Eric Shawn is reporting that today's Anti-Ahmadinejad (boycotted) rally drew 2,000 (and that was with the Jewish day schools in attendance). They made spin it but the numbers do not lie.
Last year, I reported in my anti-Ahmadinejad post that CBS reported 25,000 attended.
In 2006, I reported the number was 40,000.
The boycott had an effect. Good! Be there Thursday.
Imagine if Palin was there. If she could draw 60,000 in Florida with no poison dwarf, no bread and circuses, or greek columns. Imagine if .....

Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik wore a bullet-proof vest
In his speech, Wiesel advised the Iranian leader to "go home and stay home," saying that his place was not at the UN, but rather, at the international war crimes tribunal, where he should be tried for crimes against humanity. Wiesel slammed Ahmadinejad for repeatedly calling for Israel's extermination and for preaching hatred and nuclear destruction. (More at Ynet News)

Where is Sarah?
In our hearts and souls, that's where.
Hopefully she'll kick tail on Thursday and roses will be tossed at that mensch.

Has Sarah agreed to come and speak on Thursday? If so, I'm flying in from Arizona.

The Jewish leadership took a dump on Palin and now expect our support. No way, they can suck up to Hussein O and his admitted Muslem faith and see how far that gets them. They'll regret the day he becomes POTUS because they will be on their own and Hussien will assist the Islamist. Evidently the Jews have gone soft in the head after all the years they stood up for themselves.
They can go pray and then kiss Israel goodbye.

pamela:
this rally should have been focused on protecting israel.
instead, the organizers of this rally sacrificed the interests of israel, jews worldwide, and those who seek to protect western civilization from this menace, all for protecting the interests of obama's campaign, and senator hillary clinton's "status" in new york state, when they "disinvited" sarah palin.
hillary clinton had accepted an invitation. sarah palin accepted an invitation. hillary clinton withdrew when she learned of this, and the obama campaign pressed the rally organizers to "disinvite" palin.
how ironic it is, then, that in her prepared remarks for the rally sarah palin was most cordial & laudatory toward senator clinton, and very deferential about being nice coming onto another politicians home turf. she had no intention to take "cheap shots" at clinton, and by contrast went out of her way to be nice to the "home state" politician.
so, in order to protect obama and clinton, the rally organizers presided over a bust, when they could have gathered people to their cause in the magnitude of multiple 10's of thousands.
how pathetically sad. especially when one is mindful of the real stakes involved here, the prevention of the nuclear anihilation of israel.
as bugs bunny would have been wont to remark, "what a bunch of ultra maroons!!"
since bugs ain't here, i will say it, what a bunch of ultra maroons!!! who appoints these morons, anyway?

p.s. and, how do the heads of the various committees who "organized" this fiasco, keep their jobs given the display of utter stupidity and cupidity as here?
this rally not political?
give me a break, this is politics at the highest level, and should have had political participants at the highest level, displaying a non-partisan zeal to protect israel.
why was obama not here? biden?
they were not here, and they made sure sarah palin was not here, to avoid being upstaged by a vibrant and very hot property politically, that's why.
in short, they put their interests above israel's interests, and above the interests of jews worldwide.
this isn't very surprising about obama and biden, is it?
and, apparently we can now expect less from hillary as well.

Pamela, I fear that whether BHO or McCain is elected, the IDF will wipe out Iran's nuclear assets before January 20th. That step will be absolutely necessary if BHO is elected and unfortunately also if McCain is elected. McCain will not even consider allowing Israel to defend itself against Iran's nuclear attack, instead promising to stand by Israel if it's attacked. Fat lot of good that'd do.
This is time of great danger to Israel and I doubt if that new Kadima PM understands that. I have no trust in the Kadima group since Ariel Sharon was stricken.
