Must have eaten too many porkchops. Or perhaps he ate the cupcakes. Keep 'em coming Al-Sadr can't die soon enough. If they track down the the guy that poisoned him, nominate him for a Nobel Peace prize.

Shi'ite cleric and leader Muqtada Al-Sadr was secretly transferred a few days ago from Iraq to Iran for hospitalization as he was comatose.
It was reported that his illness resulted from food poisoning.
Al-Sadr is being treated by Iranian specialists, as well as by Russian doctors brought in to help the Iranian medical staff treat him.
UODATE: His "food" poisoning induced coma being treated by Iranian and Russian doctors. Mara adds, "Because Russian doctors have so much hands on experience with "food" poisoning, no doubt".
And Steve shares this pearl, "I've been "treated" by Russians doctors. Also for food poisoning. You can rest easy tonight in the knowledge that he is received some of the worst medical care this side of witch doctors."

Most likely a few of his teeth fell out and he swallowed them. Martyrdom via gingivitis. Tooth for a tooth... so to speak.
