist.
Ailes, unruffled, said it might not have been this way if Obama had more willingly come on the air instead of so often giving Fox the back of his hand.
A tentative truce, which may or may not have vast historical significance, was at that moment agreed upon.
"A tentative truce?" A truce "which may or may not have vast historical significance?" What, exactly, does that mean? One hopes it doesn't mean that Fox News is going to start covering Obama the way their competitors, especially MSNBC, cover Obama.

I stopped watching O-Riled-Up and his "bloviations" many months ago. He just rubs me the wrong way. He comes across as a pompous arse. I don't think too many conservatives will be watching. It will definitely be slooowww uh pitch.

First, the interview resulted in the acquisition of a few incrementally-incriminating quotes; this will be helpful.
Second, he's airing a few more segments next week, so it is fortunately untrue that he did this tonight solely to satisfy his promise on a night when McCain will predictably dominate the news cycle.

O'reilley, Murdock and Fox News should remember who bought them the ticket to the dance. You don't spit on those conservative viewers.

Hate to be the one to tell FOX but that ain't Obama's water bucket he's giving them...

WHAT?!?!? No preconditions for meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but there were preconditions for doing an interview with FOX; what a panty wasted, little turd. He's so afraid the American people will see his true colors that I bet that one of the preconditions was getting all the questions to be asked ahead of time and that he had editorial rights.

Here is an email I sent to O'Reilly concerning this subject:
Mr Bill O'Reilly,
I have lost all respect for you as a person due to the timing of your Obama interview. Your acceptance of Obama's ruse to disrupt the RNC with his agreeing to 'chat' with you has caused me to question your integrity as a person. So obsessed with pleasing your ego by 'chatting' with the unrependant community organizer you have whored yourself to the Obama campaign. All that no-spin talk you heap on the MSM about being in the tank for Obama is absolved with your moral failing in the face of being manipulated by Obama. You are no better than the Olberman's and Matthews' you scold on a nightly basis. My objection to this 'chat' with Obama is not based on doing the interview but your timing of when to air it. You would have been better served to conduct the interview and air it after the RNC not during. You have lost me as a fan and viewer.
Boycott O'Reilly!
PS,
How can you adequately explain and face up to the folks who have purchased and read your books? Explain your groveling before the majesty of Obama to those kids that write you and tell you how much your Kids Are Americans Too book has been an inspiration to them. You have now gulped from the cup of Kool-Aid.

WRpeach that's so true! LOL! Regarding the timing of O'Reilly's interview with Obama - there's another angle to view this from. Your average Liberal isn't likely to tune in to FOX news or McCain's acceptance of the nomination on any channel. Fox is poison to liberals, but when serving the Obama kool-aid, they simply cannot resist. Fox took advantage of that. O'Reilly promises that the remainder of this interview is fairly extensive and 'provocative'. If Dr. Bob above is correct in his assumption for " acquisition of a few incrementally-incriminating quotes" . . .and we know Obama provides for the masses when answers aren't fed through a teleprompter - this could be quite entertaining. Pass the popcorn, please.

Sam, great letter, kudos buddy!!! (Omega Man movie is awesome, unlike that cheap spinoff by Will "Scientology" Smith)
Dr. Bob, you are totally right, they exist and prosper due to us, and now they defecate on their base to score a cheap interview...
McCain had the decency to not divulge the VP on the night Barry's Invesco Nurember Rally.
A traitor who already has the MSM, CNN, MSNBC and NutRoots and now he wants to dominate Fox, too...what the f*** is this Cuba, Venezulea, North Korea, PRC????

BTW, in the interview, at least the first part last night, O'Reilly let him get away with lying about Iraq and Afghanistan.
Moreover, he did not challenge him more on the statement where he, out of all people, stated that McCain would not go to the caves in Pakistan to get UBL...
Lastly, apparently Obama is Von Clauswitz or Ceasar or Napoleon or McArthur or Patton, he is now an expert on military tactics?????????????????????
His 300 advisor didn't even tell him 3 days after the fact that Russia (and the PRC) has veto power in the UN Sec Council!!!!!!!!!

if you watch just the first few minutes of this it is very revealing. look at obama's face and body language when o'reilly tries to pin him on what to do about iran and nukes.
obama gets this very angry (call it dictatorial) look in his eyes and start jabbing his hand towards o'reilly. the real obama, you can see. his heroes are the leftist dictators he secretly admires...they want to rule the world and be worshipped as saviors. they are insane. pay close attention people. underneath the veneer there is something very bad here. there is an account of a leader in greek/roman times. this leader was such a sweet talker to all the people, they loved him and when he got into power he was merciless.
take note.

At first I was not going to watch it because I knew Bill was going to treat him with kid gloves. I had my suspicions that something had transpired between Murdoch and THE ONE COMMUNITY ORGANIZER MANCHILD. Atlas as usual confirms with facts what I thought and felt in my gut. Way to go Atlas!
This was a low blow by Fox considering how gracious McCain was the night of THE ONE COMMUNITY ORGANIZER MANCHILD's speech to the fifth column at Barakopolis, BUT I must say the gaffetastic moment over the surge gave the Sarahcuda some major ammo, and she used it the next day! LMAO! So, in the end this interview in my "non-cosmopolitan" small town, opinion will only become a gift for our side. He just cannot help being who he really is! Just look at the press conference after the interview with Bill. He was almost green! He was visibly angry over the questions and manages to bring up him being a law school professor, and slammed Palin by saying she had only been under the political microscope for 4 days and HE, had been in this for 19 months! LMAO again! Kirsten Powers, who is most definitely Left, said last night on Brit Hume's show that the Dems are off message, lashing out in the wrong way and mentioned how bad this press conference was for THE ONE. WHOOAA NELLY!
What really torched me was Friday night when Bill had on the Tonya chick body language reader. Tonya said that she had no baseline to really know how to correctly read Sarah Palin's body language during the speech on Wednesday night. However, she proceeded to call Sarah "arrogant" when she was delivering her speech! Not confident or defending herself from the malicious attacks via the MSMLSDs, but "arrogant". Then they turned to Bill's interview with THE ONE COMMUNITY ORGANIZER MANCHILD, and according to Tonya, he was "powerful". Really? What I saw was a whiner and true arrogance. He totally embodied or duplicated all those pictures that we see of him with that nose turned up. He was not strong and in my opinion could not answer Bill's questions with a straight or direct answer. If he cannot stand up to Bill then how in the world is he going to deal with Putin or Imajerk? Insert crickets chirping here!
From what I have read all over the internet, Bill is really getting hammered for airing this Thursday night. May the slams continue for caving and for the timing in the airing of the interview. Fox had better watch it. There is a backlash of some really ticked off people across the fruited plains and if Fox was smart they would step away from acting in this manner. They can interview him and have fair and balanced coverage, but this really crossed the line in the timing.

Alan Colmes has devoted his webstite to the republishing of every smear against Palin he can find.
