Sarkozy Caves on Teaching Holocaust

Speechless. Completely speechless. When I ran the article of Sarkozy's standing up to the Jew haters, I never thought he would back down. It's a history lesson for Gd's sake. It happened. The asshats over at the EMDH children's rights group said: "No educational project should be constructed on death." Really? I guess they won't be conducting any history classes anymore. At least not any historically accurate ones.

(IsraelNN.com) French President Nicolas Sarkozy has dropped his proposal to teach the Holocaust to children following a wave of protests from left wing politicians. He told the annual conference of the French Jewish umbrella group last month that every pupil should be assigned a name of a Jewish deportee during the Nazi rule and then research the family. Critics objected to the plan, arguing that it would cause schoolchildren to suffer trauma.
   
The government will explore other avenues to "encourage children in classrooms to look at, not other children in particular, but rather a given situation in a given city," according to former government minister and Auschwitz survivor Simone Veil. He agreed with opponents of the proposal, saying it was "unimaginable, unbearable and unjust."

BTW- I learned a lot about how Native Americans were murdered, raped, and robbed by "Americans"- I learned this in SCHOOL, right here in the USA. I learned about the evil treatment of Africans in this country TOO. (What of course they did NOT teach in school was who originated the African slave trade and CONTINUES IT to this very day). I did NOT learn much about the Holocaust in public school. I learned a lot from people who LIVED THROUGH IT and are STILL ALIVE, as well as some of the PEOPLE WHO COMMITTED IT. The lessons to be learned from such things are hopefully that they WON'T be repeated, and considering the rise of ANTI-SEMETISM in Europe (and there were French who eagerly helped round up and MURDER their Jewish neighbors-- don't forget, the Bosnian Muslims who VOLUNTEERED to be Nazi Death Heads, and formed the LARGEST UNIT of the GERMAN ARMY, with their SOLE REASON for volunteering- hoping to EXTERMINATE JEWS), to ignore such lessons of just 60 years ago is FOOLISHNESS. Over 100 MILLION DEAD from WWII. Overwhelming majority NON combatants. Only one side targeting as enemies for UTTER ANNIHILATION UNARMED NON-COMBATANT CIVILIANS living in their MIDST... the NAZIS targeting Jews and other "non-desirables" such as Gypsies, Blacks, and HOMOSEXUALS LIKE YOU, DUN-CAN.

BTBTW-- Native Americans living in abject poverty are like Blacks and Hispanics living in abject poverty here in the USA. They are VICTOCRATS, preferring to blame OTHERS for their perpetuated misery, rather than getting educations and GETTING ON WITH THEIR LIVES. Sitting around crying about how "the white man" this, and "the white man" that doesn't put bread on your table. Getting off your ASS and doing some WORK does. They won't let you in "their" schools (HA!), MAKE YOUR OWN SCHOOLS. They don't let you work in "their" businesses? Make your own businesses. Hospitals? Build some. Clubs? Organizations? Etc. Etc.?? Plenty of racial and ethnic groups discriminated against and oppressed throughout history, here in the USA and elsewhere, have persevered and not just survived, but SUCCEED in life (legally and honestly) by DOING for themselves what OTHERS won't. IT CAN BE DONE. Where there's a will, there's a way.
