Ed Lasky wrote, "Fox called it for Hillary Clinton. But that is the beginning, not the end, of the spin wars. Juan Williams, looking at the exit polls showing Obama lost the white vote 60-40%, says, “Reverend Wright is not behind us.” Clearly, there will be room for Clinton to make her argument that Obama is not moving in the right direction to consolidate the party and present a challenge to John McCain. So far those key Reagan Democrats don’t seem to have been sold on Obama.
And one other note: commentators note that Clinton is doing extremely well in Montgomery County with a large Jewish population. Could it be they care about Reverend Wright, Iran and Hamas? Who would have thought?
The worm is turning. Barak Hussein could not bring together certain members of the coaltion. He captured the black vote and the woefully misinformed yoot vote. It's all smoke and mirrors and when the smoke clears you find you are in the room with Hamas, Farrakhan, Ayers, Auchi, Rezko, Odinga, Chavez, Islamic jihad ........
During the debate, hosted by ABC, the candidates were asked: "Should it be US policy now to treat an Iranian attack on Israel as if it were an attack on the United States?"
To this Obama answered: "I have said I will do whatever is required to prevent the Iranians from obtaining nuclear weapons.
"I believe that that includes direct talks with the Iranians where we are laying out very clearly for them, here are the issues that we find unacceptable, not only development of nuclear weapons but also funding terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as their anti-Israel rhetoric and threats towards Israel.
"I think it is very important that Iran understands that an attack on Israel is an attack on our strongest ally in the region, one whose security we consider paramount. It would be an act of aggression that I would consider unacceptable, and the United States would take appropriate action."
