Deadly Dems Gushing, Giggly over Gustav
In case you thought the moral depravity of the left was only part of the DNA of the radical fringe, check this out from RedState: (hat tip Jeremayakovka)
On a plane from Denver to Charlotte following the Democrats' convention, I found myself seated behind former National Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Don Fowler and Congressman John Spratt of South Carolina. Their conversation was interesting to say the least.
For example, they made fun of Sarah Palin for several minutes, Fowler calling her "Dan Quayle" on steroids and Spratt creatively describing her as "just terrible." They both agreed that, "Other than the simple fact that she's a female," she has nothing to offer.
Watch how the former National Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Don Fowler is laughing about a hurricane hitting ..........
So you see, it's funny. That New Orleans will get a hurricane. That's funny because it is due to hit when President Bush is scheduled to speak. Isn't that cool? Fowler isn't the only one who thinks so, just ask Michael Moore.
We all know Democrats used and use Katrina as a political football as callously as possible. Here's a candid moment showing some can hardly wait for another one.
All Class.

It could be worse than that though.
If the Republicans have a boistrous celebration, one can be sure the drive by media will cut to scenes of Republicans celebrating stacked against people suffering from the fury of the hurricane.
The Republicans may want to make the convention just a sober, intellectual event rather than a party because of that smear the drive by media will do. Fox News won't stoop so low, but NBC, MSNBC, CBS; etc., will.
Then, again, a lot less people watch news stories except for Leftwing shills Jon Stewart and Steve Colberg. Those two herald the intellectual decline in this country in their popularity as news sources(!).

I understand it has already been changed to a Hurricane assistance event. Help from across the nation and world will be requested every hour or so. More help will be provided by these republican request than any democrat administration every provided.
Actully more help was provided during Katrina (mostly ignored by the dems running the state and city)than at any time in history. Only the anti-american media and the retarded democrats who swallowed the media slime don't know this, they really know it but to admit it would be admitting a failure and a democrat can never do that.
To me the Kennedy, Carter and Clinton administrations have been the worst for working people in my 67 years. "The poor have been voting democrat for over 50 years and they're still poor". Charles Barkley, NBA

So "That just demonstrates that God is on our side", eh Senator? I seem to remember Nazi Germany had ""Gott Mit Uns" as their motto also. Funny how much the Democrats have in common with the National Socialist Party/Nazis.

Oh-my-gosh! Did a conservative actually give these demo-tards a taste of their own medicine? Can you imagine what these two bozos thought when they realized their conversation they thought was so private is now on You Tube?
Who is terrible?
BTW Miss Pamela, check out Sarah's red shoes on Drudge. Absolutely adorable.

I saw a bunch of the left side blogs trotting out their Katrina posts and such again today to bash the Bush administration and Republicans.
As before the just sort of left out most of the city/state issues by those who really were charged with the issue.
Shameful leveraging of a bad situation for pure political reasons.

The GOP has an opportunity to turn this into a win. If the GOP learned anything from Katrina, it should have been that it is extremely foolish to let the left control the narrative. The Bush Administration has been a complete failure in this (public relations and communication) department. The have been their own worst enemy.
Hurricane Gustav can be used as a teaching moment on the role of local, state, and federal governments and how are supposed to work in a natural disaster scenario. Local and state governments completely failed Louisiana, while Mississippi saw no such human fiasco, simply because responsible people did their jobs.
Also contrasting this to this years Iowa floods will illustrate how self reliant midwesterners rise to the occasion and deal with it, while the New Orleans welfare culture produces helpless dependents.
