I wasn't going to blog about this because the pictures were so obscene and debased, I thought it gratuitous and would give perverts and cyber pornographers grist for their sex mill. I was wrong.

Zombie filed a photo essay on the Folsom Street parade that was so graphic and disgusting, I did not continue. You are given ample warning: (it is difficult to view)

No, not exaggerating. Without having seen these I would not even think to vacation to that city despite how many folks extol its beauty. The last time I was there, the streets reeked of urine, there was a  palpable feeling of lawlessness (or as the leftards might say, "anything goes") . It was gross, view or no view. It is Sodom and Gomorrah and I would not expose myself to such licentiousness and filth (let alone my kids.)

I don't care what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home. I do care when you chisel (or in this case take a demolish ball) to the very fabric of society. There is no compunction about jeopardizing the whole of society for a perceived civil rights violation (sort of like the same "activists" that refused to shut the bathhouses despite it's role in spreading the deadly AIDS virus. It infringed upon their sexual freedom and rights despite a climbing death toll).

These pics do not represent the gay community but rather how the left is destroying the nation. It is utter common sense that this should not be permitted in the public square. END OF STORY. Political elites that have sold out for political gain deserve  jail time. Judges that hold the rights of special interest interests group above the greater good should be disbarred. Values mean something. Here are the forces of evil triumphing over the good men who do nothing.

It's no wonder that sharia is not creeping but galloping and enveloping the most influential institutions of Western civilization. We have no spine, no morality.

These pictures are a display of pure anarchy. There is a giant hole and Islam will fill it - an extreme to the other extreme. I tie the two together because with a strong moral fiber and sense of utter decency, the West would not be so easy to infiltrate and conquer.

You might say - "oh c'mon that's San Francisco - they're nuts!" and yes they are but it does have impact and influence. Even here in New York you see this radical behavior - this utter decay - creep into the norm, like this "Nude Dining = in buff stuff is huge!" (New York Post). Nothing happens in a vacuum - for every action, there's a reaction and if you keep moving that line in the sand, you're going to drown.

Some folks are stripping down to escape the scorching summer temperatures - but others aren't waiting 'til they hit the area's clothing-optional beaches.

  The au naturel look is catching on at city restaurants, a Midtown yoga club and even a stand-up comedy joint.

It's wrong, plain and simple.

One  the members of my yahoo chat group,  911 neocons,  made this important point.

I think it matters because I think it shows the debauchery that is creeping through urban society.  In the Spring, we thought it would be fun to take the kids to Bay to Breakers.  I was utterly revolted though, by the way in which the Folsom Street ethos had crept into the race.  The wacky costumes were tolerable (even the grossly political).  What was hard to explain to the kids was (a) the naked people, (b) the people with bound scrotums, and (c) the people peeing all over the place.  As far as I know, even the Romans didn't indulge in these types of public Bacchanals.  (Just FYI, I blogged about B2B B2B here, here and here.)

If you look at Up Your Alley, you see that this is precisely the type of behavior we saw at Bay to Breakers, only worse and more concentrated.  In each case, when you let the extreme go unremarked, you give it license to leak into the ordinary. 

I have to agree with what I think is Zombie's point:  a City that allows these types of public displays is a deeply sick City. 

I don't care if this behavior goes on behind closed doors between consenting adults.  To allow it out in public, though, is a sign of decay -- and people ought to be aware of it, since it eventually does affect them.

Thank you for the links, which I appreciate.

I wouldn't go so far as executing the miscreants -- who are, after all, getting permission from their government to do what they do. However, I would crack down a la Giuliani's turn around in New York in the 1990s. Giuliani made sure that any crimes on the books were treated as crimes. If people didn't like the fact that something was illegal, it was up to them to change the laws, not to engage in the conduct while thumbing their noses at the authorities.

As it is, there is only so far that a culture can slide into debauchery before it implodes. I hope that any implosion is limited to the City and does not undermine surrounding states and communities.

Right now,things are getting so far out of hand, and information once secret is now being spread (thanks to Zombie), that I think the ordinary people in the Bay Area (who make a large, but silent minority) might start to speak out.

I love that city - used to work and live there but it got so perverted I could no longer stand to live there. San Francisco is truly a place where the inmates run the asylum (a local talk show host in SF, Lee Rodgers, calls SF "The world's largest outdoor lunatic asylum"). Worst part is this ooze is creeping out over the Bay Bridge and down 101 and infesting other parts of California. Stuff I saw 15 years ago in San Francisco is now showing up on the streets of Sacramento. The pervs are getting totally in your face because they know the politicians will bow down and kiss their < insert body part here >. Heck, I know a number of gay people (male and female) that have left SF because it has gotten so bad they can't stomach it either.

Don't blame the majority of the rank and file officers on the SFPD. Most of them are as disgusted with this type of behavior as we are, but they dare not say anything (or do anything either, regardless of the laws on the books). The "Lavender Mafia" runs the SFPD, City Hall in general and the DA's Office. If the street cops say anything they'll be out the door so fast you'd think a Saturn V rocket was attached to them. Most just want to finish up their 20 and get out of Dodge with their pension. BTW, a large number of SFPD officers don't live in SF because it is such a horrid place to raise kids (most live south of the city in San Mateo County in places like Daly City and Brisbane).

I don't know what it is going to take to right this ship, but I do know we better do it bloody soon or we will not have a country that any of us will recognize.

The folks I have a ton of sympathy for are the aged and the really poor folks that live in SF that are stuck there. Many of the aged are in rent-controlled apartments (SF rent control is as severe or more so that NYC) and cannot afford to move out even if they could find another place.

The root of the problem there is that the militant pervs and the leftist lunatic fringe has captured the city & county government - this started in the late 70s. Remember too: the Speaker of the House is from SF and her district covers about 75% of SF and includes the areas populated by the pervs and the lunatic left (the poor area of town on the SE side is in another district as well as the far SW side where I used to live). SF hasn't had a sane Mayor since Joe Alioto or a sane CongressCritter since Leo Ryan (who died at Jonestown).

The comments on this story disgust me far more than the original content. I have not joined the anti-jihad movement to be lectured by people who are more bigoted than those I am fighting, and yet bigotry is all I can see in these responses.

If I go looking for sex outside the bedroom, I will find it. If I don't, I won't. That makes sense to me. The people depicted in this story are not forcing their views on anyone, they are not violent, they are not passing judgement on others and I don't even know how they vote.
