It's not true that life is one damn thing after another; it is one damn thing over and over.
Edna St. Vincent Millay
Soar, eat ether, see what has never been seen; depart, be lost, but climb.
Edna St. Vincent Millay
My candle burns at both ends
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -
It gives a lovely light.
Edna St. Vincent Millay, "A Few Figs from Thistles", 1920
Please give me some good advice in your next letter. I promise not to follow it.
Edna St. Vincent Millay, Letters, 1952
Where you used to be, there is a hole in the world, which I find myself constantly walking around in the daytime, and falling into at night. I miss you like hell.
Edna St. Vincent Millay, Letters, 1952
God, I can push the grass apart and lay my finger on Thy heart. Edna
I am glad that I paid so little attention to good
advice; had I abided by it I might have been saved from some of my most
valuable mistakes.
I know I am but summer to your heart, and not the full four seasons of the year
If I love you Wednesday, What is that to you? I do not love you Thursday - so much is true.
Not truth, but faith, it is that keeps the world alive.
Set the foot down with distrust on the crust of the world - it is thin
it's great to see bush slam the peacenik journalists. i agree, i wish he would do the same re the "pali" jihadists. and i wish, oh how we could wish, that he would do the same for israel to get gaza back and return the precious jews of gush katif. i read today on israpundit about "sewage terrorism"...all this dumped crap from gaza floating north.
i'm not one to raise my voice about this stuff in arguments..not good for the health...but you gotta wonder if it could really shut up the loonies.

Saw the whole thing on CSPAN. He did a good job and seems to get it. Although America seems to have gone from liking him to hating him, and I went from not liking him to really liking him, I wish he would go all the way in actions like he is in his speech in the clip.
Regarding the gaza sewage terrorism, what'd you expect? They slaughter giant sea-turtles and drink their blood! Think they care about your water?
It actually sounds like blood libel while typing it it's so absurd. but who could invent such events.
Peace partners indeed.
