RELEASE OBAMA'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE!

And why won't Obama release his birth certificate?  Is it his country of birth? His religion? His name?  Why won't the media ask these questions? They busted McCain's chops over his birth certificate concerning the Panama nonsense ........

Jim Geraghty (who sees the same toxic MSNBC strain in Newsweek that I do) brings up the interesting fact that Sen. Obama will not release his birth certificate. There are rumors swirling as to why he won't. I think the one about his name on the certificate is probably closest to the mark. One rumor is that he was named Barry, which is not a big deal - lots of people decide, in processing their heritage, to take a more ethnic named. The other rumor, though, is that it is his middle name that is problematic; that it is not Hussein, but Muhammed. People do sometimes fiddle with their middle names, but if Obama did, it will be interesting to ask why he moved away from Muhammed (which is becoming the most popular baby name in Britain and elsewhere), to Hussein - a declared enemy of the United States - will surely be something people will wonder about.

Maybe the best way to stop the rumors is to simply release his birth certificate.

We must demand the man who aspires to the White House release his birth certificate.

There is another, deeper issue with the birth certificate. Where was Obama born? Was he born in the US or outside of the country? Is Obama legally eligible to run for President. Gateway Pundit covers this and the non-issue of whether Obama's parents were legally married at the time of his birth. That is a non-issue. Most bastards I've run across in life made themselves such, no matter what may have been their birth circumstance. However, there is an eligibility threshold posited by the Constitution and explicated by the US Code. That is the main issue.

If he doesn't release his birth certificate there should be ample record of it's use.

What documentation requires proof of birth (birth certificate) - passport? drivers license? school registration? taxes? Social Security?

There has got to be a paper trail out there on Obama.
