I do not understand the RNC
I am here at Xcel Center and there is no bloggers row. No place for Atlas to sit her Atlas.
Un-frickin-believable. I have asked everyone and they are like "you are the
third person to ask me that" (!) I wrote to the media liason and he wrote back "they are spread about" WTF does that mean? So I found a small wooden chair - pulled it to an outlet and started blogging but this is nuts!
The enemy, the leftstream media has lush accommodations. AP, Reuters the usual suspects are being fed like kings, all the monitors are on CNN, laughing joking - I heard one say snarkily (about the Palin pregnancy" "oh, it's alright because she is getting married". laughing ugh.
Do they have a frickin clue how much heavy lifting we do for these bots? The fleabag motel was one thing, but this is "unacceptable" (do I sound like Bush now?)
UPDATE: They just took my chair away ............. the makeshift restaurant, "I need that chair back at the table!" .....but I bought a coffee. *sigh*
keyster on the floor.
Richie from Hiphop Republican to the rescue. That man always comes to my rescue. We covered the Black Republican forum together, He is covering this for The Washington Post - how cool is that? The Washington Post launched a new online magazine back in January aimed at a black audience, featuring commentary from leading black writers, along with information on genealogy.Called "The Root," the website is the brain child of Post Chairman Donald Graham and Harvard University professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. So you can check his stuff out there. Damn!
In a word ....wow. I have a chair here. Which is a good thing.
UPDATE: Another good thing. Cheney speaks tomorrow night and Laura Bush will be speaking tonight about Gustav. Governors from the Gulf states will be speaking as well.
Here's Prager doing his thing (photo left) on radio rowand Hip Hop on the right with a reporter from an Israel newspaper
UPDATE: Richie (Hip Hop) is with The Washington Post is situated fabulously -- and who is sitting next to him? Daily KOS!!! Those lunatics get premier status. Color me bewildered.
Going to head over to the ACU event

I'm glad you finally found a chair to rest your A..tlas - even if it is in the nosebleed seats! LOL! Keep up the good work. I'm sure things will pick up as the week goes on.

Lunatics get primo spots during a political gathering? You're surprised? It's a beltway politics mentality. I'd almost say it's the saying "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" at work, but it turns out to be "Keep your enemies closer and let your friends look for chairs."
KOS gets ink. RedState gets blame (for posting the Fowler hurricane gaffe on YouTube).

Well, at least you know who your friends are now.

Okay, now you can have a martini.

Quite the setup for bloggers row, eh?
One 2-foot wide bar, with bar stools, no plug ins for laptops, and no wi-fi.
Now there's convenience!
But you're right about the network digs...
pretty fancy.
I have more here.

Hey PG: that's a nice photo of you on you 'Atlas' LOL!
But you seem radiant and happy at doing what you do better than anyone out there: give us the unadorned 'real deal'!
Hopefully your accomodations will improve somewhat, although I don't know how you are able to fully keep your composure when you realize that the Kos has such 'cushy digs'.
Thanks for making such a great impression for us (and for NYC!) at all the events: your pics with Jon Voight (another great American) are wonderful!
We continue to pray for your patience, wisdom and sustaince energy during this week: God Bless You!
