Obama: "MY Muslim Faith"
Oops. Did he just say that?
But he has always insisted he wasn't. I am confused. (hat tip miira)
But he is a liar. That's foe shizzle.
UPDATE: And in other Manchurian Candidate news:
Obama’s Communist Mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, Under FBI Investigation for 19 Years
UPDATE: For those that think it was "twisting words by selectively editing clips", here is the actual unedited ABC interview (minute 2:53) with George Stefanopoulos on ABC News today.
Obama, stop blaming the Republicans for your lies

Darn Mira, beating me giving it to Atlas by, I guess, a mile. In any case, this is another Obama Carter moment, and maybe worse.

Has anyone else seen the ad about Bristol in JPOST ? Take a look .

I caught this this morning too, and the statement as given was so clear, so smooth, so comfortable, it speaks for itself: as shown in innumerable posts on this site, Obama had a very significant immersion and education in Islam, especially during his time in Indonesia.
The statement was a Freudian slip: he was stating the truth, what he was thinking about.

Hot Air is claiming it is not true, but selective editing. Me, I think allahpundit is full of it.

pamela:
everywhere one goes with obama, it leads back to either of two things, his muslim heritage and religion or his radical leftist/communist beliefs.
to his family, his brothers and sisters and grandmother, who are muslim. to raila o'dinga, whose father and obama's father were communist operatives together in kenya, who is obama's first cousin, who signed a pledge to impose sharia upon kenya if islam would help him gain the presidency, and whom obama campaigned while a u.s. senator and for whom obama sought to help with "diplomatic influence" after odinga started the violent coup attempt to gain power after he lost a legally conducted election. endorsed by ghadafi. for whom illegal campaign contribut flooded in from foreign nationals, many muslim, adn many (when identifiable)of whom had jihad connections, as in the famous brothers from gaza who illegally contributed to his campaign. obama's most blatant show of affinity for jihad interests has to be his promise to prosecute george bush and dick cheney for criminal offenses in connection with the detaining of terrorists at gitmo. (does obama realize he will also have to prosecute every member of congress who ever voted funding for the gitmo detention program, on the basis of accomplice liability? anyone who does anything to aid, abet, further or encourage another in "criminal" conduct is equally and originally liable for that conduct: surely "financing" something would be comprehended by that language.)
his political heritage is radical leftist and communist, from his pedophile childhood influence "uncle frank," to his tutorial by saul alinsky disciples, to his friendship and allegiance to bill ayers, the weather underground bomber, to the latest revelations about his relationship to the anti semite khalid al mansour.
obama is simply dirty.
and, the mainstream media is complicit in hiding it. by so acting, they reveal their own agenda, and the fact that they are increasingly radical and leftist.

He's a globalist who will sell out U.S. interests to the UN; he's a liberal who will pursue an economic policy of wealth redistribution; and, he's chosen a squadron of anti-Israel foreign policy advisers who will advocate selling Israel down the river to appease our terrorist enemies...
and these are all good reasons to vote against him.
BUT, he's clearly a Christian, his remarks clearly meant something like "my [so-called] 'Muslim faith' [as is alleged by various detractors]", not that he is actually a Muslim.
Honestly, there are lots of good reasons to vote against Obama, but misinterpreting these statements or otherwise insinuating that he's a closet Muslim is kind of silly.

This is the same man who said that the Adhan at sundown was "One of the prettiest things I have ever heard". I'm baffled that a man such as him (an apostate) hold Islam in such high regard.

I don't know if it was a Freudian slip as was suggested above, but George Snuffleuppagus did catch the phrase and audibly corrected it in another cut of the interview within the same video selections.
Snuffleuppagus should not have corrected the phrase, but questioned the use. By correcting, he showed his bias toward this candidate.

Indigo, I agree. Moreover, when corrected Obama didn't say - that's not what I meant -- it was yeah, my Christian faith.
It's not that big a deal, but it is telling - like it or not. Freudian.

ivirt said, "BUT, he's clearly a Christian." Obama spoke to the graduates of Wesleyan College saying, "It's because you have an obligation to yourself. Because our individual salvation depends on collective salvation." The idea of "collective salvation" is pure Marxism (Liberation Theology in particular); there is nothing Christian about it. It is absolutely antithetical to traditional Christianity.

I agree, Pamela. I later saw a longer clip somewhere else and Obama didn't skip a beat to express any surprise that he said anything amiss. I've had words come out of my mouth that were not those I had in my brain. My reaction was to ask, 'What did I say? Geez! That's not what was in my head!'
I now must backtrack and say, 'DOH!'

pamela:
i have gone back and watched the full abc interview w/ g. stefanopoulus, and obama clearly says "my muslim faith". there is nothing within the context of the interview suggesting that obama had any reason to be confused about what he was saying.
he did not say "my so called" or "my purported" or "my alleged" muslim faith. he did not correct his statement when stefanopoulus pointed his statement out to him. he did not say, yes, george, thank you for pointing out my mistatement.
at some point will he say something that he stands behind. no question mark. it is a rhetorical question.

obama had the opportunity to clarify his words.
he didn't.
freudian slips or not, better for the truth to come out now, when there is still time to prevent disaster

What remains shocking is that the democrat party has packaged this Muslim up and presents him as our next president.
What planet are the donkeys on ?
The democrat party has itself become anti-American. Too bad. If you are a democrat, please leave the USA. Putin could use a few good men or retarded idoits, whatever. As for the donkey attack wing, the MSM are in decline with no end in sight. Their key players (Olbermann and Mathews) seem to be masters at destroying themselves. God is good.

There are enough questions about Obama's background that should raise red flags without us having to overplay this obvious gaffe on the part of Obama.
