22 residents of Sderot and Ashkelon were transported to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon for treatment Saturday after being injured by the rocket salvo on the two southern cities.

One Ashkelon resident was moderately injured, six were lightly injured and ten suffered from shock. Five resident of Sderot were treated for shock.

At least 46 rockets were launched at Israel since Friday night, some landing in open areas in Sderot and the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council.

Hamas intensifies rocket war
Targeting deeper as Israel fails to halt deadly onslaught

JERUSALEM – Intensifying its rocket war against Israel, the Hamas terror group today fired long-range rockets farther than usual into the Jewish state, targeting a city that houses the main electrical supply station that powers the Gaza Strip.

"This is a war for victory or for martyrdom. We will keep improving our rockets and target further into the Zionist entity," Muhammad Abdel-Al, spokesman for the Hamas-allied Popular Resistance Committees terror group, told WND.

At least 10 Grad rockets slammed into the coastal city of Ashkelon, about six miles from the Israeli border with the Gaza Strip. Several people were reported wounded from the attack, although the exact number was unclear. One of the rockets scored a direct hit on a home.

Grad rockets are longer-range Soviet-style projectiles similar to the Katyusha rocket, which the Lebanese Hezbollah terror group successfully used in 2006 to barrage northern Israel. The Grad travels further and has a larger payload than the Qassam rocket, which can travel about five miles and is the usual rocket of choice for Palestinians.

UPDATE Correction from Jan:  The Grad is a Russian rocket.  

Check this out. The reports on line now are that Israel is being hit with Iranian made rockets.

What the Palestinians got from American and Olmert were M-16 rifles and millions of bullets.  I read today that Hamas has set up thousands (?) of houses with ammunition, food and water to hold out for months.

Look at the video on the raid on the Iraqi reactor.  There is much political information in it.  It took 3 years to prepare the attack!

Not to mention the main British papers and the AP (and FoxNews) which were all misquoting Israel's Dep. Defense Minister yesterday saying that Israel would launch a "Holocaust" against the Gazans. Of course, he used the term "shoah", meaning "catastrophe" and not "HaShoah", meaning "The Holocaust", saying that if they kept it up, the Gazans would be bringing a bigger catastrophe (than their shelling of Israelis and bigger than the Israelis bombing of empty buildings) upon themselves.

Of course, these papers feed into the Palis wrong interpretation of the language as threatening a "genocide" .

Nothing about the rocket barrages that Israelis have to duck and dive from everyday, just that mean, bastard Israel has just decided it's Pali hunting season again and so lock and load. One of two things has to happen, either the Israelis need to stop ducking and diving and start dying like good little Jews, so the media and the rest of the world might take pity on them. Or the rest of the world needs to be subjected to daily rocket barrages and be ducking and diving themselves before they'll learn. Since neither is going to happen any time soon, I suggest the Israelis step up their activities, start calling the media racists & Jew-haters and start asking if we want another holocaust or something. After all it's working for the Jihadists so why not.
