I have been listening to people speak all day and I will tell you unequivocally that Voight's remarks were the clearest, most moving, brilliant in its simplicity. He has been a supporter of the vets for decades. He is such a mensch and the vets loved him! What a case he made for Mccain, Palin, and .... America.
He was moved to tears as was I.
You Must watch this Video:
Part II
Will Breazeale (pronounced Brazil) Iraq war vet running for District 7 North Carolina (watch my cpac video with him here) , and Congressman Mike Rogers
William Chatfield, Director of Selective [corrected]Service and a couple of great American heroes.
Former Governor of Wyoming and Chatfield
The speakers
Voight Speaks
The speech was so moving, please watch it all

I never would have believed that Voight was a conservative. The man endorsed McCain for President. I like anyone who supports our troops, defenders of our liberty.

Pamela, you are right. John Voight's speech was terrific simply because you could see he spoke straight from his heart. What a contrast to the empty rhetoric of someone like Obama! John Voight is absolutely right about the fact that this election is probably the most crucial in the history of the USA. All of us have to really mobilize ourselves to make sure that McCain wins this election.
