This low grade civil war is more than just the republishing of the motoons.  The guerrilla warfare started the day before  the toons were republished. It ain't the toons, it's the global jihad, stupid.

Bombing in Copenhagen - A turn for the worse

A bombing in Copenhagen this morning followed a week of street riots over the 'Prophet' cartoons

Around 11am today a bomb exploded in a solarium in Copenhagen. The suntan shop was situated just by the national football stadium in Oesterbro, a peaceful and affluent part of the Danish capital. The explosion completely destroyed the shop and the surrounding flats were also damaged.

The police are putting the fact that no one was hurt down to sheer luck; two other bags were found in the area and have been destroyed. Two young men between the ages of 15 and 25 were seen running away from the crime scene; they were described as "foreign-looking" and are now wanted by the police.

Which was it 15 or 25?

The explosion is a drastic escalation of the week-long riots on the streets Denmark where young Muslim men have vented their anger and frustration towards Danish society by setting fire to cars and burning bonfires in the streets.

"Frustration towards Danish society" They don't deserve Danish society.

The rioters claim that their action is a protest against the reprinting of the prophet cartoons, which took place last Wednesday when a unified Danish press decided to print/reprint the cartoon depicting the prophet Muhammad with a bomb in his turban. The decision to reprint was taken when the Danish security service (PET) notified the public that three men had been arrested on suspicion of plotting the murder of the cartoonist, Kurt Westergaard.

They should be shipped back to their 7th century dirt holes.

However, it is debatable whether the reprinting of the cartoons was the real reason behind the rioting. The night before they were published the air on Oesterbro was thick with the smoke of bonfires and burning rubber, carried by the wind from neighbouring Noerrebro, where much of the rioting has taken place. The cartoons no doubt had an explosive effect on matters, but the fire was already burning.

Don't be surprised when, one day soon, the Danes and the rest of Europe back up the busses and send Muslims back to the 7th Century where they belong.

Below is an article which describes the closure of a Danish art exhibition in Berlin.

Some Muslims were upset by posters, nothing to do with the cartoons, one of them had a picture of the Kaaba in Mecca. It was titled "Stupid Stone". Not surprisingly this up set some Muslims. Concrete threats were made, so the exhibition has been closed.

There was also a poster called "Stupid Cap", this was of a Jewish man with a traditional cap on his head, sorry I cannot remember the name.
No Jewish group is known to have made any threats.
In the final sentence Kunstforeningen Tiergarten (An art assocciation) say that Muslims in Europe have to learn they cannot censor art exhibitions.

Dansk kunstudstilling i Berlin lukket efter trusler fra muslimer, der føler sig krænket over en plakat med kabaen, den islamiske centralhelligdom i Mekka.

En udstilling i Berlin med satirisk-politiske karikaturtegninger og plakater lavet af den danske kunstnergruppe Surrend er blevet lukket af sikkerhedsgrunde. Det oplyste de tyske myndigheder torsdag.

Ifølge Kunstforeningen Tiergarten forårsagede "opbragte muslimer" tirsdag forstyrrelser på udstillingen, hvor de krævede, at en af de 21 plakater blev fjernet.

- Dette blev fulgt op af konkrete trusler om vold, hvis dette ikke skete, oplyser kunstforeningen.

Genstanden for vreden er en plakat, der viser kabaen, den hellige sten i Mekka. Plakaten har inskriptionen "Dumme Sten". I udstillingen findes også en plakat med en mand, der bærer en typisk jødisk hovedbeklædning. Den har inskriptionen "Dumme Hue".

Udstillingen blev åbnet fredag af formanden for Berlins Kunstakademi, Klaus Staeck. Han betegner truslen mod den danske udstilling som "fuldstændig uacceptabel".

- Muslimer i Europa må acceptere, at de ikke kan censurere en kunstudstilling i et galleri, siger Kunstforeningen Tiergarten i en pressemeddelelse.
